Probably to your surprise because I don't buy into the typical right wing BS, no I'm not a proud left winger.  I'm not political party tied but admittedly lean more to the left of center for a number of ideals.  Otherwise have always voted for who I thought would best serve the country regardless of party, and neither Trudeau if he stuck around or the soon to be ex-leader of the conservative party was getting my vote in the last election.

If that's how they feel, and some of them have the power to veto energy projects, and all of them can heavily influence others who do, then the summit was a disaster. 

It was a disaster, period. Just like everything else that Carney has had a hand in since he was appointed PM.
