FU. This chickenshit will end. It has to for the economy to recover.

Chuckle. Yup, suck it up, you lost it. You got burnt and don't like it....boo hoo

You said "Do you think climate change is worth the trouncing of the energy industry?"

I said "trounced?" and went on to prove to you that the energy industry is doing just fine and if you think by making record profits is being trounced, you need to look at yourself in the mirror because you are looking at a fool LOL

Its not over till the fat lady sings...and I haven't heard her bellow yet.

The energy industry is making money. It is not doing fine. Its growth has been stunted by over regulation and this climate religion. However there is hope in the name of Polievre in Canada, and a MAGA Republican in the US. And when this happens...the climate religious will be screaming for blood.

So you enjoy your $1.60/L gas and bloated heating costs. Know that this is destroying countless lives and families...and expect to be mocked and laughed at when the prices drop after all the regulations are lifted.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

OK so...I have not denied the climate is changing...somewhat.

What I oppose is this over-the-top reaction. The idea that its OK to bring the lower income to ruin...in the name of the religion. It is certainly not OK. It is certainly not necessary. That you laugh about this and say idi0tic crap like...

Only exhibits your callousness. You and I can afford this. Many cannot. They face questions like...Eat or get to work tomorrow? As a direct result of this abject bullshit, all costs have inflated. But you and your climate cult are more than happy to sacrifice people to your religion. I find that beneath contempt.

I am far from callous. I am totally realistic.

Am not callous about housing, health care, food costs, fuel costs, taxes, car prices, cost of living, weather and on and on and on. I am realistic about them all though.

I am not callous about climate change either. I am realistic about that too.

What is beneath contempt is whiners like you that try to deny the obvious and disregard true science and facts;.

What's obvious...is that you'd watch people starve and be destroyed financially...for your new Gawd...Climate Change.

There is no absolute evidence that humanity is in danger. There is speculation...lots of it. But truth be told...nobody knows for sure. Yet you will sit by and watch people be devastated and tell yourself its all for the cause.

That is well beneath contempt.!

not surprising that you bring up an example from when modern science was in its infancy.   Those who disagreed were branded heretics by the church.  The way forward was with better science

The only way to improve on science is with more science.

Then a consensus implies there's no need for more science because we all agree which as I said is not scientific.

That’s silly. You do know that scientists would be celebrated if they overturned a scientific consensus, don’t you?  Science doesn’t stop because there’s a consensus.

Exactly, you finally get it. A so called "consensus" is never final, which is what confuses the climate cultists.

This has in fact been a problem. Many people including science organizations claiming the science on climate change is "final" and "Cannot be disputed".   Which should seriously be a major red flag for anyone who knows anything about science - we are still to this day looking to prove parts of einstein's theories because there's always room for doubt until it's proven and that guy is the most consistently right guy in the universe so far.

That and the countless reports from the science community that anyone who questions the existing climate change beliefs faces extreme pressure or backlash indicates that whatever the truth is, we're not focused on that.

I do believe the climate is changing - it always does. I'm partial to the idea man plays a substantial role  in that one way or another.  But i don't believe that we're accurately seeing real science behind that. I believe it's heavily skewed and even when it isn't it's grossly misreported to create a sense of anxiety to promote political ideas and sell papers.

I’ve known it all along….  But, just because science carries on, makes new discoveries, and corrects mistakes is not an excuse to disbelieve a scientific consensus like climate change.  That’s what confuses the climate and evolution deniers.

You don't see anything over-the-top in your dismissal of a scientific fact you say you agree is real, as a cultish religious belief?

You're all over the map.

No I don't.

Example: Its a scientific fact that cigarettes are bad for your health. Yet we are able to buy them legally.

I can see that the climate is changing...getting slightly warmer.

I question if the response to this is warranted or not. It seems to me that, forcing energy prices through the roof...and subsequently everything else...is not worth tossing low income earners off a cliff.

Nobody can say if or when there will be a catastrophic event as a result of a warming trend. Oh they predict...but so far such predictions have proven to be nonsense. Yet in the face of this...you climate religious ARE willing to toss low income earners off a cliff.

I find that unnecessary...mean...and over-the-top. And when we analyze the latest results...it is.

Yet you climate religious continue to howl for more sacrifices at your alter of cards.

The climate has always changed and always will. The climate cultists sorry attempts to stop it is pure arrogance at it's finest.

So you don’t believe climate scientists when they say humans are causing the climate to change at a rapid pace due to CO2 emissions?

Not really. They can reduce it but i can tell you it's still a chronic problem.  And the illegal smoke market has climbed to the point where i see as many people pull out a pack of untaxed smokes as taxed ones.

There is no education.  There is only demands and insults.  In fact the lack of attempts to educate are reason enough to have doubts.

Here's 'education' -  DO WHAT I SAY AND BELIEVE WHAT I SAY WITHOUT QUESITON!! OR YOU"RE A SCUMBAG WHO SHOULD DIE!!!!

Yeah - that's not education.  Only leftist think that's actually 'educating' people :)

Sure CO2 is a greenhouse gas. %0,04 of the total. There are many other factors such as water vapour. methane, the sun's luminosity etc. So lets all board our private jets to attend another hypocrisy meeting over there in Davos and pay homage to the great leader Klaus Schwab. I'm sure we'll all get free Barbie dolls.
