I lived in Alberta when the oil boom crashed and Alberta used up all of it's reserves and the feds stepped in with huge support. They have been far from ignored. Alberta would have no place to sell their pol if it was not for the feds building the pipelines because they cried they needed pipelines and could not afford to build them..
