I'll agree that Trump might have the biggest ego of anyone on the planet. I'll say that he's crass, boorish, and he tells his fair share of lies as a politician. Nothing like WashPo says, and definitely not as big of a liar as the Carney, but he's no "Honest Abe" lol.  

And he's always putting America first, which is all that any American can ask of him. You could elect a far more palatable president with a far less pro-America agenda.

Trump is a cult leader.   Like, literally.  He loves the attention, the fawning.  Unless you're Elon Musk, 100% of Trump fans have below-average intelligence because an intelligent person wouldn't fall for his BS or support his methods.  The amount of people who think the 2020 election was stolen from Trump with zero evidence other than Trump saying so is embarrassing.  They were conned by a snake-oil salesman and don't even realize it.

He's a dictator who won't admit defeat when he loses, tries to overturn democratic elections, punishes anyone who criticizes him, demands unquestioned compliance, and tries to find any means he can get away with to not follow the law in order to get his own way.  He's a man-child.

It's ok to support the issues he wants fixing, it's not ok to support the methods he's using.  He was definitely elected based on the former, not the latter.  In fact, he lost the election in 2020 because of the latter.  If he wasn't such a POS he might have gone down as one of the greatest POTUS in history.  He's Icarus to an extreme extent.

Prove it in a court of law? The DOJ is run by servile minions under his explicit orders while the Supreme Court loves the idea of unchecked presidential authority. Only an authoritarian would deny that America has been moving rapidly in that direction since Trump took office.

As a Canadian...some of what Trump has done, has had negative effects on my nation. Should that mean I should hate Trump for doing what's best for his nation? No. It means I wish Canada had a leader who does what's best for Canada. But evidently...we do not. In Richmond BC the local leader has informed the citizens that they could lose their homes and property to natives. Alberta is seriously considering leaving Canada as a result of a long history of abuse by the federal government. Canada should be about the richest country in the world. Instead, we flounder in a slew of over regulation, incredibly destructive policies and weak leadership.

Anyone who opposes the idea of a government having the spine to act for the betterment of their nation, can quite easily be pegged as a traitor. There will always be disagreements on the methods for enhancing any nation. Hell I dont agree with a few of the moves Trump has made. For instance, I am not really good with this goading of Venezuela into war. But I can disagree without going full looney and accusing Trump of fascism.

There are a lot of points I've left alone, but this post is getting a tad wordy...and so I'll wrap this up by simply saying...
