Well i dont know how it is in the states but in Canada it's a whole differnet world - they want to see that assessment AND they want to have a proper evaluation done by a 3rd party. I went for a line of credit secured by my home and the bank paid a service they chose to assess it.

The evidence and the issues were so clear cut, Judge Arthur F. Engoron ruled on Tuesday, that there was no reason to waste the court’s time trying them.

Trump's response to the Charlottesville rally was a big misstep. However, it is the past. As for him losing this civil case.. not sure if I can draw a conclusion from it. Civil and criminal law are not the same. Losing a civil case does not mean that you committed a crime.
