The way the corrupt Clintonite Nancy Pelosi and the Israeli Fifth Column Chuck Schumer have sat upon DNC and choked life out of it Bernie Sanders is barking up the wrong tree --this party is irredeemable--the high-profile special election in Georgia’s 6th District is a wake up call-- but is Sanders waking up? Or is he too busy signing ridiculous petitions that UN is too harsh on Israel!1 point

A funeral parlour in Québec has obtained a liquor license and will be selling beer and wine to the bereaved. No hard liquor at this time until demand has been evaluated. The funeral director says consumers want a package deal and this responds in part to that demand. Sorry, the linked article is in French but google translation would do the trick. I expect English media will carry this soon. http://www.journaldemontreal.com/2017/04/02/de-lalcool-dans-un-centre-funeraire-de-quebec In my experience, our once go-to funeral parlour was located mere steps from a hotel. Needless to say mourners would travel back and forth between establishments and I cannot recall any major drawbacks. Personally, I see nothing wrong with booze on site at a funeral parlour. Do you perceive negatives and do you think this could catch on in more funeral parlours?1 point

Wilber, if we do not know, then we do not know. That's it! Does the aboriginal encounter another civilization when they arrived here? Do they fight against them? Do they have breed with them? We do not know. Our knowledge about their coming 15k years ago is only our own deduction after the analysis of évidences found. There are no texts or record to explane us that history. So this irrelevent. Because we do not know. One thing I am pretty sure of, if there were non aboriginal humans living here before the current aboriginals arrived, they were not many and I doubt very much they were claiming the whole americas as their country. It's pretty safe to say the aboriginals were not immigrants. Although I am sure few of them were immigrants sometimes migrating from one tribe to another for whatever reasons.1 point

Doesn't anyone think it should end a bit sooner than mid-June? It is an indoor sport these days but the roots of the game go back to a time when it was not possible to play in June.1 point

That number seems ridiculously low. Many people don't admit their true feelings when asked such questions, as seen recently with statistics on similar matters. Seven in ten respondents said there is still “a lot of racism” in Canada. One in five have had racist remarks directed at them. And more than a third said they have made a racist remark in the company of others. Canada's racial divide: Confronting racism in our own backyard1 point

I think Kellyanne said it best, Trump is listening to the people while the Democrats continue telling the people what's important to them. The Dems have one play, and that is to be stubborn, arrogant and infantile regardless of what the people are telling them. Pelosi, was being told that she's out of touch, then proceeds to give a garbled and arrogant statement proving them right. Cryin' Chuck Schumer is no better. Hillary (Why aren't I 50 points ahead you might ask) was out of touch, Maxine Waters - Is she always drunk or is it a stroke? Wasserman Schultz - Bitch of the century? The list goes on and on...back to Harry Reid and Bawney Fwank days. These people just don't get it.1 point

No. Patients have rights and should be treated with dignity. They are not there for the benefit of doctors or staff. People should be treated with respect in spite of their idiosyncrasies.1 point

Chuck Schumer is an Israeli agent? Who knew!? Of course he IS a Jew, which should have automatically created suspicion!1 point

Really, I think it's even more valuable today. Without it, the whole country would be ruled by New York, California, Florida and a handful of large cities. The farmers and blue collar people would have no say whatsoever in the policies directly affecting their own lives. The tyrant you speak of could pander to just a few localized areas and know that she could tell the miners, farmers and such that they are deplorable and still win.1 point

The only real way to know whether she displayed racist behaviour is obviously to ask oneself "If a black woman wanted a black doctor - is that racist"? If a Muslim woman wanted a muslim doctor, Is that racist? If the answer to either of those is NO!, then it's not racism. If a woman asks for a female doctor, is that Ok? If yes, then clearly a man insisting on a male doctor must also be OK.1 point

1. Her rant is protected expression. 2. Her chosen words are consistent with official Canadian "racist" definitions and labels (i.e. "white" vs. "non-white") 3. Her request is identical to other patient requests that exclude health care and other professionals by "colour", language, gender, country of origin, or a combination of all such things. 4. Her snowflake transgression was to dare say it while being "white".1 point

Because they are the big cultural magnet in their part of the world with little fear of absorption, at the moment anyway. In contrast, we are the ones at the edge of a great whirlpool pulling us relentlessly in. The Ozzies are also more stroppy about authority and hierarchy in general, e.g. Ned Kelly, Waltzing Matilda, a bit like our American neighbours. The fact that we don't have intense sporting rivalries with the British attenuates the relationship as well - we are vaguely friendly.1 point

Canada's royal viceregal just insulted all "aboriginals" with his ignorant and racist ranting about immigrants, but a mother in a Mississauga clinic gets more attention and scorn. Racism is quite acceptable in Canada for some people and has been for generations.1 point

Most "whiteys" don't actually agree with your bigoted notions of what society should be like.1 point

Natives are not immigrants, just like British people are not immigrants to Britain. It makes no sense to call them immigrants by any current usage of the word. The only ones who call them immigrants are the rednecks and bigots who want to downplay their status in Canada.1 point
