Watching the events in Venezuela every individual who can think can see very clearly why democracy is not mob rule. Why one one needs to have those messy rules and institutes.

Yes you you can have elections. Maduro has them, and Putin, Iran, Lukashenko any dictator thug who would feel like having an "election". But how do you know who won? Can you win against a lying thug when he's running all things?
