  1. Past hour
  2. Lol...I put real issues ahead of fear-porn chickenshit. You've already lost you battle for control.
  3. Today
  4. Meanwhile most of America is under water.
  5. Some real climate scientists went after alternatives to carbon caused global warming. This was decades ago, and part of their papers included Predictions that the temperature would start to fall again by now. They got grants too. What government would not want to find a proof that were coming out of this? But conspiracy theories can't be falsified. Conspiracy theorists can't be convinced that they are incorrect. Lack of evidence that they exist is itself evidence of a cover-up in their minds.
  6. Given that the federal NDP now has a new leader.... Anyone remember the waffle?
  7. In Quebec, I can vote for Quebec Solidaire. In English-Canada, there are the Liberals and the NDP. In the US, there is only the Democrats.
  8. I agree with Army Guy. This is the federal government (Liberal) giving money to local friends in Vancouver for political reasons. ===== The situation in 2008 was entirely different. Note: Our federal government (Conservative) gave no money to any Canadian bank in 2008.
  9. Zero-sum thinking. What does this have to do with the OP?
  10. After 70 years, you fought a bloody civil war. Then, after 100 years or so, you created finally a central bank: that at first test, f*ed up its role. In the 1960s, your federal government passed a law imposing rules on personal relations - overriding state laws. Nowadays, your federal government is buying faster than your country can produce new stuff. To be sustainable, America needs a federal consumption tax.
  11. I stand corrected: https://nationalpost.com/opinion/andrew-coyne-tories-cry-foul-as-maxime-bernier-spills-the-beans-er-milk-on-leadership-race Coyne speaks good French and often appears on Radio-Canada. I have never seen him talk about milk in French. ==== To my knowledge, Chantal Hebert has never said anything about milk in French or English. ============= Both have spoke often - on CBC and Radio-Canada - about oil, CO2, carbon emissions.
  12. This vile person has not yet been removed from the line of succession to be head of state of our country which should be humiliating for us.
  13. Apple changes its software so people buy its "new" hardware. Google monetizes its search engine - and enshittificates the Internet. Microsoft charges for its service. Facebook spends billions on a wacky facescreen - that no one uses. MAFIA-G.
  14. SaaS refers to software as a service. You don't own, you lease. Like renting, you pay for the use of the software. You don't own it. What is property law? ===== I own my home in Montreal; I think, until the Supreme Canada decides aboriginals own it. But do I own the air above me? Or how about the land below? If there is shale oil, can I sell it?
  15. Carney faces ethics probe over Vancouver condo bailout questions Prime Minister Mark Carney is facing a parliamentary ethics probe after Conservatives raised concerns that he could personally benefit from a proposed taxpayer-backed program aimed at purchasing unsold condominium units in British Columbia. Well, Trudeau had his first major corruption scandal after 4 months, carney's lasted a year without a major one. So I guess from the liberals point of view he's a little slow but still acceptable I will now Await the flood of liberals who will rush to defend this and explain why it's a really great thing and besides it's all harper's fault
  16. Are you seriously suggesting that molecules are out there running around trying to find mates? What the hell app do you use for that? Plenty of Ions?
  17. I heard it because you said it. And this is your usual go to, hell half the time you deny you said something even when it's in the same thread and everyone can see it Because unlike you I could count You were gobsmacked when you got here I'm generally speaking the only people who don't trust me are far left lunatics like yourself and I provide proof for my arguments. Which is more than we can say for you mr google.com I don't think they're taking you seriously. I think they're taking your condition seriously. It's similar but there is a difference I'm hearing what you're saying. The problem is you don't like what you're saying when people point out to you that it's problematic So what we see around here a lot these days and in fact most days is you getting called out for something you've said and then you rushing to deny it as if it never happened when everybody has clear recollection of it You're like the boy who cried 'Derp!'
  18. It's gibberish when you said it in the first place, if we're going to stop the conversation every time you sound like you're talking gibberish we're never going to get anything done around here
  19. Some pertinent questions are asked here. Why did Mike Huckabee choose to meet a notorious American traitor in the US embassy? The answers aren't convincing.
  20. Wasn't there a fellow named Chamberlain who thought that? How'd that work out by the way?
  21. I doubt you're even allowed to wear it at home.
  22. No I haven't, that's just what you heard that is all. How do you know? I'd be as gobsmacked as anyone if anything you've had to say was believable. Yup. Lots of people take me seriously, some even have certificates that require them to. Nope, you're just hearing things. You see a lot of that around here these days.
  23. No what you said is a misinformed opinion. Consensus is a fundamental part of the scientific process. I certainly do, I've been awarded a few myself.
