Yes, because if I lost a defamation lawsuit, and was facing a second defamation suit against the same person, I definitely would not go on national television and defame that person.  I’d just say, “I deny her accusations and those things never happened.”  Which… may be equivalent to calling her a liar, but it is not defamation.

I'd offer a correction. This really doesn't have anything to do with desperation. It's just who Trump is: a pathological liar.

He started from day 1 literally telling people it didn't rain at his inauguration, when the entire country watched it happen. His wife sat on stage next to him under an umbrella. His guest speaker, Franklin Graham, went on stage just after Trump and mentioned the rain in his remarks. 

And Trump, being a compulsive liar made the claim anyway. Because he's mentally disordered.

He's the kind of guy who would pee on your head and tell you it's NOT raining. And his devoted cultists can't be bothered to call him on the lies. They'd just luxuriate in the golden shower of his attention.

Being listed has SFA to do with the value of the company.   Book value is the ONLY value to the company and the only value calculated into the fincial statement.   What happens "in the market" has little to do with the company and everything to do with nothing but "the market"/

Somewhat true, but an insolvent company gets delisted.  DJT can issue more shares to raise more cash from their gullible fanboys, but the fundamentals on that business are abysmal.  They’re binging in less than one million dollars per quarter in revenue.

You are discounting the value that any particular mouthpiece based on their exposure.  It is no different for Musk, Gates or Trump.  The "analysts" spin whatever BS spews out of their yap to bet the equities up or down simply to play their sick games.  Trump was not in Washington to "drain" the swamp, just to be another alligator churning the sludge.
