  1. The liberals announced they will now refer to COVID-19 as our "viral brothers".

  2. Perhaps the main differences are O'Toole seems a lot less shallow, narcissistic, smug and self-serving, and he and his party are a lot less obsessed with identity politics and a lot more likely to be careful about spending us into the poor house.

  3. Trump was not “hunting them like dogs”. Trump is the one who made a peace deal with them and started the plans to withdraw. I don’t blame you for not remembering that, the GOP is quickly deleting that from history The RNC deleted a webpage hailing Trump's Taliban deal as fighters swept Afghanistan, but says it was part of routine web maintenance The Republican National Committee removed a webpage hailing President Donald Trump's peace deal with the Taliban. But it said it was done not to distance itself from the policy in response to the militant group's seizing power, but as part of routine web maintenance. The webpage, which was first posted on the Republican National Committee's website during last year's presidential election, hailed Trump's foreign-policy achievements. An archived version of the page can be found here. Wayback Machine, an internet-archive site, said the page was removed on August 15, as chaotic scenes emerged from Kabul of US forces evacuating officials from its embassy as Taliban militants seized control of the country. … The page had praised Trump's attempts to end the US's two-decade military involvement in Afghanistan. It described how Trump "continued to take the lead in peace talks as he signed a historic peace agreement with the Taliban in Afghanistan, which would end America's longest war." The page referred to a February 2020 conditional peace dealbetween Trump and the Taliban, which committed the US to cutting the number of troops in Afghanistan if the Taliban did not provide support to terrorist groups. The page went on to say that Trump's rival, presidential candidate Joe Biden, had a "history of pushing for endless wars," and it listed the times he had called for more troops to be deployed in Afghanistan. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/gop-removes-page-hailing-trump-taliban-deal-2021-8%3famp Regardless of the fact that withdrawal from Afghanistan was warranted, it’s pretty difficult to believe that it couldn’t have been planned and executed better. And at the very least if the chaos we’re seeing now was in fact inevitable and unavoidable as some are claiming, then the Biden admin should have been honest and upfront about it beforehand.

  5. What's the point? Are you kidding? Do you really have to ask that? ? At least............ we're getting rid of a PM who's been PROVEN to be incompetent! If you keep selling the idea O'Toole is a "clone" of Trudeau - then, either you're just a paid Trudeau spinner delegated to forums - or, you don't know what you're on about. Just look at their hair! ? Kidding aside..... You should listen to what O'Toole has been saying. That's the only way you'll understand why though he is progressive, he's not a clone of Trudeau.

  6. Lol - so, that must be why O'Toole's going up in the polls! Liberals must see him thru liberal lenses. ? O'Toole has managed to grab the centrist position, I think. if a Liberal feels that way - then he's more likely to want to try a different liberal flavor this time around. ? Only a Trudeau fan will want to stick to the same bs all over again. Seeing how easily he batted and answered journalists' questions - I'm so interested to see him on debate night. Me? I don't have any false illusion that hard times aren't coming - thanks to the deficits ran by Trudeau. All I want is to have a different PM to steer us through the difficult times ahead.

  7. Or they knew all about the social problems their shutdowns would create, but didn’t give a ****. Money is what really matters. Thats why they arent investing in anything like more covid treatment facilities. That doesn’t stop them from virtue signalling about how wonderful they are, with the hair and the smiles and weeping for causes de jour, that some punk tweeted and went viral, but all that noble effort is just hot air. .... Like my pappy said, These people think their crap don’t stink, but their farts give them away.

  8. Some new polling. Not sure if this is a trend or an outlier. I don’t think anything matters much until the debates.

  11. Do you mean like, "Cheating on an election multiple times, still losing, and then colluding with Russians for fake intel to use for a fake investigation into whether or not their opponent colluded with Russians, where their FBI sycophants breaks laws but still can't manage to fabricate enough evidence to advance their fake collusion?" That almost never happens.

  12. "Can I get a side of fiasco with my McDebacle." Cashier: "Supersize?" "Do you have 'epic', or 'generational'?" Cashier: "Do you mean Biden-sized, sir?" "yeah" In all honesty, they just need to keep their pants down and take whatever's coming, because anything that Biden does will just make things worse.

  13. LMAO. Like what, for example? There are 200,000 illegal immigrants being apprehended at the border now. Do you know how expensive that is compared to a wall? The US just handed over $83B in weapons to the Talis. The US just had their second major terrorist attack against them since Biden has been Prez. There was only 1 in 4 years under Trump. Violent crime, gun crime and murders are spiking in almost every major US city. The US is such a dumpster fire right now that no one is even talking about homelessness or Fentanyl deaths. Wrong. The fact that the US is there and the fact that Biden turned the withdrawal into the biggest fiasco in US military history are two entirely separate issues. It's a dumpster fire. You don't have to wait until it's put out to see if it was a dumpster fire. The only thing that's happening right now is that things are going from worstest to worstestest (and to think that my English is still better than Biden's). They were dormant while Trump was hunting their leaders like dogs. No one was advertising their location and plans while Trump was POTUS. Now they're making friends with China and talking to the POTUS like he's their naughty child. Sounds a lot like: "They were able to execute their plans quite quickly as soon as Biden took over." Because it's the exact same, and totally true.

  14. getting every y American out will be a challenge as not all of them are registered with the embassy etc. The Taliban is unpredictable , volatile and trigger happy. They need to get their equipment out too. They seem to be moving big numbers out now with flights leaving every thirty minutes. getting to the airport is the challenge. Someone certainly underestimated the skills and ability of the Taliban........... as the speed with which this changed is rather astonishing. But then they don't play by any rules............except what is expedient for them. So, what is the best case scenario?? There will be years of post mortems on this one.. (Don't think that Biden will run again.........;-)

  15. Believe it or not, Trudeau senior, PM PIerre E. Trudeau of Canada was one of the first western leaders to reach out to the Communist China regime of Chairman Mao, after and while millions had died in the revolution and Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, and recognize them and establish diplomatic relations in 1970. Then in 2019, Canada's minister of Defence, Harjit Sajjin, attended a Chinese Benevolent Society dinner in Vancouver celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Communist Revolution/People's Republic of China. Another Liberal cabinet minister and a Senator even made a business trip to China while the two Michael's were being held hostage. There is a photo of them lounging around and dining in a outdoor patio in China while the two Michaels suffer in prisons with lights on 24-7. Nothing surprises me about Liberals.

  17. Trudeau already gave a taliban terrorist $10.5M, in case you forgot. The NDP leader also exclaimed to the world that "Khadr has more class than the whole CPC combined". I didn't say that he'd give money to the Tali "just because", but he will find an excuse to send money there just to fool his legion of idiots.

  18. what point is there to getting Trudeau out of power if a Trudeau clone is the only viable replacement? there is none voting for the blue liberals doesn't make you any better than those voting for the red liberals it is pointless virtue signalling

  19. switching from Erin Trudeau to Justin O'Toole is not a real change or a meaningful change he's a liberal who calls himself a conservative, there is no substantive difference between the two, just superficial ones O'Toole's plan is Trudeau's plan, so the fact that he has a plan, is a negative not a positive there will be no difference in the way Canada is governed, regardless of the election outcome O'Toole doesn't give a shit about all Canadians, he just pretends to, to get elected falling for politicians who feign empathy to win votes, a classic sign of naive wishful thinking obvious fake opposition is fake, wearing different gang colors and identifying by a different label, that is not change
