You guys aren't conservatives and nobody loves big government intervention and control of society more than you Trump fascists.

You're another liar on here.   Nobody or practically nobody in Canada likes Trump or what he does.

So right there you are totally out of the real world.  I suspect you are an American Democrat.  That is a useless discussion here because Canadians do not support Trump and Conservatives in Canada do not like or agree with Trump.  He is in his own world

What investment has been driven away, specifically and what policies drove it away?

The oil and gas and pipeline industry has been greatly cut down in Canada by Liberals with the support of the NDP.  They killed pipelines and put heavy regulations on the energy industry.  This costs Canada billions of dollars in lost revenue and taxes.

Do you think there should be blasphemy laws in Canada?  Say a movie depicting Jesus as the devil…. Should that kind of blasphemy be banned in Canada?

You're trying to deny you were a Trump supporter now that it's unpopular? How brave you are!

The Liberals literally built them a pipeline, liar.

No I was doubtful of Trump before he was elected again.

Yup, these are pretty much the things that truly matter to me alright and don't forgot transparency and accountability too.

You obviously blindly believe government is your savior and you trust them for everything.

Where on Earth did you get this notion?

I certainly believe government is a necessary institution but all this saviour blind trust stuff you're talking about is something that's rattling around your brain not mine.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Sure.  Why not?  Do you think the Devil should be helped?

I think it well known you seem to defend the Liberals and oppose the Conservatives.  If you support the Liberals or NDP, then you must believe in government as your savior.

Because your bible tells you so or some right wing politician?

Did you ever consider they might be wrong or do you subscribe to blind trust?

So you aren’t for personal freedom at all. Blasphemy laws take away personal freedom and create a bigger, more intrusive government.

Did you just lie when you said you were for personal freedom?

Trudeau bought a pipeline.

Trump is America first and I hope PP will put Canada first. Nothing wrong with that.

It's certainly preferable to WEF first😉

Or Trudeau's . . . 'what will make me look good'

To an 'outsider' . . . it would appear that Trudeau hated Canada, and would do anything to sandbag this country.

No, I didn't lie.  You know there is no such thing as freedom of do or say anything one wishes.

Do you think it is legal to shout "fire" in a crowded theatre when there is no fire?

Personal freedom from government control in every aspect of society is a reasonable expectation.  That kind of freedom has nothing to do with controlling disrespectful speech or a movie that would insult a segment of society for no good reason.  We are talking about apples and oranges.

We already talked about that extensively.   You must know the reason they bought Trans Mountain Pipeline was because they had no choice.  It already existed and needed to be expanded and was the only pipeline to the west coast and provide fuel to western Canada.  Seems you can't understand a simple fact that it was a necessity as it was the only pipeline that already existed and a large population was dependent on it.

Well that's largely true, but the problem is they are also people who easily are fooled by woke leftist memes And that's even worse

They bought a pipeline to ship more oil.  You were wrong.

Making it illegal to offend Jesus is controlling speech.  It is antithetical to freedom of expression.

No, I disagree.  Freedom of expression has its limits as you already know.

No, I wasn't wrong.  Read what I said.  I said it was to expand (the quantity of oil being shipped).  It was a necessity.  You don't seem to understand why the government had to purchase it.

You can read it on wikipedia.

Yelling fire can get people killed.  Hurting your feeling cuz you love the Jesus does no harm.

For a while there, I thought I would vote for Poilievre. We needed some sanity following Trudeau. But then I heard Poilievre railing against the "Woke." Imported cultural war. It stuck me as a manipulative action, just like Trump uses "the Woke" to manipulate his base. Creating an enemy where none exists.

I don't want an elected leader to manipulate me into outrage. Just govern with wisdom and fairness.

I like what I see with Carney.

When people go to a public place such as a coffee shop, they have a right not to be insulted by some guy in the next table.  Get off your high horse.  You don't have a unlimited right to insult people in public places.

Even the leftists here admit that the media is completely biased to a farcical extent in Canada. PP was absolutely correct to call out our fake news. Only clueless sycophants are distressed by that comment.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

"If it didn't come from CNN, it's heresy!" - leftist "intellectuals"

I asked if a movie insulting Jesus should be banned. You can choose to watch a movie or not, can’t you?

Looks like you are trying to start a debate to insult or mock Christianity;  I don't have time for that nonsense.

Oh the Liberals are the liars, eh? PP's reliance on attack ads, copying Trump slogan based campaign, vaguest of (unfulfillable) promises, gutting of enviro standards, promises of tax breaks for the wealthy, banning reporters, railing against modern social norms, spouting how eveything is woke, etc is nothing like Trump.
Yeah, you can buy that if you want.
I mean, shit, the guy took 2-3 weeks to decide if he'd stand up for the country he wants to run.

Don't worry, one day he'll be old, wrinkly and can frown and sneer constantly so no one notices his beady, untrustworthy little eyes.
