Well it does reveal that the OP is all about politics as a board game for vindictive and Petty people who love to see the types they despise in pain and sadness. But what will be remarkable is how badly they are beaten. Eventually every government falls, that is the way of things. But they lose by a bit and then they have the opportunity to rebuild. But in this case I suspect that the liberals aren't just going to lose, they're going to be crushed. They may not even be the second party, they may not even be the third party. They may be hurt so badly that it takes them another decade or two just to become competitive again, if they don't collapse altogether. The last time that happened they had Justin in their back pocket and were able to sort of pull it out of the fire but he is now yet again pulling as the worst prime minister in the history of Canada and people will not forget that soon. Which means if the liberals are reduced to 20 or 30 seats they are going to have one hell of a time to try and fight their way back. So it isn't just that Poilievre will win. It's that it's very likely that the liberals will be utterly crushed, and the NDP probably won't do well either. Which means that the CPC will have eight, possibly 12 years to undo all of the crap that the liberals did both economically and socially and drive the walk into the ground. See you next election
