  1. I thought this was identified as primarily transmitted by sexual contact. People who are promiscuous. People who go to sex parties. Hence... monkey pox.
  2. Power outage in ON. Apparently those with EV's cannot charge their vehicles, so have to stay home.

Me? I'ma get the hell out of here.

This references the fact that petroleum etc is easily sequesterable, but electricity is not.

Energy is security. Will be more and more important in the future.

That’s why the US has a “Strategic Petroleum Reserve”.

Meanwhile you people go piss around with your little batteries. See how far you get, when the lights finally go out.

Honestly if the power goes out. My forms of transportation will be the least of my worries.

This line of reasoning is a red herring. Your computer won't work either when the lights go out.

Also, Gasoline just doesn't come from the ground. Crude Oil does and requires labour intensive refining. The supply of Gasoline will quickly dry up if the tankers stop coming.

The real solution to having electricity available after civilization collapses is expanded use of Solar and wind power. If every room had a solar panel, you could be completely self sufficient.

  3. So, way better than Forum Chivato then.
  4. But more than forum chivato in that it's official, and you probably get paid a little.
  5. Yeah. I meant Peter Mackay is the devil. But anyway same same. I'm saying leadership is a thing. People recognize it when they see it. A party is merely a vehicle for that person. Looking at the political scene in Canada right now, there are no leaders among them. Or rather, when one does arise, the others attack them from all sides. Just like the weak, cowardly dogs they all are. And you people go on and keep voting for them... looks good on yas. After the covid debacle, it all makes sense. I calculated a 90-95% ratio of dumbasses to intelligent men. Therefore bring on the next premier to save the peoples. Save us, from ourselves...
  6. Excluding the former federal Progressive Conservatives of course. Their followers are a people without a party. You want to lament the problem of conservatism in Canada? Yes, you are right, conservatives have failed Canadians. But how did we get here? In other words, who killed the Tory party. Certain names come to mind. Mulroney's scandals laid them open for criticism and rejection in the laissez faire poltical moment of the day, then along came these same Western Conservatives. These are people who keep blankets, with holes in them. You'll figure it out... And let's not forget Joe Clarke, signed the political death warrant. Stockwell Day is the serpent who whispered in his ear. Coins of silver, and more gold than you can imagine... These traitors sold the very hide of conservatism. But Stephen Harper showed a new way. He showed it was still possible to get the ship under control again. Wrest away the helm from these fools, lest we all go under with them. Why, because he was a leader. I don't know about you people but I'll take a leader, even a liberal one, over this ship of fools any day. Jason Kenney is soon to be unemployed. He needs to do the DoFo thing. Step into the federal party leadership race. Enter late, be the upstart. Eclipse Poivierre and the other fools. They are a lost cause. Then rocket all the way to the top. Most of all, to hell with these frenchmen.
  7. I'm glad that everyone is not a liberal these days. Despite that we all know who would win if an election were held today. Even if you do get Poivierre. Because leftists, whether they call themselves a liberal or not, all follow the herd instinct. Political mootivation raises it's head once again. Meanwhile on the right comes the impulse to have less government. Individual rights trumps government, as they say.
  8. Which conservatives Oh you mean the white rose types. Westerners. Church going oil barons. Beef raising, proselytizing marlboro men. Albertans are about as dumb as Candians get. They think they’ll now find something better. I’ll give him credit for stepping down when he could have insisted on staying, like some dirty sock wearing liberal would do. Why anyone would want to lead such a herd of brutal mindless cattle is beyond me.
  9. Yep. You liberals have done a fine job.
  10. Tucker has the right to be angry. If I were living in the US I'd be pretty pissed off. Weird how they see Tucker Carlson as an angry and shallow hater, but not Don LeMonz. Actually I learn more about the real problems going on in US when I watch him than on most other coverage. Elsewhere we get a long debate on abortion, and stuff.
  11. I used to laugh at Tucker when he was a young, pencil-necked geek on CNN. Now he’s an old, pencil-necked geek on Fox. I agree he’s the best out there, whatever he is. And that ain’t saying much, against a backdrop of totally bought media that surrounds us on all sides. Oh the times we live in... where people can say anything on a platform, and the world has embraced the golden cow. Nothing but political mootivation.
  12. Can't easily say what. The original post does not define what they mean either, so I am off the hook. We are made having two, distinct parallel processors. One is fine-tunes for reason, logic, and words. The other is all about abstraction and the big picture. Perhaps having a soul is when you are able to reconcile the two. I recently watched an interesting documentary, "The Divided Brain". I think the first 20 minutes or so of it are so important, every human being should watch it.
  13. Yes I do. It's a little thing called introspection. You really should try it some time...
  14. Naturally you and I are only allowed to consume the media that big-power will allow. If they want to promote Liberal, it’s just a matter of not giving the other side a rational voice. Only show them as nutjobs. Crazy, irrational. Dangerous. My opinion: If you believe in this system, you people are all being duped.
  15. There is plenty to be criticized without invoking Hitler. But if that is what you people consider to be the main voice against our PM... fill one’s boots
  16. While we bicker over abortion that nobody really needed to talk about, the economic divide increases. Social discord is being sown by media outlets almost as if on purpose. One can only conclude, there must be good money in it.
  17. Not me. I'm talking about more than that, anyways. Generational dumbness is a concern. Despite everything, we may be dumber on average than previous generations. Dumb means less knowledgeable about math, science and literature. The perceived disparity between "races" in math for example is an illusion. It only appears when you take a racist view yourself. That's not to say the problem doesn't exist. Yes there are a disproportionate number of black students who do not do well in math. Assuming the reason must be that math programs are racist is false dichotomy. In other words wrong, dumb. In my opinion. There is still racism in Canada, in my opinion. And everywhere for that matter. It is a natural reaction of humans to identify with those who are similar, in their family, village or town. .... What's your problem?
  18. Conservative people

Now hear this, now hear this

    The liberal is using abortion

    as muscle against you

    1. scribblet

      scribblet

Pretty disgusting to use women as a political tool, but when as that ever stopped them.   Monday night, you could almost hear the corks being popped in the PMO

    2. sharkman

      sharkman

Yep.  But people will forget all about this(except extremists) once the stock market comes into line with the true economic picture. And the petro dollar model is discarded.

    3. sharkman

      sharkman

Russia has abandoned the US as petro dollar, as has India and Poland, and a few others when paying Russia for their oil.

Last week the CIA head made a secret visit to Saudi Arabia(who won’t take Biden’s calls).  There will be plenty of things this summer to take the US public’s attention off of Roe v Wade.  Just saying’.

  19. Mr. Trudeau solidifies his position as PM with his liberal/ ndp coalition.

    Transparency

    Sunny ways

He also dances with the devil in the pale moonlight...

  20. So, you are ill then?
  21. Yeah but it can be fun. Most of these binary thinking dunderheads ain’t gonna discuss no essence anyway, no matter what you tell ‘em. So I say feed ‘em more of what they want, and let them believe whatever it is they need to believe. Then they’ll all sleep better at night. Do not disturb
  22. How about this, users can choose their own level of free speech. Level 1- Safe Space. The most restrictive level, for young urban snowflakes. Level 2- medium safety, for normal people. etc.. Level 5- Law of the West. Wide open, no holds barred Yeehah
