Socialists, communists, liberals, environmentalists do not have a blueprint on how to run a country properly. They only know as to how to draw up a blueprint on how destroy an economy and a prosperous country into the ground. Their constant foolish politically correct emotional talk lacks any kind of common sense and logic is their problem. They cannot seem to understand that we the people want less government, and less taxes, and more freedom. A party that pushes for those three will end up being the party that will run the country. Canada needs more jobs, and less unemployment.

Until he's in custody he's just an unlawful combatant and as such the legal combatants on the field had every right to kill him. You can't expect soldiers to id people before they defend themselves. The Canadian government under Chretien and then Harper didn't mete out any injustice on him, they just didn't fight to get him released. And with him being a murderer and war criminal, why should we care? Khadr was born and raised to be a terrorist with bomb-making videos on the internet. Can you cite the "evidence that he didn't kill anyone"? You know that he pleaded guilty, right? More stupidity. No one is saying that Bisonette should be rehabilitated or released. I get that he was an adult but he was a non-muslim and no one is crying because he's in jail. It was completely unjustified. He was old enough to know right from wrong and he killed someone. If there's a requirement to rehabilitate him it should be done while he's behind bars. That's not shithole justice. Shithole justice is when a woman goes to jail for decades because she took off her own hijab, or when a 15 girl gets raped because she didn't have a hijab on and the police just laugh.

The word simply means a fear of Islam. It's certainly rational and logical to be afraid of terrorism but its illogical and irrational to fear Islam when it's not the cause of terrorism. The root causes of this terrorism have been pointed out hundreds of times in these threads and hundreds of thousands of times elsewhere. The geopolitical causes are modern and recent enough to have occurred within living memory. Terrorism is a completely rational reaction of oppressed people to overpowering oppressors. The US did not interfere in the ME region and fund and prop up dictators there because of things that happened in the Dark Ages and its stupid to believe otherwise and even stupider to spread such bullshit. I doubt our societies would have fared any better under such pressure and I suspect our resistance and reaction to it would also be called terrorism and they'd rationalize their Christophobia the very same way you do which is to say stubbornly and ignorantly.

Khadr wasn't entitled to that money. The money was given to him based on the supposition that he was denied a quick and fair trial, but there's no precedent for giving people who were caught on the battlefield a trial. Canadian POWs didn't sue Germany for the lack of a trial, and by the same token German POWs didn't sue Canada either. A trial for a POW isn't really a thing. When Khadr was apprehended he didn't even have the right to the normal protections of the Geneva conventions because he was an unlawful combatant (he wasn't young enough to be considered a child soldier either). He was caught, he was detained, and as long as the conflict in Afghanistan was going on he should have stayed there.

Muslims have been attacking all non-Muslim neighbours since Islam was founded. Ask the Hindus of northern India - now called Pakistan. Ask the Egyptians and Syrians and Lebanese and Turks, who are now Muslims but who used to be Christians. Ask Northern Africans taken in the thousand year old slave trades. Muslim nations stopped attacking their non-Muslim neighbors only when they lost the military ability to do so. And if, tomorrow there was some kind of plague which killed off much of the population of Europe (and America) and rendered their civilizations helpless, but somehow missed the Muslim world, you can be damned sure they'd be invading the next day. The whole point and purpose of Islam is to take over the world by any means necessary. That's the driving force behind the religion. There is the land of peace - ie, Muslim controlled countries, and the lands of war - ie, non-Muslim controlled countries. And there will be struggle everlasting until the latter becomes the former.

Ya know, I've often argued most Germans were good people in the 1930s and 40s. I mean, only a small hard core were Nazis. It was horribly unfair of us to be bombing Germans and killing them the way we did when we should have paid more attention to the fact most of them were just peaceful people and not Nazis at all.

No he didn’t appropriate funds without permission. Congress passed those funds specifically for aid to Ukraine. He delayed the release. He didn’t take money for his own use, it still went to Ukraine , but later than it should have.

Maybe you should compare your life style with those in Russia and China, perhaps you can come up with a few more differences, and how many freedoms you take for granted everyday...and how many are dependent on being able to defend ourselves. keep in mind Man has not learned to live without conflict, and he is not going to anytime soon so military spending is never going away....right or wrong... Both world wars have caught this nation totally unprepared militarily, this has cost the lives of thousands of Canadians , forced onto battlefields with poor equipment, training, you name it...and yet here we are today in the same boat, unprepared and more than willing to sacrifice lives because we were to cheap...those lives might be your's, or your sons or daughters, our government does not care who they send to battle or if the equipment is good or bad....

The US provides military strength around the globe, not just in Europe....most of the NATO countries including Canada have been living the dream, and peace dividends to the point that a lot of these militaries are gutted, like Germany, Holland, you name it...mean while China and Russian have been increasing expenditures on their militaries , to the point that concerns US military forces, that if something did happen, they the US would not be able to handle it themselves, and the NATO allies would struggle to commit forces that would not make much difference...Hence the 2 % GDP number... if Europe or Canada does not like it , get the phack out....it is really that simple....the US would fold it's tents in Europe and pull out ,leaving Europe poorly defended.. why should you feel ashamed, we have signed onto these defensive commitments , promising to maintain the 2 % expenditures....historically we have NEVER s[ent that much unless we were at war...but then again if you looked at the state our forces are in you would see there needs to be some investment.... America is getting tired of spending all it's tax payers money with no return while others profit from it...

The average American soldier knows who this guy is, with all the military grade tech and supplies he has been bringing into Iraq and Afghanistan, they know...like detailed plans and supplies on how to make copper lined shaped charges, that blew holes in both sides of thick armored plating and suck everything out of the veh from the other side... In my personal opinion anyone who votes for the NDP or the Green party's are in serious need of medical help. This province has become so seriously f' up thanks to not only the NDP and Green party's but the liberal party also. We have archaic liquor laws. We have a government vehicle insurance company called ICBC that constantly goes deeper and deeper in debt every year. Last year ICBC lost two billion dollars. Typical of a government outfit. We are getting ripped off by the oil companies here in BC. It was $1,57 for a liter of gasoline in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver yesterday and will be going up soon because of a carbon tax that was imposed on gasoline several years ago and it goes up 2 cents a liter every year. The NDP will tax anything that they can get their greedy and grubby socialist/communist hands on. Taxing road kill is just one prime example of the political fools that are running and ruining BC. A total bunch of foolish idiots. And the NDP went and brought back the Human Rights(Wrongs)Commission again. All you conservatives, straights, Christians and white people better watch out what you say now. They will come for you if you do not tow the communist party line here in BC. The NDP pretty much wrecked Alberta and the NDP party in BC is following down the same path. Gawd when will the people of BC ever learn?
