Here are the average gas prices since Bush:

  1. Joe Biden (partial term) — $3.60
  2. Barack Obama first term — $3.12
  3. Barack Obama second term — $2.95
  4. George W. Bush second term — $2.77
  5. Donald Trump — $2.57
  6. George W. Bush first term — $1.59

What changed?

One of Biden's first acts as POTUS was to announce that America will be carbon neutral by 2050. He then closed the Keystone XL Pipeline. This signaled bad times for the US oil and Gas industry. The price at the pump shot up like a rocket. He then went to a climate change summit in Glasgow and begged Russia and OPEC to produce more. The result..."I did that" and "Let's go Brandon".

Next...the destructive old fart started buying oil from Venezuela and began draining the national reserves...which are now more that half gone. He begged the Saudis again for more oil. But they told him to p1ss off. This year he attacked the coal industry.

All of these factors have lead to unprecedented inflation across the board. The current average price for regular gas is $3.50. The highest was last year in June at over $5.00.

In conclusion...Joe Biden is both a blithering id1ot and a complete disaster. His greenie crap was brought in at the worst possible time...he has lost all respect of the oil producing nations...he has depleted the reserves...and now he's attacking coal.

And on top of all this abject failure...he's also a liar and a criminal.

Again, this is an absurdly stupid post hoc narrative you've concocted. It's a global market driven by supply and demand, not by your fantasies or by Joe Biden's feelings.

It's a fact that domestic oil production is at record levels. It's a fact that US oil is exporting at record levels. It's a fact that our oil industry is enjoying record profits.

You're welcome to blame Joe Biden for the booming domestic oil industry if you want.

But you just look stupid when you try to blame him for global production that still has not rebounded post-pandemic, or for OPEC profit maximization strategies.

Frankly, the situation is a stark reminder that Biden is 100% right. We need to get off fossil fuels as soon as possible so that the whimsy of billionaire sheiks half a world away isn't a factor in our economy.

Or perhaps you'd like him to nationalize the industry and restrict exports? Lol

For the vast majority there was not. In fact, the vast majority of the rally goers didn't even enter the capital. There was however, 1 death. An unarmed military veteran by the name of Ashlii Babbitt. Shot dead by a cop who panicked.

Doesn’t matter hundreds of rioters at the Capitol that day WERE violent, including the conspiracy crackpot Babbit who was at the front of a violent mob smashing down the last barrier between them and the evacuating senators who were just a few metres away. The six police officers who were the only line of defence had their pistols drawn and warned that they would have no choice but to open fire.  Unfortunately for Babbit,  like so many of the rights brainwashed cultists she was so caught in up in her fervour she had no ability to think rationally and she failed to recognize the obvious idiocy of attempting to charge the officers pointing guns.

Republicans are the party that goes to absurd lengths to justify the police shooting of every unarmed black person including some where they were shot in the back while running away. And yet they howl over a large violent mob bearing down on 6 cornered officers and the nation’s leaders who had provided ample advance warning. Today’s republicans believe in nothing and will say anything. The psychological profile of MAGAs is accurate: “thick-walled, highly compartmentalized minds”.

Who said they were jews? You? Really dude...you're just dumb. You run with the most asinine crap. Nobody has ever said the Azov Battalion were Jews...except you.

Hey Dummy the president of Ukraine Zelensky is Jewish. So is his minister of defence. Your idi0tic logic is that if even one person resisting the Russian invasion is a Nazi then the entire country ip to and including the Jewish president amd minister of defence must he Nazis .

Also the Azov battalion was originally a partisan resistance group not under the government control until the Ukrainian government took it over and purged it of Nazis almost 10 years ago.

LOL...the Libbie hides behind the skirt of The Rona...again.

Frankly, the situation is a stark reminder that Biden is an abject failure and brings destruction to everything the fool touches. And you fools cheer him on.

What is wrong with you, on a fundamental level? The US--and Biden-- have no reason whatsoever to apologize for oil production because of the pandemic. The US oil industry is fully recovered. Again, it's producing at record levels. It has literally never been more productive, you thick tool. But it's also a fact that global production is down, hence prices are up.

This is not hard. Supply and demand is literally the most basic principle in economics. A child can understand it but, for some reason, you can't. You were right in your stump comparison.

What fantacy. First...Babbit did not charge any officers. I've seen the video numb-nuts.

I don't know anyone who tries to justify unjust police shootings.

MAGA...regardless of your asinine profile...are coming to power and they're goal is to restore America to common sense and equal justice. I know you'll hate the end of inflationary pressures and a halt to the nightmare on the southern border but...too f'ing bad.

On a fundamental level...I'm cursed...I suppose...with common sense.

You...on the other hand...will go buy gas...go shopping...and smile to yourself as you fork over twice what it should cost for everything just about. And why? Orangemanbad.

You're a m0ron who chokes down blatant lies and warped reality, so you can justify your pure hatred of America.

Yeah, I smile to myself and to others. I'm a happy person and I'm comfortable enough that I'm not worried about the price of gas. But that is entirely irrelevant. Even if it were a crippling development in my life, it's obvious that Joe Biden has nothing to do with it. You can go on blaming him, but it's just sending up flares that you're economically illiterate.

Let's revisit your silly list and stipulate for the purpose of illustration that these unsourced numbers are correct-ish.

  1. Joe Biden (partial term) — $3.60
  2. Barack Obama first term — $3.12
  3. Barack Obama second term — $2.95
  4. George W. Bush second term — $2.77
  5. Donald Trump — $2.57
  6. George W. Bush first term — $1.59

What changed?

Gas prices went up 40% between Trump and Biden and you conclude (with no consideration of the market) that it's because Biden is waging a war on fossil fuels and "stunting" the industry.

OMG, gas prices went up 75% between Dubya 1 and Dubya 2. Clearly, if you were a logically consistent and honest person you'd have to say that GWB must have waged a war on oil and stunted the industry even more, right? With help from Dick 'Haliburton' Cheney, right?

Was Dubya 1 twice as friendly to the oil industry as Trump? Is that why prices were so much lower? Hm, but oil production hit a pre-Biden record under Trump, and the prices were still higher. Never mind the market, it must just be because Trump is so green (orange) and just hates oil so much.

Can you see how farking dumb your argument is? Probably not, but you should be able to.

POTUS has almost nothing to do with the price of gas unless they have implemented new taxes or done something meaningful to the supply--and even the latter is unlikely given the size of the global market.

Clearly...as has already been discovered...you're a twit.

Your excuses mean jack...Jack. Facts is facts...and the fact is Biden took over...announced his greenie crap...printed money like a drunken sailor...maintained Rona restrictions WAY too long...and then the coup de grass...surrendered to a bunch of terrorists. He's lost all international respect and opened the door to real challenges to US power. Thus...Russia and OPEC tell him to go suck rocks. They WANT this old fool to fail.

Yet you whine and scream that "ITS NOT BIDEN'S FAULT!"

Well twit-ski...it is...and you're a bloody fool. A useful id1ot. A twit...ski.

The vast majority of Palestinians didn’t invade Israel last week.

The vast majority of Palestinians were bigoted enough to vote for Hamas, and Hams's stated goal is the destruction of Israel.

Zero Palestinians protested the terrorist attack that saw babies beheaded and burned alive, women raped and taken hostage, and 1,200 deaths.

and the Republicans support Trump, who said he would pardon everyone convicted of crimes on Jan 6.

Supporting Trump is smart: Trump was a great president.

I personally don't care if the Jan 6th guys get out because 1) It's almost certain that the Dems did cheat with illegitimate ballots, but their own police force is obviously never going to find evidence of that 2) The Dems definitely did cheat by getting the FBI to pre-emptively ban info about the Hunter laptop from getting out, and 3) it was just a riot with a few insurrectionists in it. The leftard hyperbole about Jan 6th is over the moon.

Dipshlt… Let me translate it to dum-dum for you, so you can understand:

1) US oil production is at an all-time high.

2) OPEC has deliberately cut their production in order to raise prices.
3) When OPEC raises prices, US oil producers raise prices to match.  Even though they are American companies, and the oil is extracted in the U.S., if they can export it for a higher price, they will.  They don’t owe us anything, even though they drill from publicly-owned lands.
4) Canadian companies do the same thing.
