I'm no legal expert or anything, but one way to deal with it is by delaying these cases. Trump will go into the election with hundreds of charges on his head, facing thousands of hours of jail time. For Trump, being re-elected president is existential. The man who must be president, or be executed by firing squad. It doesn't matter that he gets convicted, just having the charges against him is a political advantage to the left. It will not stop Trump, and may actually bolster his appeal.

Justice may only be applied in context of your partisanship. Your justice is not my justice. Justice does not occur in a bubble. What I mean is, in one place, in what suits you politically.
