American has always been on the right side of the scale compared to Canada, your statement would be true if thats who you were talking about Canada.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

I didn't say most Americans are leftists. I said most Americans are closer to Bernie than they are to Biden. Most Americans are liberals, they don't want to abolish capitalism like I do, but they do want more welfare programs like the Nordic countries have.

As for Trump, he only won because of our weird electoral college system. Trump never had majority support and most Americans voted against him in both elections.

Nope. That's not what 'freedom fries' was. And while the word 'boycott' was tossed around nobody really got around to organizing anything. Funny story - products that SOUNDED french actually DID drop very significantly in sales during that time but often the products weren't french. Like grey poupon mustard and L’Oréal shampoo, neither of which are actually french.

So if a real boycott had actually happened it actually would have probably had a noticeable effect, But - it didn't.

That’s exactly what the freedom fries fake boycott was a bunch of disorganized dumb republicans trying to boycotting France but instead boycotting American products and then lying about their achievements.

But the point was the Republican track record of lying about their boycott. For freedom fries, the disgraced and fired Fox propagandist (no not the current one, the previous one, you know, one of the sexual predators) made up those lies about a Republican boycott damaging the French economy and totally made up a French publication that doesn’t really exist called “the Paris business review” as his source.

SNL Transcripts: Salma Hayek: 03/15/03

Announcer: From Studio 8H in Rockefeller Centre, this is Weekend Update, with Jimmy Fallon, and Tina Fey.

Jimmy Fallon: I’m Jimmy Fallon.

Tina Fey: And I’m Tina Fey, and here are tonight’s top stories.

Despite the Bush administration’s request for a UN vote on Iraq Friday, they have once again pushed the deadline back. The new UN deadline is March 61st.

The U.S. military exploded a new 21,000 pound mega-bomb, the largest non-nuclear weapon in history, over Florida Tuesday. Minutes after the explosion, florida agreed to disarm.

In protest to Frances opposition to a U.S. war on Iraq, the U.S. congress cafeteria has changed French Fries and French Toast to Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast. Afterwards, the congressmen were so pleased with themselves, they all started Freedom Kissing each other.

Tina Fey: In a related story, in France, American Cheese is now referred to as Idi*t Cheese.

Jimmy Fallon: Trust me! They’re laughing at us! French fries aren’t even French! They’re Belgian. Some American guy named thm wrong, to begin with. Also, Americans – they’re pouring bottles of French wine down the toilet. Stop it! You already paid for the wine, you dopes! Pee in the wine, and sel it to some French people!  Then, you’re doing something!

Tina Fey: Yeah! And, you know, don’t think that by eating Freedom Fries, you’re being patriotic and helping the war effort. Use less gasoline! Read a newspaper! You know? How about you cool it with the Freedom Fries, anyway, you fat asses! We’re the fattest, country in the world!Have you ever walked around an American mall? It’s nothing but Chick-Fil-A’s and Lane Bryant track suits busting at the seams!

Together: Do something!!

Yeah. He obviously wanted to go now but that is clearly not a good move. Trump is going to get is second kick at the can and that's the way it goes.  DeSantis would be wise to keep building his brand, keep achieving good results in florida, and set himself up for the next go around. I think if trump loses a second time that'll be it, and i don't think people will give him a third time. And if he wins then he's only got one term.

Yup.  If the Dems win again with Biden, we’ll see the decline of America accelerate quickly.  Trump would end the Ukraine mess and restore American independence.  RFK could be a great bridge between the parties, but the deep state won’t allow that level of honesty.

No their stock is up in every measure year to date , week-to date, 1 month, 1 year. Their stock did not fall off a cliff it cleared was on upward momentum spiked UP sharply during March Madness then came down and continued its previous upward momentum at best there was a day or 2 around April 12 or 13 could have been market reaction but as has pointed out many times, Inbev SA is much bigger than Bud light.

Retail store sales appear to have temporarily dipped but I doubt that translates to stock and or even its mon retail sales to restaurants etc.

And the whole affair is still ridiculous- conservatives having a temper tantrum because now they’re had to head from another conservative that a tranny person exists and as a result per your lame words they can’t even have a beer without thinking about trannies now.

You lied. There was no boycott. Smashing wine is symbolic, it's not a boycott. And there was no boycott. People got mad at the french and polling at the time shows that sentiment against the french WAS actually higher during that time so you could say that it actually worked.  But it's not a boycott and nobody expected it to hurt france.

A guy selling an anti france bumper sticker is NOT a boycott.

So why is it that you can find SNL skicts and you can find bumper stickers - but you can't find anything about an actual boycott. I can find TONNES of stuff about real boycotts, like isreal or the russian vodka boycott etc.  But nothing on this.

From your link:  "an irrational fear of masks, people in costumed clothing and mascots"

So now you're saying that trans people are just wearing a costume? They're not REALLY women or men, they're just putting on a costume?

Or considering the story we're following perhaps you think they're a mascot.

For trans people it's not a 'costume', they're not 'playing dress up'.  Pretty callous of you.

Do you even think before you talk?
