It’s getting ridiculous now doing google searches. If you google something obvious like “police killed during 2020 riots” you get a virtual goose-egg regarding the requested subject matter. You do get all sorts of info about police killing people, and GF, and the riots. Google is in the business of editorializing history now. It’s fascism, just like when Antifa attacks people for reporting on their crimes.

What language is just as bad - as an example? My concern is with the growing intolerance for differing opinion, the growing sense among the activist left that words they don't like constitute 'violence', and that they need to be defended from such violence. The fact that Stockwell Day can't even say that he didn't see systemic racism in Canada without being ousted from all his paying jobs as if he's some kind of evil person who must be shunned speaks volumes on just what lack of acceptance there is for anyone daring to oppose the Left's social views. The left has decided that all their views are virtuous, and all views which differ are sinful and vile. There is no room for a difference of opinion. It is all about morality. You either agree with the Left or you're immoral and bad.

I am still amazed that with all of the Joe Biden and his son's affairs with the Ukraine, and the Quid Pro Quo that this bumbling idiot was involved in, how the hell is he still able to run for President? I disagree. I suggest you and hubby watch it again. The first cop had decided to arrest the chief. He grabbed his wrist and the chief was pulling back and cursing him. The second cop came rushing in and "tackled" the chief (not smashed him in the face), bringing him to the ground, which is standard police tactics for a suspect who is resisting arrest. The chief brought it on himself.

This is not left or right. The fact is every human has biases intentional and unintentional which can lead to selective treatment perceived as unfair. I think the videos are far too subjective to be effective. I hate the word systemic. It is a meaningless word. Anything with more than 1 is systemic. I cringe when I hear it. I have to go back to anyone who claims discrimination to identify it and then explain what they would do to address it. That would be helpful.

You are not. Police are not taught to stand by passively while a civilian initiates a move to invade another police officer's safety zone and then resist arrest. They err on the side of caution. In a situation like that a gun or weapon can be grabbed off the police officer to kill him or once close attack is initiated it may be too late to prevent harm. In this case the police officers acted as per their training. The only infraction was the intervenor using the term phacking . The Chief actually should be charged we with disorderly conduct, assault uttering a threat. This was a routine stop forcing expired plate. Chief Adam over-reacted. Had he stayed in the car, they might have only given a warning on the expired plate. All the people filming I guarantee you won't have the full episode. One of the reasons the police car is parked as it was is to enable the car camera to record the stop. The only reason this is in the news is because of Floyd. Now in every incident of any will have everyone comparing 8t and claiming 8tsxanother Floyd if the person detained is non white. This trivializes what happened to Floyd and other issues of abuse. Most people have no clue shat a safety zone is or whatbhappenxcshdn you penetrate it.

Lately, I'm hearing the 2 sides described as those who believe in equality of opportunity versus those who believe in equality of outcome. The opportunity guys are about the rights of the individual and the belief they can decide what's best for them and theirs better than the government. That's not to say there shouldn't be any government but ideally no more than you need to keep a society functioning and anything more grudgingly. You can find what likes to be called classic liberals and what I'll call call classic conservatives on this side. And these two groups might not agree on everything but they can talk to each other. The equality of outcome guys believe in order to keep things fair equality has to be managed. More government is how you do it. And there doesn't seem to be a limit. This is where you find the "Progressives." The thing about 'Progressives' is they aren't actually progressive. Some classic liberals call them the 'regressive left'. I'm not sure that's accurate because you'll see them infiltrating and attempting to hijack both classic sides. Self identifying progressives don't actually fit the definition of politically "progressive" as commonly defined. If you'd like to see what I mean use the definition of progressive Wikipedia uses and find me a progressive. They don't exist. What you will find in the reality of the progressive movement, is identity politics. The balkanizing of society into perverted groups moving with twisted attempts at imagined equity, tribalistically chanting beliefs in their superior virtue, calling for a unified government management they believe must recognize their scattered priorities. They are prepared to dismantle what is out of some vague internalized belief in some vague external promise of Utopia on the other end with a benign all powerful government watching over them. I sometimes think of those calling themselves progressives as progressive socialists - even if they don't know it themselves. Other times I think of them as a virus currently infecting western society.

Here is the game: Either you are an idealist or a propagandist. I tend to believe you are an idealist which makes you a perfect propagandist. That video posted is no different than the pictures posted above. It has a better marketing that is true, the "racism" racket can afford it. How does all this help the individual in society to get up in the morning and be successful ? What exactly are you proposing to fix this issue of "systemic racism", because pointing at a problem does not fix the actual problem.

What can I say, I accept my humanity, I am flawed, nothing wrong to set up goals like Non-partisan however I do have my moments when I see communists or people that love the USA more than this beautiful place that is Canada. When I was younger the soccer fans in Europe used to post a banner for the local team when they were not doing well: "Players come and go, management comes and goes, our love for the team stays the same". I don't find it patriotic to start bashing the country itself because of the management which according to you. is bad. I met a person recently whom I thought might be cool to get to know given I thought he was 'entertained' by political issues that discuss conspiracies. But he mentioned this [particular theory] and I found that I couldn't even get the possibility to challenge him on it. As soon as he seemed to understand what I meant by being a 'skeptic', he seemed to go into some defensive stance and silence. The feature of these types of "conspiracy theorists" have the same fault that most others have regardless of what political view people hold. This is because, movements like the Black Lives Matter are defined by a belief of a counter conspiracy theory of "systemic" discrimination as do all the other movements that have risen more than usual today. Our present problems that are dividing people actually related to differences in wealth by which ALL those from the top are utilizing "theories" without a care to be logical except where it appears to support their side. The groups of most powerful interests are split in a world that has become more against them as a whole by those without power. The biggest con is to reinterpret 'natural' logical causes as DUE TO very specific 'superficial' ones, such as culture and ethnicity. The winners today are those who are embracing either a direct PRO-my-cult or a PRO-anti-their-cult attitude. The right-wing politics defaults to a strong belief in cultural purity (Pro-my-cult) where the left-wing is also embracing this in terms of victimhood by asserting absurd degrees of 'advocacy' FOR some victim-class by focusing their hate against the minorities of those presumed to be systematically empowered (Pro-anti-their-cult approach). To me everyone is becoming deluded and this is intentional by all those in power of all those running all parties. For the left, the mobs there logically imply that the enemy class is something about the 'white people' as a race, especially of those who appear most extreme. In fact, if you have "white" skin, this is presumed to be a culture by the left if you are not self-loathing. This belief THAT there is a universal culture of something presumed 'white' is actually supported by ALL parties in real power. The difference is that the extremes on the right believe in positing a distinct 'white' culture where the left is negating it. In other words, today's 'whites' are being defaulted to by a conspiratorial culture. The extremes on the right come from those who are most cartoonishly irrational, such as the KKK or White Supremacists. But the actual extremes on the right permit the focus to be diverted AWAY from themselves and onto the cartooned minority of these irrationalists. The left then utilizes the same focus of these extremes (the KKK or stereotypical white supremacists) but by presenting themselves as protecting all other cults except whatever is 'white'. To me, while this conspiracy theory (of this thread) is absurd, I believe many of what people think is rational of the left are also equally irrational conspiracy theorists, such as that the POLICE are unilaterally evil white-supremacists. The "systematic" claims of conspiratory theories of THEM are backed by the anti-rational 'evidence' that "most victims of [place your cult, race, ethnicity here] exist but never get heard or seen!" [Hmmm...the evidence exists but is more pronounced by invisible evidence!! How is this wiser?] The enemy of today is the belief that governments SHOULD have a right to use their religious ethnic beliefs within government laws. This is a belief that culture genetically associated (not environental)....like that the actions of the police is intentionally pro-white and anti-color....are being promoted. This is made up of mobs of collective groups who all at least either agree with eliminating something "white" or enhancing it . In summary: conspiracy theories ARE either real or being CREATED and/or EMPOWERED to become more real by the very conspiracy theorists themselves who want to divert attention away from whatever CULT they are representing against other CULTS that dare to deny their beliefs as correct. So I'm not surprised about this and am fed up by all of you who arrogantly think you are any different than them. Such theories as this one about Bill Gates actually FAVORS him by how others will react to such absurdity. So how do we know that these 'theories' aren't being created intentionally (versus by accident or error) as diversions. While the theory may be absurdly false, the effect is to make those against this irrational conspiracy theory SUPPORTIVE of Bill Gates without him having to raise a counter-defense. So it begs who even creates these when all sides have some beneficial utility of them.
