  1. I'm actually shocked that yesterday seems to have put the nail in Trumpism. He's as toxic as it gets right now. Good on him.

  2. It's clear that the line was drawn in the sand in the aftermath of the attempted coup by Trump supporters on the Capitol. You either favor democracy, or you favor fascism. There is no middle ground at all, going forward.

  4. We Canadians expect the US to protect us . . . . then we endlessly criticize them on every front. We're a bunch of self-righteous virtue signalers. Other folks laugh at us. We have the cretin we deserve. This country's fucked.

  11. ??? America's greatest president was Abraham Lincoln....he had the last "civil war". Just another POTUS...maybe Biden can declare the "Trumpers" as a separate nation within a nation...you know....like Canada does with Quebec.

  14. We did not need 713 pages of narrative to know the obvious. America under president Trump is a banana republic. To be able to achieve the events of today it takes two components: a large amount of monkeys and a Planet of the Apes leader to guide them. America has both!

  15. So what the hysterics of Progdom seem to want us to believe is the hundreds of thousands of attendees at the Washington rally were called by Trump to riot like a horde of Antifa and BLMers. Not true. Trump has called supporters to many rallies and they actually were what the liars of the left call their rioters and looters. Trump rally supporters really always are "mostly peaceful." Today tens if not hundreds of thousands of Patriots came to support the President and let the world know they don't believe they can still trust american elections. A small group of radicals (much smaller than what typically loots and vandalizes cities in the name of the left) broke off from the main group and broke into the building where the electoral college votes were being presented. A woman among the group was shot in the neck. This is her: https://heavy.com/news/ashli-babbit/ Her name is Ashli Babbit. She's an air force veteran from San Diego. So does that mean that all among the tens to hundreds of thousands who were at that Washington rally were QAnon? No more than it suggests they were all air force veterans or from San Diego. A rally was organized in Washington to support the President and call for fair elections. Trump invited supporters to come just as he had done at hundreds of "mostly peaceful" rallies before this one. Go ahead Beave, do what you do. Do this and tell us that isn't what happened.

  16. Huh? Only leftists support rioting, tearing down statues, looting, arson, racial violence and murders in the name of [insert fake cause here]. Leftist news: "The protests were mostly peaceful. They happened right there, in that smoking 7-square block wasteland with the dead bodies in it. All hail the cause."

  17. Obama was a first class dog whistler who fear mongered police and stoked racial division at every turn. He said nary a word to discourage rioting, and as soon as it sprung up again in 2020 him and his stanky wife started pushing racial division and fear mongering police again. Again, you're the liar. This is getting old Beave.

  21. I think Trump burned his bridges with a lot of Republicans today. House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., slammed President Trump Wednesday following an afternoon of unrest at the U.S. Capitol that saw at least one woman shot and killed. "What is important is to recognize we just had a violent mob assault the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to prevent us from carrying out our constitutional duty," Cheney told "Special Report" host Bret Baier. "There is no question that the president formed the mob. The president incited the mob, the president addressed the mob. This is what America is not." Cheney went on to call on Trump to take responsibility for the unrest and claimed he is "abusing the trust" of his supporters. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/liz-cheney-trump-intolerable-conduct-incited-mob

  22. Really? You want to do the racist thing? That black/latino leader of the Proud Boys...what a racist, eh? I hear Georgian Democrat, Vernon Jones has quit the Democrat party and joined the Republican party in objection to all the election fraud coming from the Dem side of the aisle. But I guess in Beave World that would make him a racist, would it? And I'm sure it doesn't bother you that back here in reality this is Vernon Jones: I

  23. I'm sure Trump's antics harmed them in Georgia. Not to mention one of the major purveyors of the 'fraud' theory was telling Republicans not to vote because it would be a fraud anyway. I don't think the two senators involved helped their cause either by joining him in his statements about fraud and demanding the Georgia secretary of state resign - as if he'd done something wrong by not cheating. I don't think a lot of Georgia Republicans were happy at Trump's attack on the Republican Georgia governor either.

  24. I believe I've spoken out against all of that, and against the spineless cowardice of the Democratic municipal governments and governors quite often. I would have had these people arrested and shipped out to some kind of farm where they could pick cotton or apples for a year or two. Because I'm a law and order conservative. I want order in the streets. And it doesn't matter a damn whether the rioters are from the far left or far right. They need to be dealt with and dragged off to prison cells.

  26. I prefer getting information from multiple sources, Poodle Boy. FOX and CNN both, along with the major networks, Al Jazeera, the BBC and Euronews. Seen a lot of interviews with Republican politicians who are furious, including Mitch McConnel and House minority leader Kevin McCarthy. At least one person has been shot and at least one IED has been found. Maryland and Virginia national guard are on their way. And it looks like much of the support for Trump is vaporizing among sane people. The terrorists currently occupying the Capital will be dealt with.

  29. I can't imagine the US state and local politics subgroups will get much attention. There just aren't enough Americans here, and most Canadians aren't much interested. I would like a 'General" group in there somewhere for stuff which doesn't really fit elsewhere. Based on experience and what I've seen elsewhere, groups for gifs and for political cartoons/memes would be popular. Also, a group specifically for the culture wars might not be a bad idea, however it's titled. I don't think that's a topic going away any time soon.
