So I don't expect those areas to be in the arena of discussion of policy. Immigration though, is now an open question. I agree that progressives aren't talking about it enough.

(Note: This TGV will never exist. It is like the roof of the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.) Yet, we Canadians already have such a right of way. At issue, IMHO, we must decide how to use this right of way. -The land of the railtracks between Montreal and Toronto belong to Canadians. Let's expropriate this land from the CN and CP. -Let's build bridges/tunnels to ensure that passenger rail lines in this right of way never cross a road. (At present, there are several hundred.) -Let's electrify these passenger lines between Montreal and Toronto.
