  1. What disturbs me most is that all she did was say a few things. Where does one draw the line in what they are "allowed" to say? It seems like a random and arbitrary punishment. Was that written into some sort of agreement before she signed on? Because otherwise, maybe she can sue their asses. That is what it's going to take to stop these people, they have to be defeated in the courts.
  2. It's pretty benign compared to other substances even alcohol, which is a known carcinogen and toxic at some level of consumption. But to think marijuana is safe or harmless is a mistake. I'm not sure about cognitive development. I guess it depends on the person. However have heard about heart issues such as arrhythmia as well as psychological issues. It affects those who are already a little shaky, can take them over the cliff. Now I see they were talking about the idea of banning tobacco outright. This is rather silly. Both New Zealand and the U.K. started working on a generational smoking ban, which would prevent anyone born after Jan. 1, 2009 from buying cigarettes legally. This law would basically raise the legal smoking age by one year every year until it applies to the whole population. New Zealand was the first country to pass this kind of ban last December, in addition to passing legislation that reduces the nicotine content in cigarettes and reduced the number of retailers who could sell the product by 90 per cent. Should Canada ban smoking tobacco? Sorry for the off-topic but is just an interesting contrast to the former situation. I remember hiding from the cops a few times as a teenager. Now people smoke pot openly in the street, and blow it right in cops' faces. While you illegal tobacco smokers? Round them up... miscreants...
  3. Not to worry fella. There's an unlimited supply of government koolaid to slake you're thirst.
  4. Nonsense, they could save a lot of money by cutting a swath through the pristine Boreal forest. Ain't that pristine no more anyway. Cut down some more of them trees, drain that wetland, See that swamp with the moose in it there? Fill it in with rocks and then cover with concrete. There's yer modern transport, low carbon transportation. "Progressive". "Efficient". "Green technology".
  5. I would never eat such disgusting dross but maybe they could eat themselves... I heard they do that for chickens now anyway. Kill all the white ones first.
  6. Obviously it gives you some sort of a clue. I'm not saying which kind. but doesn't work for me. Maybe you can move some Bedouns into your bedroom.
  7. Sounds horrific. So the sky really IS falling. How will we make grains grow, so that little chickens can have their food?
  8. I'm more of a "Rothschilds vs other rich sons o bittches" believer, and that the war of 5 key countries, the superpowers, is the driving force behind all major historical events from about 1400 or so up till now. We are mere cogs in a machine. Not even. Oh well. Pass me another beer, Aggie...
  9. Is that the best you have to contribute? I guess it's what we've learned to expect from you.
  10. The west made a mess of things in Europe and the middle east. Now them chickens is coming home to roost boobylein.
  11. If that's your theory, sounds zaney. I'm more like, take advantage of every situation to control the message. How you doin? Been to movies lately?
  12. I am trying to figure out the root causes that lead to the messed up place we find ourselves in today. How's you're day goin?
  13. Oh yeah, forgot how this info may hurt those of English descent, esp. if of the "sensitive persuasion."
  14. Yeah but well timed to take focus off Ukraine, just as USA EU start making peace noises. Wouldn't want you people to get distracted by things like that.
  15. Criticism of Israel should not be confused with antisemitism however.
  16. Yes it's true. How far back would you like to go? I suggest give the region back to the Ottoman Turks. Things were quiet then for 400 hundred years. Jews were allowed to live in peace. Then along came the British and the French with their superpower weaponry to carve up the region in WW1. The same people who are from the historical, ancestrally antisemitic regions of the EU and who've brought us to where we are today.
  17. No doubt Putin is having a field day, every day, with the on-goings in this country and elsewhere in the west. Canada giving a Nazi a standing ovation in the HOC. The obvious antisemitism being openly expressed by some on the left, while leaders give empty lip-service scoldings to what is actually a hate crime on the books. In contrast to the conflict towards state/parent/ child relations, liberal value indoctrination, we are what Putin would call perverse nation. And he may be right... Should not be a problem to rally up men to enlist in the fight against western fascism and the illiberal decadence we've become.
  18. Hate crime unit investigating vandalism in Toronto.

"It is absolutely appalling to see this targeting of an Indigo store and its Jewish founder and CEO in a vile antisemitic attack. The fact that it occurred on the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, when thousands of Jewish businesses were vandalized and destroyed in a Nazi-led pogrom in Germany and Austria just before the Holocaust, makes it even more painful to witness. He did make condemning statements toward Israel yesterday. Coming from the PM, it essentially fans the flames of antisemitism.

It’s antisemitic to criticize the nation of Israel?

Israel is a country, Jews are not Israel. Same for Hamas, is a group. Palestinians are not all for Hamas.

But there are plenty of not-so-smart people out there who don't know that, and who react out of ignorance. That's why we now have the bomb threats, firebombings and hateful graffiti and personal attacks in the street.

  19. Perhaps the US Biden admin can help Israelis "build a wall"?
  20. Antisemitism in the region we now call Europe goes back for thousands of years. You have summarized the history nicely. Thank you for doing that, because the more we know the truth the better we understand the reason why things are as they are now. Due to the occupation of Jerusalem by the Roman Empire, Jews were permitted to travel and live anywhere within it. Except for actual Rome of course. Kind of like EU today. They fled into Europe and then the history of antisemitism as you gave follows. But the Roman experiment in multiculturalism failed, as separated groups compete and identify primarily by race. It ironically increases racism. Where a monoculture, while arguably less free, eradicates the problem by replacing "race" with "nation".
  21. Poor little herbie doesn't get it. I was gonna say the same thing but I kinda gave up. Today is be nice to those with autism spectrum disorder day. But hey, if he or anyone wants to go buy an overpriced vehicle that has sub-par performance, especially in winter, let him go on. Fill yer boots, lads. The got the new Tesla with wind-up rubber band coming out.
  22. The Boss: "I tried to get you more money. I really did." Only to find out he did the opposite. Screw you, cheesedick. ?
  23. You know when the media gets quiet in a war... something is wrong. The generals aren't crowing about victory anymore.
  24. Which is exactly how we like it, and how it should be. 'Nuther good one, although not in Quebec I thought I'd mention it. Due to the irony... "A Los Angeles film screening organized by Gal Gadot that showed footage from the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel turned into a brawl as police responded to calls after multiple fights broke out at the Museum of Tolerance Wednesday night." Fists fly at Gal Gadot's Los Angeles screening showing Hamas attack in Israel
