  1. Interesting you should mention. Liberals have a plan for how to deal with expired 'Best Before' dates. - By simply removing them. A report on grocery affordability from a House of Commons committee on agriculture and agri-food includes calls for Canada to do away with best-before dates. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-best-before-dates-food-waste-1.6897004 Now you know what that means.
  2. Bathurst and Bloor you say? My condolences, friend. But it explains everything. I'm at Bay and Lake...
  3. That was a reference to comedian Eric Andre. I was watching his show at that time. We used to have a lot of fun around here, back in the day when it was properly moderated. You are a Canadian by law, but that is not what I meant. Canadians are known for their tolerance and patience with those who are "different". In whatever ways you can imagine. And I can prove that. Also we are known to be polite and respectful. It's a Canadian trait. But only to a point. If you sass off too much we might suddenly pull your shirt over your head, and pommel the crap out of you.
  4. Dougie and I understand each other fairly well. We are not looking for fame, just expressing views we believe in. We are the last Canadians.
  5. My beautiful friend. I like you, but you are a mean and angry drunk. It's ok, doesn't bother me at all because I guess there are some deeper issues. Tomorrow, you will wake up and love me again.
  6. The thread is about Canada and world peace. Learn to behave and we can discuss our ideas further. I don't have a problem if another poster differs with me, or even teases or ridicules me as long as they have a useful point to make in it somehow. Blatant insulting, that is for primitive low-browed losers. You're not a primitive, low-browed loser right now, are you? Because we know... are drunk again. lmao
  7. I came here to express my views and mainly to stand up for those who are oppressed by the wealthy and powerful. I believe in fairness and to protect human rights. When I am not here I do my duty as a citizen. Work, pay my taxes and try to raise other compassionate human beings. It is not intelligence I value as much as compassion. I am... Canadian.
  8. Old Canada. The one that was seen as a force for good in the world. The one we could feel pride in. National pride...
  9. I'm not trying to beat you down. I am simply a human observer. I already explained my picture and what it means, "O". However you deleted that thread out of shame or something, so the beautiful post I made about it is gone now. I'm in no mood to repeat myself. Tomorrow you might apologize again for the surprise attacks. It's ok.
  10. That Canada was once considered a peace-keeper nation and one of the most progressive countries in the world? Hardly. Name a better country. But also one involved in outreach and humanitarianism as has been our reputation in the past. Don't say "Sweden". ?
  11. I did look it up and that's what it says, little Herbie. What do you think it says? "Single people without children will get up to $234 and seniors will see a rebate of up to $225". They even nickel-and-dimed seniors out for ten bucks. I guess they don't eat much.
  12. Whatever gives you a sense of purpose in life. I am simply an observer. Nationalism is a foil against globalism. Most people prefer self-determination as opposed to being ruled by disenfranchised elite. At least give us the franchised elite.
  13. Don't know but he was not found until years later in another country. So US has the right to invade anywhere with their military and kill thousands, maybe millions by some estimates, just to go after one man? Not only the deaths but the suffering. Those countries became shitholes far worse than before thanks to the US. No one talks about conditions or what happened to women's rights in Iraq after Saddam was executed. For that part they keep their mouth shut.
  14. To what end? Bin laden was not there, and after decades of war. US pulled out in virtual defeat while taliban and mujahideen still run things as they see fit. Afghanistan, the graveyard of empires won again.
  15. I am already against that, regardless of Putin. I've been clear on my position that I am no homophobe, but I see these as non-issues being pushed on the public by liberal governments, as a distraction.
  16. Yes I believe it. I was against the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well.
  17. Why should he lie? It doesn't benefit anyone. The difference is that he , like myself, does not see any "good" guys in this fiasco. You may think that the US, Canada, EU are the good guys but I disagree. They did all the political manouvering to make this war become a reality, without them being in it directly. Classic Macchiavelli technique. Same old same old. But back to thread title, this is not the peacekeeper role that Canada would have normally taken in its past. The new structure of world peace should be Canada's old structure of peace. Canada having been the most progressive and futurist country in the world, would have been the ones to initiate dialogue on a ceasefire. Under JT, Canada is just another globalist war supporter.
  18. I am not sure what point you are trying to make. I explained the vote was the real poll, not some opinion poll that could have been posted by Guardian. The user who mentioned this didn't even reference what poll they were talking about, but you appear to have bought into it anyway. I said I am skeptical of polls, while a real vote is legit. That time came and went. You want to start the process to request another referendum, go right ahead. It will have to go through the same steps and due process as any legitimate referendum vote should. That's how the system works.
  19. Plus, now that Poillievre's fixed his glasses and hair, he'll get more of the gay and women's votes.
  20. Yes, because a vote is a fully vetted process that hopefully is not rigged. UK voting system is not rigged. I can show public opinion polls on anything. Doesn't make them reliable or valid, especially in todays politically charged atmosphere. They discussed Brexit for years and this is the outcome. That's what my earlier post means.
  21. The only poll that matters is the one they already had, which came after years of political debate.
  22. I heard the rebate maxes out at like 200 bucks. Big whoop. Not even lunch money for the fat cats in Ottawa when they go out.
