This is even better than I originally thought actually

@robosmith frequently throws out that Comey was a Republican when discussing the witch hunt into Trump. Of course he parrots media talking points.

But now Blanche, a lifelong Democrat who appears he switched his part affiliation over the mistreatment of conservatives in the legal system by Obama, all the sudden is illegitimate.

Democrat hypocrisy strikes again. I will slightly alter the title

Still not a registered Democrat. That's a fact.

Other facts:

Registered Republican. Definitely an opportunist. Definitely corrupt. Will definitely corrupt the once-independent DOJ to attack Trump's political enemies.

DOJ has until May 11 to indict Fauci:

Exclusive | Pressure on DOJ to prosecute Anthony Fauci grows after adviser indicted—with days left to charge COVID 'lies'

“99% of this country has no idea who Morens is,” said Oversight Project President Mike Howell.

“It’s Fauci that they will blame for one of the worst government catastrophes in history in America. And so the test is Fauci. The Morens indictment is great, and we applaud it. But there are a lot of people out there that want to see Fauci held to account for the damage he wrought.”

Howell, whose group sent the Justice Department a draft indictment for Morens last year, believes the adviser’s actions were closely linked to his boss.

“[Fauci] lied about one of the most damaging events in American history routinely and was behind a massive coverup of the key factors,” Howell said.

I posted about this in the Trickle thread a long time ago.

Morens/Fauci emails were subpoenaed and showed they were conspiring to cover up Fauci involvement in the lab leak.  He funded the gain of function experiments with Baric and then both of them published an article in the NEJM calling the lab leak a "conspiracy theory".

Maybe Fauci will be next.

It's unfathomable to me that so many people here just don't care that Fauci, Canada's Covid Sherpa, was lying to them all along.

And here's how the CBC chooses to approach this subject:

  • Former Fauci adviser indicted for allegedly concealing communications related to COVID-19 research

Oh. That's all he did. "Concealed some communications" lol.

It sounds like maybe he accidentally used the wrong email or something... Prolly no big D, right?

Canadians: "What's for dinner, Marge? And don't say 'meatloaf', we can't afford anther vet bill."

For anyone who wasn't bored to death from the headline, here's the sub-headline:

  • Dr. David Morens is accused of using private email to hide info on COVID-19 research

Ok, he hid some info. *yawn*.  Still nothing to see, according to the CBC.

The first two paragraphs of the article get a bit spicier, but there's still nothing alarming about it. It doesn't seem like there were any ulterior motives:

  • A former senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci was indicted on federal charges alleging he conspired to hide his communications related to COVID-19 research as the pandemic raged across the country, the U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday.

Dr. David Morens, 78, is accused of using his private email account to intentionally circumvent public records laws while employed at the National Institutes of Health. The Justice Department alleges that he concealed or destroyed records of discussions related to COVID-19 research grants, including an effort to revive a controversial coronavirus grant.

At the end of the second paragraph there's a mention of "a controversial coronavirus grant". Hmmmmm, it's almost getting unboring. If the dog doesn't bark, and no one farts loudly enough to create a distraction, a guy might keep reading...

  • Morens faces charges of conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting, according to a Justice Department news release.

Six paragraphs in it gets kinda spicy again, but still nothing that says "This is central to the way Canadians understood the whole covid narrative".

  • The indictment reflects Republicans' long-held belief that the federal government covered up key information about COVID-19 as the pandemic unfolded. Despite numerous probes, the origins of COVID have never been proven. Scientists are unsure whether the virus jumped from an animal, as many others have, or came from a laboratory accident.

^^^^^^^^^THAT LAST PARAGRAPH IS CBC ENGAGING IN DECEPTION^^^^^^^^^

The truth that's relevant to Canadians is: "The hidden emails show that Fauci and Morens were conspiring to keep their GoF research on the bat coronavirus in the Wuhan lab secret, so that they could float the pangolin theory as the only likely culprit."

As a member of the TNI, CBC was ACTIVELY pushing the pangolin narrative. That was a directive that came from foreign influencers, because BBC was theoretically the leader of TNI.

What's far worse, and what Canadians should be hopping mad about, is that TNI as a whole was ACTIVELY blocking any and all talk of the BSL4 lab on social media. CBC was thick as thieves with these groups as they obliterated Freedom of Speech in our country.

Then, when Elon Musk yanked Titter out of TNI, leftists went absolutely BERSERK on him, and he even started getting death threats from the people who were grovelling at his feet just months earlier.

Look below for proof that TNI, The "Trusted News Initiative", which CBC was a part of, was "heavily involved in efforts to combat C-19 disinformation" lol. The truth, that we all know today, is that they were banning extremely important and highly relevant information about the origin of covid, in conjunction with the Fauci/Morens attemts to cover their tracks.

Here's the proof that people were getting banned from the internet for merely talking about the Wuhan Lab as a potential source of the lab leak. Again, nothing that I'm saying is unverified. It is all 100% true, which is something that the CBC can never say.

Yes, both Facebook and Twitter (now X) took actions to suppress or remove posts discussing the theory that COVID-19 originated from a lab, such as the BSL4 lab in Wuhan, China, particularly during 2020 and early 2021. These platforms labeled such discussions as "misinformation" or "conspiracy theories" before reversing their policies in May 2021. [1, 2, 3, 4]
    Facebook and Instagram Policy (2020–2021)
    • Initial Ban: In February 2021, Facebook announced it would remove posts claiming that COVID-19 was "man-made or manufactured".
    • Censorship Actions: Users reported having their posts removed and some accounts were penalized for sharing articles suggesting a Wuhan lab leak. [that last parts means that: "people were banned from social media platforms - by the CBC's partners at TNI - just for telling the truth"] For instance, a World Socialist Web Site article was blocked as "false information".
    • Reversal: On May 26, 2021, Facebook quietly reversed this policy, announcing that it would no longer remove posts claiming the virus was man-made following increased scientific and political debate. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
    Twitter Actions
    • Suspensions: In early 2020, Twitter suspended accounts that suggested the virus was a bioweapon from the Wuhan lab, including an instance where Zero Hedge was suspended for posting an article with the personal information of a Chinese researcher.
    • Labeling: Twitter heavily moderated, and in some cases labeled as "disputed," content that challenged the natural origins theory.
    • Policy Change: Following Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, the company stopped enforcing its COVID-19 misleading information policy in late 2022. [1, 2, 3]

    • Public Health Consensus: Social media companies stated they were relying on guidance from public health officials and the World Health Organization (WHO), who largely dismissed the lab-leak theory early in the pandemic.
    • Shifting Scientific Viewpoint: The reversal of policy in May 2021 came after new reporting indicated that several researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalized in late 2019, which prompted U.S. officials to call for a more thorough investigation. [1, 2, 3, 4]

^Doesn't compare to the number of LIES about the pandemic told by Trump which fooled millions into spreading sickness and death.

Quote
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Donald Trump made hundreds of statements that were documented as false or misleading by health experts, journalists, and fact-checkers. While he defended these actions as an attempt to project "strength" and "calm," internal recordings later confirmed he was aware of the virus's severity while publicly minimizing it. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

🦠 Severity and Mortality
  • The "Flu" Comparison: Trump repeatedly claimed COVID-19 was like the "regular flu".
    • Reality: He admitted to journalist Bob Woodward in early February 2020 that it was "deadlier than even your strenuous flus".
  • The "Hunch" on Death Rates: He dismissed the World Health Organization's (WHO) 3.4% mortality rate as "false," stating his "hunch" was that the rate was under 1%.
  • Lowest Mortality: He claimed the U.S. had the "lowest mortality rate in the world".
    • Reality: At the time, the U.S. had one of the highest per-capita death rates among developed nations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
🧪 Testing and Preparedness
  • Testing Access: In March 2020, he famously stated, "Anybody that wants a test can get a test".
    • Reality: Severe shortages forced doctors to ration tests for months.
  • The "Inherited" Test: He claimed his administration "inherited a broken test" from the Obama administration.
    • Reality: COVID-19 did not exist during the Obama administration; the test had to be created from scratch in 2020.
  • Testing Volume: He claimed the U.S. had "done more testing than every other country in the world combined".
    • Reality: While total numbers were high, the U.S. lagged behind many countries on a per-capita basis. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Unproven Treatments and "Cures"
  • Hydroxychloroquine: He touted this anti-malarial drug as a "game changer" and a "cure" despite a lack of clinical evidence.
    • Reality: The FDA later cautioned against its use due to heart rhythm risks.
  • Disinfectants and UV Light: He suggested scientists look into "injecting" disinfectant or using "tremendous light" inside the body to kill the virus.
  • Insurance Coverage: He claimed health insurers "agreed to waive all copayments for coronavirus treatments".
    • Reality: They had only agreed to waive costs for testing, not the expensive treatment of the disease itself. [1, 2, 3, 4]
📅 Timeline and Disappearance
  • The "Miracle" Disappearance: Starting in February 2020, he claimed the virus would "disappear" like a "miracle".
  • Warm Weather: He asserted that the virus would die off in April as the weather warmed up.
  • Rounding the Turn: Throughout the fall of 2020, he claimed the U.S. was "rounding the final turn".
    • Reality: The U.S. was entering its deadliest surge of the pandemic at that time. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

No, it's your confirmation bias. You've been obsessed with the lab leak theory from day 1. And like all conspiracy kooks, you think there are only two types of information: evidence to confirm your theory or proof of a cover up.

Scientists we're promoting a natural origin theory? They're part of a cover up!!!

Meanwhile, go ask your friend AI about the origin of COVID 19. I'll wait.

...

Done yet?

Still, to this day, the scientific preponderance of evidence points to natural origin and that is still the dominant theory.

You WANT to believe something else, but it's not a conspiracy that scientists believe differently. It's, you know, science.

I didn't "claim to know" if HCQ worked. I just knew that there was no one on earth that had proof that it didn't work on the day that leftists started shrieking that it didn't work. It should have at least beeb trialled before it was declared "stupid".

Ditto for ivermectin, but ivermectin actually does work.

I didn't know if vaccines would work, but it was extremely odd that all the people who were somehow 10,000% certain that HCQ and ivermectin would never work were also 10,000% vaccine believers from the moment that vaccines were first mentioned. Usually the skeptics are consistently skeptic, but leftists were always 10,000% certain, one way or the other, of everything that was ever discussed during covid.

You guys went all-in on 100% vaccine safety and efficacy the first time it rolled off of "Saint Fauci's" lips and no amount of vaxed deaths or vax-induced deaths/injuries among young, healthy people could shake your belief in its perfection.

You guys were also the "small sample size" crowd, but no successful vax sample size was ever too small, and no vax-failure sample size was ever large enough, for left4rds. I even had left4rds here tell me that "Canada" wasn't a large enough sample size to talk about vax-efficacy in Canada 🤣. That was probably you, Hodad.

"Cover-up", you say?

Well, it's not just me saying it now, the Fauci crew is indicted for it. A cover-up.

By admitting that I was saying that it was a cover-up this whole time you're giving me credit for figuring this out years ago, who you were still just a slack-jawed mumbler.

Meanwhile, go ask your friend AI about the origin of COVID 19. I'll wait.

  • Fauci and other officials promoted a paper—"The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2"—that dismissed the lab-leak theory in early 2020, despite early private concerns from its authors that the virus might have been engineered.

Fauci and the gang "Dismissed the lab-leak theory" while still knowing that it was possible (far more ikely, TBH) and promoted another, far less likely theory, because the lab-leak theory put blood on his hands.

  • While Fauci has denied suppressing the lab leak theory, emails show he and former NIH Director Francis Collins were involved in prompting the publication of a 2020 scientific paper ("Proximal Origin") that argued against the lab leak theory at a time when they were being privately told it was possible

So he lied when he dismissed the Faucian-virus theory, then he lied and pretended that he never dismissed the Faucian-virus theory. And while he was doing that, TNI was also pushing the pangolin theory, and TNI was BANNING TALK OF THE BSL4 LAB ON TWITTER AND FB.

"Meh. Who cares?" - cultists like Hodad

In this exchange, Fauci was asked about the funding he provided for research that increased the transmissibilty of the covid virus among human cells, and all that he would say is "That doesn't constitutee GoF research, but only because Fauci changed that definition personally

  • During the July 20, 2021, Senate hearing, the following exchange occurred:
  • Senator Paul's Claim: He argued that the NIH funded research where scientists took animal coronaviruses and "increased their transmissibility to humans".
  • Fauci's Response: Fauci explicitly stated, "That is correct,"

And the little weasel who most likely created covid, then lied about its origin and publicly "dismissed" all talk that it came from his lab, was pre-pardoned by Biden. Geez, nothin' to see there.

The Democrats, TNI and the NiH all lied and covered up the lab-leak story, they even banned discussion of it from the internet. They're all complicit.

That's just the point. You're not stating indisputable facts. You came to a dogmatic conclusion several years ago, and you're filtering every piece of information through the lens of whether it supports your conclusion or undermines your conclusion. Anything that supports your conclusion you call an "insisputable" fact. Anything the undermines your conclusion you call a lie. And you interpret and label information based on that paradigm.

For example:

Quote

Fauci's known lies & his conspiracy with others to spread disinformation while concealing the truth and destroying evidence

There are no "known" Fauci lies. You have assigned both awareness and intent to statements that don't conform to your original conclusion, and because of your conspiracy thinking you havelabelled them as lies. Meanwhile, there is no actual evidence that he lied. And there's also no evidence that he concealed the truth or destroyed evidence.

You're doing the exact same thing here. You think your original conclusion is "truth" and that it was censored. It's all a sequence of poor reasoning.

  • You don't understand vaccine efficacy, so you mistakenly concluded that the vaccines didn't work.
  • Because you mistakenly think the vaccines didn't work (despite being debunked many times) you cling dogmatically to that article of faith.
  • Because you mistakenly think that the vaccines didn't work (they did) and that they were dangerous (they weren't) you think that everyone who promoted vaccines was promoting "dangerous misinformation."

At the same time:

  • Because the vaccines do work and it was a matter of life and death, platform owners engaged in content moderation to stem misinformation that would discourage vaccine uptake. (That's just socially responsible.)
  • Because the "lab leak" theory was so frequently tied to anti-vaccine misinformation, and that adjacency undermined uptake in other ways, it too was moderated by platform owners. Probably only SOME of it should have been, but they were doing their best to keep people alive and nuance was sacrificed.

It's not conspiracy. It's not "censorship of the truth." It's just humans making critical decisions in real time with an evolving set of information.

The FBI does (only moderate confidence). They are the only intelligence agency with that assessment. Others are low or natural origin. And the scientific community (which is where you should be looking) is still predominately natural origin.

The absurdity of you claiming lies and coverup about a matter that is still widely debated in the science community (though leaning heavily toward natura) is par for the course. strongly leans toward natural origin

Quote
Scientific evidence regarding the origin of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, heavily supports a natural zoonotic spillover—a jump from animals to humans—most likely originating in bats. While debates persist, the majority of evidence points to this natural, animal-to-human transmission over a laboratory-related incident. [1, 2, 3]
Key Evidence for Natural Origin:
  • Market Clustering: Early COVID-19 cases in December 2019 clustered around the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China.
  • Environmental Sampling: Studies found genetic fragments of SARS-CoV-2 along with animal DNA (including species susceptible to the virus) in environmental samples from the market.
  • Viral Evolution: Genomic analyses suggest the virus evolved through natural selection in a non-human host before adapting to humans. Similar to the 2002 SARS outbreak, bats are believed to be the natural reservoir, likely with an intermediate host involved.
  • Two Lineages: The presence of two separate lineages of the virus in early cases supports multiple independent zoonotic transmissions rather than a single lab leak event. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Ongoing Scientific Debate:
  • Lack of Animal Source: As of mid-2025, a direct intermediate animal host (such as raccoon dogs or pangolins) infected with the virus has not been definitively identified.
  • Intelligence Community Division: The US intelligence community remains split on the origin, with some agencies favoring a natural origin (low confidence) and others considering a lab-associated incident plausible.
  • Lab Leak Hypothesis: Proponents of the alternative, lab-leak theory often cite the proximity of the outbreak to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and research on coronaviruses, though this theory is not supported by conclusive evidence. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
As of 2026, the scientific consensus strongly leans toward natural origin, though some scientists call for further investigation and more data to definitively close the debate. [1, 2]

You are right: strongly leans toward natural origin

The HCQ study by Pradelle et al, that was done during covid to discredit it and was cited by governments in shaping their policy on HCQ, was later retracted for major methodological flaws and statistical misuse.

Fauci: "Two words, donkeys... PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY 😎"

All he has to do is get a couple of "experts" to testify that it could be natural, and then Fauci, along with the governments of China and the US are off the hook for creating the virus. Luckily for Fauci, it's not just his fat that's in the fire.

My bet is on "coming up with the required amount of expert testimony" to save Fauci and the two global superpowers from responsibility lol. Fauci, Xi, Biden, Trump and Obama could all be seen with smoking guns and broken vials in their hand, surrounded by the corpses of 100,000 80-yr-olds, and they won't be found guilty. Book it.

Yeah.

It was potentially a rather logical plan...in a way.

What's costing governments around the world a ton o' finances that the can't afford? Old age pensions. A designer virus that attacks the elderly and the weak, might resolve that issue.

People become more and more of a "burden" to society the further they get past 65 years old. Just a fact.

They contribute less and less, and demand more and more medical care all the time.

From the POV of a gov't, they all take up housing space for 1, use just as much electricity and heating fuel as a working man, and use a bit less water, food, etc, but also account for 10x the medical expenses. In China, that is tens of millions of people.

If Big Pharma wasn't milking old people for trillions of dollars a year, there would probably be a hunting season in 'Murica lol.
