Thinking this is about gun control and face coverings is overly simplistic... 

But, if you think that's the answer then it's time to get busy banning pressure cookers, tennis balls, threaded caps, fire crackers, the fertilizer you sprinkle on your corn patch and a long list of other stuff we could fill an entire thread with.

There's going to be a bit of a lull here as things get quietly and incrementally worse behind the scenes, it's going to make the Herbs and Robos of the world believe that their simple solutions to complex problems (like banning face coverings) are working fine and dandy.

Then, when they see that they got this desperately wrong, they'll get scared, and a scared liberal is a dangerous critter. They're going to gleefully vote for the sort of draconian interventions that could have been avoided simply by not being bat shi% crazy in the first place.

Apparently Canada is run by stupid people who don’t understand that promoting alternative lifestyles is only going to lower the country’s already low birth rate, which means that the founding peoples and their respective cultures are being eliminated, because the only way that such a self-destructive society can sustain itself is through mass immigration.

Canada has embraced low birth rates more than just about any country by promoting LGBTQ+, assisted suicide, unlimited abortion rights, free birth control, unfettered access to porn, government funded drug injection sites and drugs, anti-religion/anti-family speech policies, and more.

The dummies who think there isn’t a massive price to pay for all these so called progressive policies are the same people complaining about how Muslims treat women and the fact that there are few real men around anymore. Maybe stop mucking around with natural biology and focus on making life affordable enough for people to have kids and homes.

The fact that any tax dollars are funnelled towards programs like this says everything about why Canada is at a very low point.

Canada’s birth rate has indeed collapsed from an already concerning 1.7 to 1.3 over the last decade.  We can make light of it, and it’s funny in a dark way, but look around at your friends, family, and colleagues.  Note how many 20-40 year olds are having kids and how many kids they’re having.
