Is pretty simple, man. The ball of awareness. All's Pierre's gotta do is make people aware that he's ready to take the reigns, he is a normal and sensible guy. Is like boxing, Hagler vs Leonard round one. You don't show all your cards yet. Just defend, lay low, look for weakness. Let em think you're weak... then... whammo

He may have been trying to block or trip the other player by sticking his leg out behind him as the passed behind him. Sometimes a defenceman might stick his leg out to block the out pass, with the hope it goes off their boot. It should not be very high up, but if people skate with their heads down low, adds to the risk. That could still qualify as being manslaughter I suppose. It depends on whether they had insurance and signed waivers to accept the risk of death or injury while playing in the league. Athletes occasionally die in other sports such as boxing, wrestling. Baseball. Archery, even. What are the legal implications of these types of injuries, should someone be convicted of manslaughter? We'd all be dressed up like them guys on the bomb-removal squad. -

Why should he do much else at this point, two years out from the game? "All Poilievre needs to do for Trudeau to lose, is nothing." Literally just stay out of the way. Avoid the drowning man. Besides, I as Canadian citizen prefer a politician who sticks to the core essentials of their job and does them well, stay out of the social re-engineering wars. Therefore Fie on Trudeau I say, fie. (Just thought I'd throw that last part in. )

Well that is off-topic. Whether abolishing money, or technology makes things better or not is the point being discussed, not whether progress brought by technology is good or not. Abolishing money is the topic, which makes a reference to Marxist ideas. I think my point is pretty clear, we will exploit any situation that brings an advantage in terms of power. That's why communism failed, was simply a ruse, a lie that could never be. In fact made things worse, as the final outcome was a crumbling USSR, culminating in nuclear detonation in Chernobyl. That is the road the OP puts us on. Movin along...

But I do know how they are used. The first question is generally, 1. How can it be used to kill. 2. How can it be used to commit adultery? 3. How can it be used to steal... .... Now you may think that's not always true, but I say it usually is. How does new technology get developed, how is it first made, for what reason. Reading history especially modern, you'll see there is no question the driving force behind "technological development and progress" is to make better weaponry to fight in war. The will to military supremacy is what motivated the development of technology especially in WW1 and 2. So I am saying, this is innate in the human being. Technology is just another one of your blessed media we use... to kill.

How would that make any real difference, Michael Hardener? is the real "point" I am making. Yes you missed the point again, but that's alright. We expect that from you now and even still like you. But if you think that removing money will stop exploitation and greed, well then you really are a liberal.

Liberals have shit their bed, now want to change their position.
"I am not a Liberal!" ... almost like
"I did not vote for the NSDAP!"

Sorry no, baby. You still own the stinky mess you made.

Thanks. I am also unreliable to have around pointed sticks.

That must be true then. As soon as there is a gun around, it makes me want to kill.

Is not part of their beliefs in the first place, but eye for an eye and tooth for tooth. Or as some might also say, and doubly thereunto. Muslims are the same. Indeed, both are technically 'semites'. Only christians uphold forgiveness and mercy as a core foundational belief. Thanks to that your free to complain about things. Just remember, don't invite wolves into your house. Our society is a safe haven as long as we keep it this way.

In a way they are polar opposites, but I will give credit where due. In Trump's case, banning mandatory CRT training for federal employees is an example of the fight against wokism. Where Biden brought that immediately back in. Biden and Trudeau are much more closely aligned. They are the front face of wokism. Now find me a politician, Canadian or American, that openly opposes this wokism. Will be a short list, I'll wager. And Trump's name will be on it.

Haha. Well, I won't be inviting you on my team with that kind of attitude... Are we goalie perhaps? -
Money does not create exploitation, people do. Just like guns, do not kill...

Is the left who are bringing them in large numbers without providing a realistic opportunity, that's creating this mess. Your obsession with MAGA types is misguided, they are not bringing this. In fact they would want the opposite, get them out. At the very least, bring them in a way that is sensible. What we are doing is irresponsible and will harm the refugees, and us. Thanks almost singularly to Canada's "Golden Boy", not Trump...

My comment was that the federal government is now including a review and statement on gender equity impacts when they publish a new directive or regulation. In the past this section mainly discussed the impact of a new directive on indigenous peoples. Now they have added the transgender section. Seems to me the whole topic of gender equity, by that meaning primarily TRANSGENDER equity, not women's equity, is being pushed on the public by the federal liberals. Complete with funding for companies who play along. Such as the "values test" the government demanded for employers to be eligible for summer student wage subsidy. https://globalnews.ca/news/4732603/canada-summer-jobs-attestation-change/amp/

And those "people" are the federal government. Even now in my line of work, when we receive an email or new government directive, it seems there must now be a section titled "Gender Equity" in these. Even though the rest of the information is entirely non-gender related, technical and regulatory material. This newly added paragraph is out of place but quite obviously part of this federal government's obsession with gender identity values.
