Windmills kick up dirt and debris and all kinds of shit on the ground - It's possible.

Haitians are beyond poor they'll probably eat anything.

In the deepest of blue shitholes, it's possible Dr's are not only doing it, but digging it.

In other words stating any of the above as fact as Trump and his cult do, is a lie.

Also by your retarded logic if windmills cause cancer because they ALLEGEDLY “kick up dirt” (spoiler alert they don’t) then the wind itself causes cancer when it kicks up dirt regardless of whether there’s a windmill there. Go look in the mirror and ask yourself why you’re so fukin dumb

No. It is something that does occur in Haiti, but isn't the norm. But eating cat, is also something that does occur. A dish called "tasso", is well known as made with goat or beef. But some, will make it with cat meat. Same as the Philippines, in that you're of the lowest denomination and education in eating this. Its not socially accepted.

Its not like you're going to see McDognald's on every block, selling sausage dog burgers at a drive through.

Where you look at your cat Fluffy, nervously when they inch towards the front door, knowing they are supper for whoever gets their hands on them, if they sneak out. It's nothing like that.

You're dealing with the poorest, least educated, that are willing to eat such foods.

Heck, they will even eat clay cookies.

However, there is nothing to prove migrants were doing it. No point in mentioning it. Trump made a massive mistake in sinking to her probing. She showed him a debate master class.

How many times did they cut off and fact check Kamala?

He made incorrect statements, and so did she. They would have been wiser to hold the same standard, or risk looking biased.

She was schooling him, and didn't even need the help, so that just plays into Trump's hands.

Except Trump was fire hose of LIES and only a SMALL FRACTION was checked by the mods.

are you referring to the courts when you say 'dolts'?  Because they have long held that a parent has  a DUTY to provide the necessaries of life to infants and that neglecting a child and allowing it to die is murder. its murder in most civilized countries.

So while you might THINK the court is wrong it IS in fact murder to allow a baby to die by deliberate inaction.

Not if it is a non-viable fetus that has no chance of survival and as the soundbite conservatives keep misusing says in those extremely rare cases they do everything to make it comfortable until it passes.

But its funny how you don’t have a problem with letting the mother die by refusing life-saving treatment to her. Doncha think?

I listened to Radio Canada during the day and no journalist or guest was in favour of Trump. Trump said that the war in Ukraine engineered by Biden and Harris was a useless war and that we are on the brink of a third world war and about to disappear, it's true and that in reality Israel and Palestine may in the future no longer exist, it's true, Iran is building atomic bombs. Kamala Harris was unable to say after how many months the fetus was not viable, it's unbelievable that the media would say that Trump has lost the debate. You have stupid politicians who believe that the media is a guarantee for democracy, but we are in an important election for the future and the media favors only one candidate, everyone who has been on Radio-Canada has all said bad things about Trump, they have all tried to make it seem that Harris won the debate to manipulate the population and the voters' vote. We can't say anything other than to say that Radio-Canada is a firm of trolls paid by the devil.

To the MAGA CULT Trump's LIES are always exaggerations, sarcasm, or joking. Cause you are divorced from reality.

I thought Kamala did really well during the first half of the debate, but towards the end I think Trump was pummeling her on things that really matter. Trump lacked discipline and looked really bad at times, but he also scored some big shots on the economy, the fact that she hasn't implemented any of her solutions in the past 3 1/2 years and on their weakness on the world stage.

Apparently you don't understand that VP's don't get to "implement solutions." At best they influence the POTUS and he takes the credit.

Nobody suggested it was common. And we both know it's not that the fetus has 'no chance' of survival.

But it shouldn't be the case at all.  Especially if it was an abortion 'operation' that left it 'of questionable viability' in the first place.  As if killing it 6 seconds earlier was fine but now that we screwed that up i guess we'll just wait here till it dies rather than try to save it. Oopsie.

Very very very very few people in the US agree with that. But it's what the dem's want the laws to allow.

If they don't, then what's the problem with passing laws that prevent it?

It seemed like they were more activist, than moderators.

They came prepared for his lies, yet didn't correct Harris on hers.

This plays to Trump's base.

It wasn't an impartial debate.

He came unprepared for the debate. She was heavily prepared.

Moderator or not, she would have defeated him.

What they did, is provide him with cover, based on how biased they were acting. They should have let the candidates talk, and let her beat him fair and square allowing for nothing to interfere with her hollowing out his lifeless carcass that showed up at the debate.

The moderators were more part of the debate than they should have been.

You're CLAIMING Harris lied, but DON'T EVEN MENTION ONE.

I guess we saw something totally different here. I do think he was triggered during the first half and took the bait she set for him several times. That said, none of these things she baited him on were very important. The second half he was more composed and was able to score big points on things that mattered.

You mean without LYING? Did you FACT CHECK everything he said?

It's kind of a hypothetical question as the chances of it happening are slim. They'd need 60 senators to sign on which isn't going to happen any time soon.

You mean Trump's REFUSAL to answer a HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION due to YOUR SPECULATION that the Senate will remain closely split.

Hypothetically it COULD happen but AFAIK it’s unheard of.  But remember the key features of this hypothetical scenario are

- Fetus is alive but has zero chance of survival

-Mother at risk of death or disability without emergency abortion

-Mother by pure coincidence goes into labour and delivers baby while abortion underway

The odds of all those things happening at the same time are so remote it’s likely never happened

Women who experience rare late term abortions are women who desperately want to be mothers and only do because of emergency.  They are extremely traumatized and devastated by not being able to have the baby they have dreamed of after months of pregnancy. The conservative sexist myth that these are just bimbos who changed their mind at the last minute because “it’s bikini season” is just another disgusting right wing lie.

I think it's hilarious you'd make that up entirely and try to present it as an argument, that's for sure :)

Kid - never ever let your desperation to win an argument cause you to make a statement that is so easily disproven, it makes you look foolish.  Hell not only did i not comment on saving a mother's life but how would allowing a child to die post birth 'save the mother', unless you mean her stress from raising the baby would be too much or the like, in which case put it up for adoption for god's sake.

Obviously you've got some damn thing in mind that you were trying (badly) to express so go ahead  and tell me what you mean and i'll share my actual thoughts on it with you.

What Trump says is on him. I've never seen or heard anything that suggests windmills cause cancer so I'm walking all that shit back.

What I AM going to do is have a discussion with you about WHY windmills and turbines are even in existence. So, as I've told robotard on multiple occasions, you and I are going to get granular. ;)

We'll start here:

1. We both can agree that you believe humans WILL cause global climate disasters that will kill everyone if we stay on the present course.

2.You ldiots have been crying about climate crisis for over 100 years, so how much time does humanity have left if we stay on present course?

Was the video posted on FB?

Beauty...

I just experienced this the other day, that being the concept of "FB true."

It always surprises me that the opinion of sun tanned people who are routinely "out on the land" (so to speak)  is so often dismissed as conspiracy by those with calloused thumbs. Just for fun, here's the summery:

I live on a lake and it's built up a lot over the years. I was talking to a lady walking her dog on the road recently who commented on the lack of loons and then attributed it to global warming and a shortage of fish. But here's the thing, she doesn't fish, doesn't have a fish finder, not a diver, doesn't paddle a canoe around the lake etc.

I told her that I do all those things pretty regularly and never buy my own fishing tackle as a result. Then I suggested that loons are clumsy brutes on land, their lags are pretty far back on their bodies and because of that they nest close to the water and the nests are subject to wash out from boat wakes.  Even in the shallower areas jet skies abound now and nest losses are significant as a result. In addition, eagle predation is a problem too because we are in an outlaying area near small farming communities. Nope.... it was global warming and it turns out her grand kids have jet skies. Apparently I'm a conspiracy theorist now.

As to eating cats and dogs, well, I don't know the facts here but I'm a bit surprised that people are surprised at the possibility..

Consider the effect of an influx of 20,000 migrants on a town of 50 thousand. Is it a surprise that hungry people would grab ducks/geese from parks, chickens from your back yard and the occasional fluffy kitty?

Some old school trappers favoured cougar / bob cat / lynx meat. My grandfather and great grandfather fed beaver and fish to the dogs they used on the line but some of those folks liked beaver loins as well, each to his own i guess... most people now use skidoos and eat pork chops. The point is, I'm just a generation away from those things now billed as ridiculous being considered routine.

The fire in Jasper is another example... when a 6 year old asks "mommy why are the trees red?" the answer is usually "global warming dear".

But sometimes taking a look at a map, noting the direction of prevailing winds and hiking /  riding the logging roads on a horse results in simple questions like WTF did you think was going to happen?

So, I'm not saying it's true, just curious as to why some folks here see it as manifestly ridiculous...

BTW, I drop in here very seldom, please don't expect a quick or witty response in the near term. I just thought that the ridicule, surrounding the possibility of it was misplaced.

Cheers

So not really "hidden."

You clearly haven't been to the Philippines, or any overpopulated country in Asia.

When a restaurant is hidden, they will not advertise. Their building will be among many others, tucked into obscurity. Building on top of building, and you truly need to know people who know about it, to get in. No foreigners will be able to find such an establishment. Not even most locals. Kind of like finding a drug dealer. Those who need to know them, will. These are illegal businesses.

Like I said. Hidden.

There were quite a few. She blatantly lied about the unemployment levels since the great depression, Trump signing an abortion ban, when he never stated anything of the sort, to him backing Project 2025, among other things.

There are quite a few blatant lies from her, avoiding tough questions, deflecting and literally taking zero ownership for her poor record at the border which she was appointed to.

Kudos to her for mostly stretching the truth, vs blatantly lying for the most part, but to say she didn't lie, is a blatant lie.

What was amusing was Harris's expression when she triggered Trump into his, aborting babies after they are born, immigrants eating pets, my rallies are the most awesome things ever rants. Like, Wow, that was easy, what an idi*t.

Do you really want someone who is so easily triggered and manipulated to be president?

Harris argued circles around Trump. Made a clearer and more appealing message to American voters. Trump was on defense the entire time, rambled off topic, constantly looked nervous on the side-by-side.

I do not understand why anyone would watch a presidential debate.
