They are desperate. She's losing and she knows it. She has till about the end of the week maybe possibly early next week to find a way to stop her drop and gain some positive momentum.

It's absolutely amazing to watch. These are supposedly some of the most professional election experts in the world, this is the major leagues. But they've been trying this stuff for a year and it does nothing except raise trump's numbers. Yet for some reason if they feel they can double down on it and somehow magically it's going to work where it hasn't for the last year.

Don't understand it in the slightest. It makes no sense, other than they're desperate and they run out of ideas so this is all that makes sense to them

I will say this, I live in a red county in a red state. I've never waited in line to vote in 20 years. Everyone I've talked to has waited in line for more than 30 minutes to vote. Everyone. Most waited upwards of an hour. There is a lot of enthusiasm to vote in this election.

Meanwhile she's down again in the swing states and in the national vote again today. Because that's about 24 days in a row where she has softened nationally and actually dropped significantly in the swing states there is a strong suggestion that her support is really weakening. Weakening support does not get out to vote

Meanwhile it does make sense that trump supporters would be getting out. And trump tends to do very well with groups that aren't really that political. A lot of his supporters are the kind of people that don't follow politics daily, they don't answer polls, they're busy getting the kids ready for school and they don't always vote in large numbers. But when they do get motivated to vote they can be an extremely significant Factor. There is a lot of them out there

We'll see. It really is too soon to call but my gut tells me there's just no recovering this for Kamala. I think it gets worse from here and I think is that sinks in their people will be demotivated.

There's been one shooting incident. And to paraphrase the other poster (and all common sense), if one does not wish to be labeled a threat to democracy, one should have thought of that before literally trying to overthrow democracy. 

Calling Trump a threat to democracy is no different than calling the sky blue: it's simply fact.
