The excuses are getting stranger every day...fire departments are still operating, Ambulance services are still out there in full numbers, police are still active, Off Road enforcement is is active....every department is still at 100 % with exception of a few local areas....where fires are.

I am from just north of that area where that largest fire is. Except for a few homes evacuated on one back road, no one has been affected yet and it's still confined to uninhabited areas.

As of right now, some thunderstorms are moving in and while that could make things worse, I think they are getting a pretty good rain right now over that area. Probably won't make much of a difference but man it's good to see some rain.

Only by lying, which is precisely what you just did :)

How can you comprare banning people from specific areas where there are active fires during a time when your resources are stretched fighting those fires long enough to get the fires under control, to preemptively banning an entire province for an entire summer till mid october.  That's the question And the answer is you can't.

But i wouldn't expect honesty from someone like you who supports rapists for president.

No, I was against Trump. You were the Trumper. How's that working out for you? 😆

That's not how I remember it. You were the biggest Trumper on here. You used to say things about how everyone who disagreed with you couldn't get it up and how Trump was all man.

No, I said Cdnfox supported him because the rapes are a feature, not a bug.

But you still can’t get it up? That’s not surprising. You guys rarely can.

Trump wasn't around back when you supported clinton.  The first one anyway.

And you supported the second one over trump and she was bills' version of Ghislaine maxwell

So there you go

No, i don't get to support either of them.  I'm canadian. You just keep insisting i'm a supporter without evidence or reason because you think of me as right wing and you believe all right wing people are exactly the same :)

At least to the best of my knowledge my country isn't putting forward husband and wife rape teams  :)

So judging by your responses all the other provinces which have fires are not protecting the well being of their citizens by not banning people from the woods.

Or perhaps they are not using a sledge hammer approach to their fires and instead a more balanced, or common sense approach. It was never about fires, it is about emergency services not being available for some reason...The excuses are getting stranger every day...fire departments are still operating, Ambulance services are still out there in full numbers, police are still active, Off Road enforcement is is active....every department is still at 100 % with exception of a few local areas....where fires are.

The fire below is the largest in NB, there is a picture of the size of the fire to put it into perspective...it is pretty small. the other fires are much smaller than this one, NB which has well over 7 million hectares of forested land, this fire is 240 hectares which is the largest

I can only say what I've said so many times and can't add a lot more.  My opinion isn't going to change...  It's amusing that people get worked up about this.  If they were taking away more than a walk in the woods I might sympathize with you, but they're not.  I really don't see that as an infringement on my rights and if walking in the woods was my thing, I'd find somewhere else to walk until the restrictions were lifted.

Do you live in NB or NS ?, i ask because i'm wondering why you would waste your time commenting on something that does not affect you, other than the fact your using it to make a political point of some sort.... much like THE LIBERAL commentator Scot reid, and his melt down on a podcast about the entire situation....and calling those that have voiced concern about this issue "these F##king people" and worse ....Yes now NBers whom come in all political stripes have voiced concerns over these bans are now just reduced to those f##king people...it seem anything that liberals don't  like there come back is those f**king people...not that i'm accusing you of being liberal....but if i was a betting man....

Not to be to rude but unless your from NB, NS your opinion is just that "yours" it has no effect in NB, NS...I find it funny that the first solution to solve this is restrict the movement of people Thats the answer....like some how restricting the movement in the woods is going to slow down those wind nuts that are starting the fires to begin with....kind of like the gun solution , ban guns from legal bun owners because it is the thought or perception the government is doing something...When there has been no real forest management per say going on,they have spent some money 3 years ago on new water bombers....that are coming on line this year....but no real plans to purchase many more, knowing it is only going to get worse..

Here is what they are taking away here in NB. NO activity in the woods at all, no fishing, no walking, no ATVing, no Camping, nothing , all of them NBer's pay for the privilege's to do these things....thats right want to use the NB trail systems you pay 75 bucks for one season pass, ( summer/fall) want all season it cost you over 125-150...(All year)There is no fishing even on the lakes, not that they burst into flames , but according to the Premier they can't go and rescue you if you become lost or injured..."Got nothing to do with fire"....ANY activity in the woods is halted not just walking as you have reduced it to...plus no fishing on any water way...

If your not from here your not seeing any infringements, because your and i'm assuming here ....not from here...Most of NB is rural, surrounded by woods...so the ban has effectively shut down most activates here...I have a camp on federal land, i have been banned on going to...No fishing by boat or any form....there are a lot of things other than just walking you can't do....

nearest town is Fredericton some 15 kms away, and not much there for entertainment unless you're into partying or drinking...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

I've been trying not to waste my time with same thing mentioned over and over, but you keep coming back to me with it.

No I don't live in NB or NS but I have woods where I live.  For the 30th time....  I can live without a walk in the woods for a period of time and will find somewhere else to walk.  And as well for the 30th time I'm not that politically sensitive or anti-government that I think it's an infringement on my rights.

You must be invested or just chirping one of the two because like i have pointed out to you, this whole thing really does not affect you...

Because for the 30 th time your not understanding what i wrote....

It is more than just taking a walk thats being effected....

I have not made any of my posts about rights....I've made them about using a sledge hammer to drive in a finishing nail of a solution.....None of the other provinces that have major fires in their provinces have banned anything provincial wide, MY point is they used common sense something we seem to lack here in NB/ NS.... There are plenty of things provinces can be doing, but to make it look like they are doing something restricting movement is the easiest and cheapest of all solutions...also the most ineffective...

So what...?   They made a decision.  If you feel that strongly that your government hasn't done the job then vote for another party in the next election.  I'd have to think that the people who have lost homes or have been evacuated from their homes because of the fires could give a rats ass about whether the government is using a 'sledge hammer' approach or not.

The only reason you're taking exception to his opinion is that he disagrees.  You're perfectly fine with people commenting on this (like the thread OP LOL) as long as they agree with you.

Your double-standards are once again on fine display.

They didn't lose homes because of hikers.

According to the premier it is not about fires...Its about not being able to rescue people, hence why no fishing in the middle of the lake...Has your province have a total ban on all activity in the woods...yes/ no Is your province protecting you in the same way...

That makes no sense....Of course i disagree with him, or the conversation would be pretty short like this one...

Yes, we've also been through that 30 times.  They're concerned with their citizens safety and well being and chose to do this.  No, the province I live in hasn't done that but if they did you won't see me complaining about my loss of rights, or any fishing or hikes in the woods I wouldn't be able to do.  Sorry but find it more comical than anything that people actually complain about this as if it's a life altering event....

You mean arson?

No, I didn't mean that.  An open fire was the cause of the Bayers Lake business park fire.  They haven't said whether it was arson or not but suspect it could have been a homeless encampment.

Oh look, another useless post by moonbox that doesn't advance an argument or contribute anything. How shocking!

He's made a good counter argument. The only person here who has buthurt because of their political leanings is you, which is the only reason you're jumping on him.

Have you ever actually contributed to a conversation? I don't recall ever seeing that. You usually just jumped in, derail threads, they baseless insults or just disagree for the sake of it and then wind up looking like a complete twat attempting to defend that.

You're complaining that he's commenting on it despite not being from NB or NS and it not directly affecting him, as if he needs to be personally invested to have an opinion or...something.  On the flip side, you're completely fine with everyone commenting (including the OP) as long as they share your view.
