Alex Acosta was a Federal US Attorney who gave Epstein that sweetheart deal.

Probably to avoid big wigs on the client list being charged.

Falsifying business records is usually a misdemeanor they turned it into a felony based on crimes that Trump was never on trial for. I guarantee you it gets overturned on appeal.
