You forgot Biden and Trudeau.

Or any other elected official you don't support.

Both can be elected out of office, likely in Trudeau's case and Biden has term limits.

"Putin's war on freedom" lol.

What a stupid a-hole comment.

We're 3 years into that war now, it's a little bit late in the game for you to have no clue what's going on.

By your standards WWII could be described as Neville Chamberlain's war on freedom.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

That's about the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. Hitler invaded Poland, Denmark, Norway, The Netherlands and Belgium, Yugoslavia and Greece.  All neutrals.

Putin is doing exactly the same thing as Hitler did in Poland, invading on a claim he was protecting Germans,

Buddy, this is as much "Putin's war on freedom" and WWII was "Neville Chamberlain's war on freedom".

Both statements are equally incorrect.

I know that you want to play stupid, and pretend that NATO encroachment isn't a consideration, but I don't have to play leftard games.

So the possibility of joining NATO is grounds for invading and bombing the crap out of a country?. This was all about gaining territory. Russia backing rebels and wanting to annex  Donbas, Luhansk and the annexation of Crimea had nothing to do with NATO. This was bold face aggression.

Absolutely.

Kennedy was ready to start WWIII when Cuba got some missile silos 1400 km away across the Pacific.

How is NATO right on your border any less than that?

F Ukraine. They could have had peace two years ago if they just signed off on not joining NATO.

NATO has no nukes in Eastern Europe, let alone the missiles to carry them.

Bullshit, Putin wants Donbas, Luhansk, Crimea and anything else he can get.

Malaysia 17  was shot down with a Russian supplied missile in 2014. In all likelihood fired by Russians operating with Donbas rebels.

It's no point to argue with tinfoil brain people. The reality is reflected with 100% efficiency. Science cannot do that with sunlight yet.

Trudeau and Obama are fascist dictators of the worst kind.

Putin is a "genius", only slightly misunderstood, and Jong Un, "very honorable person".

No need to waste any useless words. Just look. The eyes and the brain have the full story. Yes, you only need those two.

Mike Johnson has decided to set Trump's personal agenda over the long-term pledges and commitments of the United States to defend freedom. The Republicans have this choice to make now. They can stand up for the principles and the right; or give in to the lying mob. The game of the House Republican leadership is transparent and obvious and there will be nowhere to hide from the judgement of history. The consequences of this choice will be recorded in generations.

Yes: you knew.

What a silly thread.

The Democrats tied border issues and war finance together. Was that stupid? Yes.

I think it's obvious that the Democrats thought if the Republicans won't pass their bill, they could say Republicans are "Putin fans" and unwilling to resolve Brandon's border failure, turning the table and removing it as the top issue for the election. But...it isn't working for them.

Meh...

LETS GO BRANDON!

The Republicans who let their rotten leadership betray every claim and principle of defending freedom, only to play into the glory aspirations of the lying buffoon will have their names written into the history books. Of shame. For perpetuity, or as long as the democracy lasts.

This is not just political games, not just another election. The freedom of people who put their lives and future on the line is at stake and you're choosing to play with it, and betray it with empty, pathetic and meaningless, lying rhetoric.

The history won't be fooled as a mindless cheering mob. Your names will go into it. As you know. Think of it now.

Ya, Eastern Europe was under the Soviet boot for 45 years and have not intention of being under a Russian boot. Hence, NATO membership. Among other things, Ukraine had the Holodomor inflicted on them by the Soviets which starved to death almost 4 million Ukrainians. Why do you think they are fighting so hard to retain their independence?

No, stupid. Warsaw Pact AND NATO had millions of troops along that fault line, and there were massive stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons there.

You're too brain-dead to imagine what it would be like to have that right along your own border so I'll tell you, it's not good.

Take my word for it, dummy. It's not good, and it's worth having a war over.

There are currently no nukes or missiles capable of delivering them in Eastern Europe. Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in return for a guarantee of their security by Russia. I wonder how keen Putin would have been to invade if Ukraine still had them. If Putin keeps invading neighbours, there definitely will be nukes in future.

Also by the U.S., the UK and France. This is one time to fail all pledges and commitments. Who would take that word for its face value after that? Who would even think of giving away the nukes?

This is what spineless Republicans are playing with these days, nothing less. All only to gratify one pathologically lying dictator thug admiring buffoon. What a contorted, shrunk caricature, on the background of Lincoln and Reagan.

How do you know what NATO could hide in Ukraine once they get set up there?

Stop acting like we're Leave It To Beaver and everyone can just trust us forever. The Russians don't trust NATO and why would they? 100M Americans don't even trust Joe Biden.

Guess what happened to Cuba in 1961... (of course you don't know, dummy, so I'll tell you: Bay of Pigs Invasion - USA)

Guess what kind of weapons they started getting... (of course you don't know, dummy, so I'll tell you: nukes)

Buddy, your historical ignorance and stupidity are on full display here every time you open your mouth.

You're not talking like someone with historical and geopolitical awareness, you're just regurgitating CNN/Demi propaganda.

Russia won't have NATO there. Their current gov't will have to completely capitulate in order for that to happen, and I don't think Russians have a history of capitulating. If you had any historical and geopolitical awareness I wouldn't have to tell you that.

We also told Russia that NATO wouldn't extend 1 inch past Germany. Where is NATO now myata?

You look at everything through a prism where you only see 1 set of transgressions, and where your side is universally known to be all goodness and light and the other side just has huge fangs and a lust for blood and rape.

You need a side of wisdom to go along with your wrinkles.

Don't lie.

F-off myata.

Next time do a quick Google search or read the thread to look for info instead of accusing someone of lying. My name isn't Rebound, eyeball, ex-flyer, Black Dog or robo:

https://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/newly-declassified-documents-gorbachev-told-nato-wouldnt-23629

  • Russian leaders often complain that the NATO extended an invitation to Hungary, Poland and what was then Czechoslovakia to joint the alliance in 1997 at the Madrid Summit in contravention of assurances offered to the Soviet Union before its 1991 collapse. The alliance has dismissed the notion that such assurances were offered, however, scholars have continued to debate the issue for years. Now, however, newly declassified documents show that Gorbachev did in fact receive assurances that NATO would not expand past East Germany.

One more thing: don't you think it's weird that your news "sources" didn't give you that 'little' tidbit of info this whole time? And that they don't mention the Obama/Biden era talks about NATO in Ukraine? Hmmmmmm....

NATO is 31 countries. Another conspiracy theory where multiple governments and their employees all have to lie so it will never get out. Fat chance.  Russia has spy satellites too.

Which US military invaded Cuba? When did the US bomb Cuba? Bay of Pigs was a CIA backed invasion by Cubans. American forces were never on the ground or attack Cuba.

There are no NATO nukes based in Eastern Europe.

Quote

In 2021, it is estimated that there are 100 U.S.-owned nuclear weapons stored in five NATO member states across six bases: Kleine Brogel in Belgium, Büchel Air Base in Germany, Aviano and Ghedi Air Bases in Italy, Volkel Air Base in the Netherlands, and Incirlik in Turkey. The weapons are not armed or deployed on aircraft; they are instead kept in WS3 underground vaults in national airbases, and the Permissive Action Link (PAL) codes used to arm them remain in American hands. To be used, the bombs would be loaded onto dual-capable NATO-designated fighters. Each country is in the process of modernizing its nuclear-capable fighters to either the F-35A, the F-18 Super Hornet, or the Eurofighter Typhoon.

Right now the only NATO countries bordering Russia are the Baltic States and now Finland due to this invasion. If Russia takes Ukraine they will have four more, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Is Russia going to invade all them as well. Ukraine has shown how important NATO is to the survival of former Soviet Bloc countries.
