MAGA Loses Their Shlt As Prosecutor Ends Biden Doc Inquiry

I saw that this morning. Maybe someday they'll figure out that just shouting "Both sides!" doesn't actually make it true. False equivalency is the standard operating procedure for justifying Trump's egregious boundary-busting, norm-breaking behavior.

Here is the problem that people fail to realize is that in some ways Bidens was more egregious because he had classified documents from his days as Senator. As Senator Biden he shouldn't have possession of ANY classified documents at all.

Biden could see the documents but it is done in a special room where he is not allowed to take them with him, so how did he have classified documents in his actual possession?

In Trumps case he had them but he was permitted to have them and he had them right after he was President which was normal and they knew about them but Biden had his far far beyond his time as VP that no one knew about and had some that should be illegal for him to have in any context in very unsecure locations.

Special Counsel Robert Hur is closing the Biden classified documents inquiry, with a report critical of document handling by Biden and his staff, but bringing no charges.

One MAGA minion, who has been charged with 91 felonies including theft of classified documents, took to social media to write: “Wow! Fake news CNN, through a leak from the Department of Injustice, has just reported that no charges will be filed in the (much bigger than mine!!!) Crooked Joe Biden documents case. We are living in a very corrupt country!”

The rest of the MAGAverse has followed suit, losing their shlt at the notion that stealing ultra-top-Compartmentalized classified documents, including nuclear weapons secrets, and keeping them in defiance of a court order, is a somehow a non-crime.

I say leave the hair sniffer alone. Have some consideration for the walking dead, for Chrissake.

You gotta admit that your own post is actually a damning indictment of the Dems' abuse of the DOJ.

The Dems/DOJ already got busted for going on a crime spree with the FBI during the collusion "investigation", then their Whitmer 'October surprise' turned out to be an entrapment scheme, and they also got busted for telling social media giants that the laptop story was "Russian disinformation" after they had the laptop in their possession for 11 months.

Could the US justice system possibly be any slimier? They cleared the bar for "banana republic" long before the latest spate of "91 felony charges".

Can you honestly look at how the economy has gone, how much of a debacle the Afghan withdrawal was, how much violent crime has risen year after year after year, how much of a joke the border is now (and the reversal of the 'racist wall' theory lol), and all the wars breaking out all over the world, and all the unanswered attacks on US bases, and the rise of anti-Semitism in the US in the last 3 years, and not think that the US would have been way better off with Trump at the helm?

Honestly, 2019 was the peak of western civilization by far. What we're looking at today is a sad, declining joke, and Biden's weakness and stupidity is just greasing the rails.

Ever since the MSM went covid-crazy in early 2020 the world has been a gigantic shit-show.

2020: Media frenzy - 15K deaths in Canada

2021: Media frenzy - 14K deaths in Canada

2022: Media silence - 19K deaths in Canada. Who knew that deaths just had to increase by 25% in order for the pandemic to be declared "over"?

You don't know what you're talking about.

Quote

it is well settled that Congress has both a constitutional and statutory right to access information within the executive branch, including classified information.

Congress’ authority to obtain information from the executive branch stems from the explicit constitutional grants of authority to Congress, such as the power to legislate, to appropriate all funds, and to confirm presidential appointments. All of these explicit powers require information in the possession of the executive branch and knowledge of executive branch activities.

In addition, general principles of oversight and accountability underlying the separation of powers also require that Congress be fully informed concerning such information. (Executive privilege protects only certain information regarding internal presidential communications and deliberations. Accordingly, only a small subcategory of national security information may be exempt from disclosure on the grounds of executive privilege.)

^This is true for TS/SCI classifications. Other classification level documents can be checked out and possessed outside of a SCIF.

Only for TS/SCI and special access program/nuclear classifications.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Biden hadn't been a senator for over 12 years when they found those docs, and he had been out of government completely for 4 years during that time span.

Ex-gov't officials' homes aren't supposed to be repositories for classified documents. Just think how many ex-senators and congressman there are floating around in the US.

Additionally, it's one thing for classified docs to be in the home of an ex-president, where there's secret service protection 24/7, but Biden was just a senator. His home is a far less secure place for the storage of classified docs.

No one is asking for Biden to be crucified, but fair's fair. Biden is easily as guilty as Trump was.

This is just like when Flynn went to jail for trying to keep US relations with Russia from deteriorating into another cold war, after he was already working with the incoming Trump administration, but Kevin Clinesmith altered emails and provided them to a FISA court judge just to get a warrant to spy on the president, and he didn't even lose his license to practice law.

If we're honestly gonna have a conversation about forgiving people's 'crimes' because they were "committed with the best of intentions", then I'll take 'Avoiding a cold war with Russia' for $600 please, Alex.

Not AT ALL. Some aides packed documents in a box unknown to Joe. When they were discovered, they were immediately returned.

Trump LIED about the documents in his possession including those in HIS DESK DRAWERS, claiming they were HIS.

He had numerous opportunities to return them BUT REFUSED the SUBPOENA.

There is AUDIO EVIDENCE of Trump showing classified documents to people uncleared and stating he COULD have declassified them WHEN HE WAS POTUS, but didn't.

And you're LYING about that FALSE EQUIVALENCE.

You just keep proving how IGNORANT you are about the FACTS.

That's a massive stretch. Trump having the documents wouldn't have been a very big deal (aside from the hypocrisy). When Biden and Pence and their reps discovered classified documents they immediately took action to remediate the situation and, as always, no consequences beyond embarrassment.

Trump, in contrast, lied, denied refused to return and even tried to hide the documents from authorities. All while showing them off to random people who had no clearance, seemingly to stroke his own ego.

Trump isn't in trouble for the (apparently alarmingly common) mishandling of classified documents. He's in actual trouble for everything he did afterward.

Hence the false equivalency.

How do you get from DOJ investigation to Gretchen Whitmer to Afghanistan to “peak of Western civilization” to Covid? I can’t make any sense of you.

WCM has a nasty habit of stringing together snippets of unrelated minor transgressions in a vain attempt to build a mountain out of a dozen molehills.

1) At least everything I say was true, so I will let you stew on it.

2) The only thing that makes sense to you is senseless propaganda, so I'm glad.

Lauren Boebert vaped in a theater, while George Santos committed campaign fraud… therefore Trump is guilty of fraud in the state of New York.

Wow. All of those completely unrelated things are true.  Big whoop-de-poop.

All of the things that I mentioned were absolutely true and they all had FBI crimes/lies/malfeasance in common.

Next time I'll try to translate that to Crayolese so that you, Biden and the rest of the leftards can follow.
