United Church Affirms Support for Trans Youth
OftenWrong replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Religion & Politics
It feels generated alright, especially in that Canada legalized gay marriage decades ago, and the United Church has allowed gay pastors since 1992. I can cite that if you have a problem. In fact being gay was a dull and boring issue before this latest Tranny revolution was blessed upon us. Attendance at gay pride parades has been dropping for years. Folks are like, "Gay? Oh well. Zzzzz..." and not paying them much attention anymore. And maybe, THAT'S the only real problem! -
Ahh Richeliue, at last. Who actually made the country get allt orn up? Who incited, who misbehaved. During that four years of media madness, while we watched aghast up here in the north, which political leaders encouraged violence by BLM et al? Our own local BLM even did the same, and were encouraged to by our local liberals. There were so many faked and hyped political scandals generated by the coordinated press, it spun liberals heads round and round. I remember them all. Right from Hillary cheating on the debate questions. Total downfall, the real liars outed. And just like liars do, accuse you of doing what they are exactly doing. If you don't remember it all clearly, is your problem. A lack of memory and poor attention span is a hallmark of the left. So beware

Show me who has that. Let's see who is principled and blameless. Who may cast the first stone. You can't. Or else, you're idealistic mini-skirt is showing, dear. Yes Virginia, the world is a very mean ugly place. Has been for thousands of years. Tousands and tousands. Does that mean I approve and like it? No. Only I came to take your Santa Claus away...

Not true. They don't like his rudeness. But most of all, his HAIR. And they know who they really are... -

"Seeing" yourself doesn't need to be always about skin colour. Was she even 'white' before? I never knew. What about 'Snow White'? -
Yeah I know, you and MH too. You guys musta went to the same high school, or somethin. What is tearing the country apart? The Dems when Trump was president, or the Dems after Trump was president? I'd like to hear you explain that, Mr. twaddle. No you can't. There is not one sensible voice out there, who is willing to call these people what they really are. A bunch of cultural marxists who are on a sucide mission and taking everyone else for the ride. Now, you wanna stay on that train, see you later. But I say there is nothing gonna fix this shit except for someone just like Trump. That is, someone loud and obnoxious, repugnant to you latter sippers. That's right, bring us the Ugly American.

Polievre's new billboard ads - simple but damn effective

Says here the CPC had major plans to make improvements to Canada's fisheries. Under Sheer at least. https://cpcassets.conservative.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/05104904/8ae41a668e9a570.pdf But that ship has sailed, thanks to a lack of support from you people. Maybe if you didn't make so much fun of conservatives all the time, things might actually get done, eh? -
Yep, behold history. Read about how yankee doodle is now choking on the cost and not interested in another multi-billion transfer. I guess even freedom, liberty and democracy has a price. Sorry, dead Uke's. We was only kidding... 🤪

Sounds like presidential material. The people of Iowa don't seem to have a problem. Nominated 'resoundingly'. As in a sound. Do you hear that sound? is the sound of a liberal weeping. Trump is popular because you people have made such a helluva mess. They've simply had enough of the nonsense. You people need to be bittch-slapped back to common sense. That's why fall on your swords liberalism die in a fire

Hmm, so the casing costs $50k to replace? Or else, it can't be replaced separately because it's integral to the battery itself. Tomato, tomatoe Someone get him a lawyer. -
The poor fellow only sees Hitler wherever he goes... we are all Hitlers now. Or at least 'little Eichmanns', perhaps. And that's what I'm talking about. It's a reference to Sept 11. Once you understand the big picture you start to see that the West is also run by brutal thugs, and some of them are elected. We the people support our right to defend ourselves, which to some people also means our right to blow the hell out of peasants with bandy-legs, in order to assert regional supremacy. And that's how little Hitlers gets made. So there's another faction, just like in the US during both world wars. Who the hell are we to tell other people how to solve their regional problems? Why should we jump in and spend our money and lives on their tangled weave, which they created for themselves? That's also part of US exceptionalism. "US boys should not fight in a war, that Asian boys should be fighting, for THEMSELVES". But then there needs to be a time when you do step in, whenever it reaches a level it could affect you. That's why the US did eventually enter the war, though perhaps unwillingly. In delaying entry and finishing off the Huns, USA became the top superpower. Which is why Trump is against them diving in and involving themselves. The US should not need to. Not obligated to. Democrats played the opposite and have now exhausted the funding. The well is dry, sorry folks. Now the Ukraine can go up the river Jordan. .... "Checkmate" - Vlad Putin

How will Trannys fight on the battlefield, if their wigs keep comin' off? It's unconscionable...

I think the bigger issue beyond paying is that there could be a tendency to use MAID as an alternative to our absolutely shit health care system. That, and now moving to grant permission for self-euthanasia for people who are depressed make it all too 'convenient' to offer people suicide instead of meaningful care. I read that other countries who are considering implementing MAID are now looking to Canada, and in their debates point to Canada as "how not to do it" for this very reason.

Exactly. The decline of religion and rise of atheism.

US suspends military aid to Ukraine

I know. Because I am a nice guy. I may complain a little, but I can also be patient. I raised kids ... -
I see it as a psychological war upon us from China. I cannot prove that, but it makes the most sense based on my assessment of history of the superpowers. We are under attack, and the internet is the weapon or medium being used. And now with the advent of AI, they can come up with all sorts of psychological goodies, to keep you people's heads spinning totally round-and-round.

OftenWrong replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I guess at this point am not interested in explaining things to you. You've been a little too obtuse for me these days. You don't even read entire posts sometimes before replying. Mainly I see no point explaining my position to you on China. Has nothing at all to do with what I said before. I can criticize warmongers in their rush to war from all sides. Is not a zero-sum game. You probably didn't even know about the US and UK bombing Yemen in a fairly major operation the other day. Inching the world ever closer to WW3. Now simply takes Taiwan to make an aggressive move, which they did by electing a pro-US anti-China PM the other other day. Which is part of the reason I lumped them together when I said "the US and UK". It was a reference to what's going on out there. But then you probably won't even read this part... -

Why do you ask? Is this about me again? Who cares who I "align with". Try posting on topic for discussions. or at least make your point a bit more clearly. -
Exactly. The situation is complex and also has a history. Is not just black and white here, as simple-minded folk may think. The most obvious knee-jerkers react to what's in front of them. They don't know what is esoteric. Just string on a carrot, pull them along to any corner of the states desire for them to believe. In other words, this is chess, not checkers. We can rant all day about bad ole people in the world who don't love us. We can even start wars. Endless wars. Really, the war never ended, just we live in a secure bubble. We barely get to hear about our own country's military endeavours out in the world. The news about Yemen is way down at the bottom of the scroll, far below news about how bad the weather is in Canada. Sure sounds like George Orwell to me. That guy had the future pegged, to a "T". Which should be obvious, but for the fact some of these people do not even READ BOOKS. Hence, they can only follow the carrot. And once you take that carrot away, they get scared. They see the world-view they believed in has suddenly vanished. Like someone pulling the rug out. Shhh... do not awaken the blissful, sleeping babes...

Yep. That and colonialism. Mr. White is enjoying his privileges.

Didn't see where China is involved here, other than they've been supplying the Rus with ammo. Do let us know if you have a point about China, somehow. -

You put your eggs in one basket, then start crying now that they're all broken. No, much worser. You put "faith" in the superpowers USA and UK. Now they have pulled the rug out from under you. There's so many wise old sayings that can apply here, the list goes on and on. Obviously not well read, and didn't listen to mommy much. Beware a drownin man.
