For this first debate, Biden's team along with CNN laid out all the pre-conditions, perhaps hoping that Trump would refuse and ask for some concessions. He called their bluff and it paid off.

Who knows if the Democrats will now try and ensure that Trump actually has to go behind bars?

I can't imagine CNN not wanting the ratings feast for these debates.

For the next debate, if Biden was given a car, a map, and directions from his hotel to the TV studio I really don't think he'd be able to find it.

Biden challenged Trump to 2 debates, will there be another one in Sept after this performance and what excuse will Biden's people make to cut and run from it?

That thought actually did occur to me. After this disaster can they risk putting him up again in September? If it was just a matter of his answers not being that good they could train and work on that,, but I just don't see how they can overcome the problems with his mental faculties.

They would have to seriously rejig the format. They would have to look at significantly shortening the period of time for answers they would have to not allow the candidate to answer anything but the question proposed to them so that trump couldn't control the discussion like he did and then they would have to slip him the questions beforehand.

I have to admit, if I was on the Biden team I would be looking for ways to try and back out of that debate as hard as I could

The next one is with ABC probably moderated by George Stephanopoulos moderating for fairness.

Anyone with even half a brain who knows that isn't how America's justice system works - as much as Trump would like it to if he gets the chance.  Unfortunately that chance looks a little better after the debate.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

You're suggesting the DOJ isn't being pushed by the Biden administration to go after Trump?🤨 No collaboration at all?

Why bother when Trump seems perfectly capable of bringing the legal system down on his head all on his own.

Hmmm...arrogance. So delicious. So intoxicating.

So corrupt.

We see you. We see what you're doing. We will be victorious shortly.

Anybody with a quarter of a brain might think that :)

This judge made some exceptionally biased decisions. His daughter makes money if trump goes to jail or at least house arrest. The judge and the prosecutor created a completely fabricated nonsense case in the first place. Nobody in the history of the US has ever been convicted of "Felony bookkeeping. It's not even illegal outside of New York has a misdemeanor never mind a felony.

If somebody contorts the law that far out of shape, they absolutely will go all the way and incarcerate the person. If they give him some species of house arrest then they can claim he can still campaign electronically.

The only way they don't give him jail time of some species or another is if the backlash and push back from citizens is so large that it discourages them. But honestly I think they will do something along those lines to impact his ability to campaign. Biden is in trouble and they need to do something

Biden CERTAINLY won't bail. It's HIS opportunity for REDEMPTION.

IF anyone bails, it will be Trump, cause he will quit while he believes he's ahead.

Of course NOT. That's why you have NO EVIDENCE of it.

The ONLY evidence you have is BELIEVING Trump's LIES.

What I understand is that Brandon is a failure, and Garland used the legal system poorly and will now have to reduce all sorts of charges from Jan 6.

I also understand that in 4 months the Libbies will be out of power, likely from both houses of congress.

Enjoy the election...lol.

Willis previously refused to provide the necessary records and documentation. There is also evidence that she coordinated with the partisan January 6 Committee. In December, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan revealed the existence of a letter dated December 17, 2021, from Willis to Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) requesting access to congressional records and offering to have her and her staff travel to Washington, D.C., to "meet with investigators in person."

According to an invoice from the Law Offices of Nathan J. Wade, he met with members of the partisan J6 Committee in the spring of 2022. Willis is alleged to have had an affair with Fani Willis, who appears to have hired him and paid him more than other attorneys despite his lack of experience with RICO cases. Bank records indicate the pair likely misused funds by traveling together to San Francisco, Miami, and Aruba, with tickets purchased under her name.

Willis has since refused requests from House Republicans to disclose her and her crew’s contacts with the partisan J6 Committee.

Like I said, NO EVIDENCE of Joe's involvement with the Federal prosecutions.

There is NOTHING unusual about states cooperating/coordinating with Congressional investigations.

And Congress has no business interfering with state prosecutions. We KNOW what Gym Jordan wants and it's NOT justice.

My guess is that the Biden admin will try to pressure for some kind of so-called "fact checking" requirement as a bad faith poison pill... it is 50/50 what Trump will agree to or not there.

The damage to Brandon's credibility is already done. This NY thing will likely be overturned. But Brandon is already dead in the water. It's so obvious his administration got involved that arguing otherwise is pathetic. Which, I suppose, is why it's you making this argument.

No evidence?

I guess if you ignore his DOJ colluding with them... with Mr. Colangelo quitting the DOJ to join Bragg to prosecute Trump.

Yeah, sure. Nothing to see here folks.

I think just about anything they demand is going to look like they're running scared of trump. And there's no hope that they'll be able to effectively fact check on the fly, especially not with that format.

I think trump just sticks to his guns and says 'we decided all of this - i gave you everything you want and now you're just trying to desperately find a way for your guy to look less dead, but that's not my problem. Maybe his mortician can make him look more natural and at peace if you ask, it's not my job".

IF it were "so obvious" you could post EVIDENCE of Joe's involvement with the Federal cases against Trump, but YOU CANNOT.

And CERTAINLY NOT with the New York state case.

It ain't over til the FAT Trump sings "uncle." LMAO

Like I said, you got BUPKIS. Changing jobs is not evidence of ANYTHING. Could be a dozen different reasons.

Maybe Colangelo just had a personal desire to make sure it was done right.

No, now you are dismissing evidence. Before you said there was none.

Probably will be a few more later on in the year (Sept and Oct.) Each will be just as uninspiring and pointless as this last one.

There are traditionally only 2-3 debates total going back 50 years now. And Trump / Biden only agreed to 2 and already had 1. There is only 1 scheduled debate remaining.

So... where do you get there will be a few more?

its just a prediction... do you understand that? It really does not matter.. I do not need to watch them. No new information will be obtained.
