The Russians must have learned from the Canadians, who have injected their freedom of speech into American elections as well. So much so, they register to vote as U.S. citizens and cast votes. Hillary Clinton thanked her Canadian supporters and campaign workers during the book tour stop in Toronto.1 point

After reflecting on this, I now realize that this poor man probably just felt isolated and alienated from Alberta's cowboy culture. During his incarceration I think he should be fed delicious Alberta bacon and made to watch Brokeback Mountain over and over, so that he will learn to feel more at home. -k1 point

I don't think we're desensitized, I think we are still in denial. The Swedes are desensitized - In fact Sweden has officially given up.1 point

It's not silly if you are facing a choice between 'freedom of expression' or 'quality of poster' and you choose the former over the latter. If you want to come on here and lie about 9/11 conspiracies continuously, and be continuously shown as lacking healthy information, no one can point that out when you start a new thread about the dangers of bigfoot. So we have persistent liars given a 'safe space', and quality posters having an ever-increasing 'ignore' list.1 point

Iverson is doing press conference right now. He keeps talking "lone wolf" attack. How many "lone wolf" attacks have to happen before we see it's actually a pack of wolves?1 point

Oh I think there's lots more to say Micheal. You may not like what's said but that wont change the fact that it should be said.1 point

I wonder how many would feel Christian greetings at the start of every day were appropriate. Or having children try to draw various churches around the world, even if they were Muslim or Hindu or Jewish children, or having them write an article about one of a number of Christian men, including Conservative politicians. I note it also whitewashes the misogyny which is such an integral part of this religion.1 point

So far they haven't released his name but they have found an ISIS flag. This from the city that had to remove signs offering to help Muslim women who were victims of abuse because of complaints from Muslims. Not to mention there was a terrorist knife attack in Marseillaise yesterday. Wonder if they'll teach this point of view http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4936754/Wives-men-jailed-rape-blame-victims-too.html1 point

This week in Islam we see another example of what the cult of extreme misogyny does to the minds of some of its followers. A muslim shouting Allah Akhbar cut a woman's throat in a Marseilles train station last night, then stabbed another woman to death before being shot down by police like a rabid dog. And people wonder why intelligent people distrust a religion which can turns its adherents into the equivalent of rabid dogs, frenziedly attacking and murdering complete strangers in their devotion to what they believe is God's will. http://montrealgazette.com/pmn/news-pmn/report-knife-attack-at-french-train-station-assailant-shot/wcm/7822f2ec-c8a1-4132-be1e-a0cdf1a6e54b1 point

That is the liberal agenda. I just caught a segment on the CBC showing a girl ranting about Suu Kyi, and demanding that her honorary Canadian citizenship be revoked. For what? For remaining silent, and not condemning what's happening to Rohingya Muslims - which is human rights violations. Well, if that's the case......we better strip Justin Trudeau of his citizenship and boot him out of Canada. He wasn't only silent about China's human rights violations - he practically says he admires that regime!1 point

No, the US drops real mines, real cluster bombs, with a good portion specifically designed not to explode, gifts from America and Americans to the children of the poor countries of the world, toys they play with and are killed and maimed by. The US drops depleted uranium, phosphorus bombs, it carpet bombs, napalm men, women and children with wild abandon. The USA plays its political games, always money grubbing, no other reason, caring not a whit about how many civilians get killed. And they are all civilians because the US has zero right to decide what type of government the people of any country decide to have. The USA has had a dedicated school of terrorism since at least WWII, right there in the kind and benevolent USA. The USA hypocritically pretends there is a war on terror when it is the leading terrorist group/nation that has ever existed. Are you aware of Operation Gladio, a US/UK policy post WWII that saw permanently planted right wing, always vicious right wing, terrorist groups in western European countries to bomb and commit terrorist actions to blame of the communists/the left?1 point

http://www.ottawasun.com/2017/09/26/treatment-by-mps-at-m-103-committee-hearing-nothing-short-of-lousy Here is a sample of how the meetings are coming along and how they treat muslims themselves. It is pretty disgusting,.. But when I realized Hedy ( burning crosses in BC as we speak ) Fry was the chairperson, I knew the fix was in. Canadians better wake up before it is to late.1 point

I wonder what is the required frequency/scale of terrorist attacks before Western societies start doing something about it. I get the feeling most Western politicians would be ok with a few thousand casualties per year in their countries. They might even like it, it gives them the needed excuse to keep increasing government power and surveillance. How many must die before governments are forced to do something real to address the issue?1 point
