It's definitely a new world order now with how Trunp has been threatening allies. But Carney shouldn't have said "new world order" because uneducated conspiratards aren't going to understand what it means and then make up conspiracy theories about it.

Carney shouldn't have said "new world order"... when he was shifting Canada's "economic and strategic partnerships" from the US to communist China. Wake up.

From your LPOC-coloured glasses POV that was always going to be cute and positive, because Carney said it, but from a reality-based Canadian and American POV, that was catastrophically stupid.

Ask yourself: if Poilievre did this, would you somehow see just a teensy bit of a problem with it? 😂

The CBC would be ranting about"Chinagate: the biggest political blunder in the last 200 years of Canada-US relations", and they would also be calling the next election "a referendum on Chinagate".

Carney is even talking about letting China be a partner in a new pipeline. Isn't that weird, when you consider that the Libs spent so much time and energy making pipelines impossible, and Trudeau chased away over $135B in energy projects in Alberta? Did those two chase away American and Canadian investment to pave the way for China to slide in there and get a bigger share? A controlling share?

Here's something about China that you don't know: they killed millions of their own people in the middle of the 1900s ("the 1900s" sounds so long ago now), and then they did God-only-knows-what to all of their own babies circa 2000, you are completely oblivious to reality if you think that killing 500,000 Canadians would phase them.

And was it really a casual mistake to talk about the "new world order" while he was right on the podium at the WEF...? The place that our LPOC MP's go to get their marching orders? Or did he use his inside voice out loud?

Polievere cannot even leave the country or attend meetings with world leaders  to find out the real facts and what is going on as he cannot get security clearance LOL.  so, your point is moot. LOL

When and where did Carney ever say letting China be a partner in building a pipeline?? More BS for a righty tighty???  Then again..if they have the money an d no one in Canada will step up...why not??

What $135 billion did Trudeau chase away?? More BS LOL

You mean they killed their own citizens like:

  • Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union): Orchestrated the "Great Purge," leading to hundreds of thousands of executions and millions of deaths in the Gulag system. His regime also conducted massive ethnic deportations, causing hundreds of thousands of additional deaths.
  • Mao Zedong (China): Responsible for the deaths of millions, largely stemming from forced social engineering projects, starvation, and political repression.
  • Pol Pot (Cambodia): Led the Khmer Rouge regime, which killed an estimated 1.5 to 2 million people—roughly a quarter of the population—through execution, torture, and starvation.
  • Adolf Hitler (Nazi Germany): Responsible for the Holocaust and the murder of millions of citizens and foreign civilians.
  • Other Leaders/Regimes:
    • Idi Amin (Uganda): Responsible for widespread executions and ethnic purges in the 1970s.
    • Kim Il-sung/Kim Jong-il (North Korea): Implemented labor camps and caused famines resulting in significant population loss.
    • Jean Kambanda (Rwanda): Interim prime minister convicted for his role in the 1994 genocide, where at least 800,000 citizens were killed.

So no, it was not wrong to call it a new world order because,  like it or not it is. All world leaders (a few exceptions) agree things will never be the same as Carney said.

Oh and....just to correct you ...again...Carney never said the words "New World Order" in his speech to the world leaders. Read the transcript if you want to argue but..you will not find it so...more BS from you LOL

You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to tell me what mine should be.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_world_order_(politics)

For a couple of decades now the term has been associated with various conspiracy theories. So it's not that they're not going to understand what it means, it's that you're deliberately leaving the door open to misinterpretation. It's a stupid thing to say. Especially in a mega creepy long drawn out way like that :)

As google ai says, 'The phrase "New World Order" is often associated with conspiracy theories regarding a secretive, totalitarian world government, frequently linked to dictatorships or global elite control'

That's not what you want your vision of the world to be associated with :)

It would be like claiming your gov't was dedicated to a world of happyness where everyone is gay!  Technically not inaccurate but dude! The word is associated with something else these days :)

Government has talked about it and has not ruled it out and the gov't propaganda arm, the cbc, is floating the idea as well.

They point out that china would be the ones buying half the oil from a new pipeline, so it would be normal they'd want to be a major investor.

In wake of new energy pact, could China invest in West Coast pipeline? | CBC News

No he cannot ...no leader can meet with a person that has no security clearance...it would not be allowed by their own security system. LOL

Government talked about it??? What government? When? By who...More BS dribbles out of your mouth LOL

"Heather Exner-Pirot, a senior fellow and director of natural resources, energy and environment at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, said any pipeline would require a lot of investment — and a customer on the other end of it." is not government and they did not mention China.

"Richard Masson, an executive fellow at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and the former CEO of the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, said previous Chinese investments in the oilsands and fracking have produced poor economic returns."

Nowhere is anything said about China building a pipeline LOL

That is absolutely not true.

It's not considered to be a good idea because the leader of the opposition can't speak for the gov't, but there's nothing forbidding it and in fact it has happened many times. You'll remember Andrew Scheer when he was leader of the opposition meeting with Mike Pence, vice president at the time. .

You're absolutely wrong as always. Why don't you look this stuff up beforehand? Why are you always this stupid?

Oh yes it is....

Why, as you say, did Scheer meet with Pence is he cannot speak for government??  Your BS baffles even you LOL     LOSER

If you cannot get a security clearance, no world leader will meet with you because you cannot guarantee that you will not disclose what has been discussed in private. You would be a security risk and could leak discussions. Besides, we know PP cannot keep hos mouth shut LOL

Quick - is it rabbit season or duck season :) LOLOL!! You're such a tard!

Leaders can and do meet with anyone they want to.  However generally speaking it would be frowned on to meet with representatives who aren't part of the gov't about gov't matters as a matter of course.  It happens but it's far less common.  But it happens.  Remember when danielle smith went to meet with trump to discuss federal trade issues? Yeah, me too :)

I don't know where you get your weirdo ideas from but it's certainly proof you never worked for the gov't or military.

I said Polirevere cannot have meetings with foreign leaders because he has no security clearance. Scheer could because he had clearance....

Absolutry leaders can meet anyone ...if they have the required security clearance...and PP does not have it so...he cannot.

Yup...Smith has her security clearance LOL

I get my ideas form know when a security clearance is required...I had a top secret clearance as opposed to you that had, if any at all, a green bin clearance LOL

I think everything you said has validity, but I think it's still coming from a point of view where you are assuming that the interests he has in his mind are Canadian. I think he's trying to set up his relationships for after he leaves office which is where the real money starts.

Remember that as part of Justin's trade mission he went to represent Canada but also negotiated a deal for brookfield for the loan of the $500 billion that elon musk used to buy twitter. That is a matter of public record, so we already have substantial business dealings with these people and I think he wants to be the guy that you call if you need a $500 billion dollar loan in the future from someone and he'll arrange it with a small 5% commission

I do not believe that his current actions are intended to serve the interest of Canada.

He has given access to Canada to the Chinese EV manufacturers basically for free. They have made no commitments, they have not promised to do anything and he has already stated that this is the"Initial " Round of cars with more to come. And we got our tariffs on food that they need reduced to a mere 15% which is still severely egregious, and no guarantee that they won't raise it the next day and if they do we still have to let them bring in their cars

To begin with:  Carney is FROM the big bux world - sent out from Wall Street by his mentors at Goldman Sucks to perpetuate Casino Capitalism globally.

Going down the EV road is full of potholes.  The Little Turd threw mega billions of our grandchildrens' tax dollars into propping up the EV business based on nothing but political greenwashing and obsolete and ecologically unsustainable battery technology.  The Chinese simply took advantage of our tiny pea brains and learned to be able to out-compete our backwards economies and industries.

Let's never forget the multi billions spent on bribing the press....oh....INDEPENDENCE of the media from the last government.  The only upside is that the Carnival sideshow is far less embarrassing to Canada when he opens his mouth than the Little Turd was.

When you're caught in a lie you always double down.

All mp's get the basic security clearance of course (can't be one without it) but scheer was never cleared for secrets the way you claim he was.

Further, Leaders meet all the time with all kinds of businessmen, famous people, and other dignitaries from both within and outside of their own country and those people don't have any security clearance either.

Can you show me in the constitution or in the laws where it says that a prime minister may not Meet with someone without a security clearance? Or that the opposition is not allowed to meet with other national leaders without a clearance? Or anything in the American or any other constitution that says that?
