The Left is Destroying Western Civilization

I never said I don't mind public healthcare.   You are inventing things that I never said.

Public health care is inefficient and wasting billions of dollars.

Unions are causing lots of problems.  Some employees are being paid a fortune.

Lots of waste and excessive administration.

Inefficiencies common.   Yet long waiting in emergency rooms and long waiting lists for surgeries.

Public health care is failing and Canada gets a failing grade.

Which private healthcare system should Canada emulate?

It's there in black and white easy enough for anyone to read (unless you're also the type to edit or delete posts)

I don't see anyone else pointing it out and no I'm not the type that would stoop to anything like that at all. Anyone else who would suggest I would can go pee up a rope too.

Nope. I've certainly never heard the whataboutism argument Zeitgeist appeals to in any talks I attended and it certainly didn't prevent the SC from authorizing the right of 1st Nations to pursue land claims and reconciliation.

Ahhh so it IS a comprehension problem on your part.  Fair enough. When two parties reconcile it is VERY rare for only one party to be at 'fault' if you will. Reconciliation requires both parties to recognize their role in whatever brought them to the current situation and that includes all the wrongs and slights, real and perceived. Only then can you resolve them and set them aside and move forward.

And of course it wouldn't affect legal actions. Why would it? I don't think you understand what reconciliation is

That's okay because I'm quite sure I do.

I'm sure you delude yourself into being sure about a lot of things,

The social gospel is a false gospel.  It is anti-Christian.  Socialism is evil and already explained.

What display? You still haven't shown me or anyone else that yet.

Ahhh  you've gone back to the 'pretend ignorance and demand he repost thing endlessly instead" mode i see.

You assured me you weren't that kind of person. I guess we'll add dishonesty to racism and hatred on your list of character flaws

You should have stuck with your assumption.

I did.  YOU were the one who questioned it.  With a bit of a freak out as it happens. I guess maybe my assumption wasn't quite as correct as i originally believed.  Normally when people agree with something they don't have a hissy fit :)

Still a mix of private and public.  According to @blackbird, the Swiss system is still Satanic.

there's no perfect system

but the Canadian assertion that healthcare is "free", when it is not in anyway free, is bankrupting the system

we have to pay for better healthcare, there has to be a private component to foster expansion

we can't load up on 500,000 immigrants per year as the Liberals are going to

without massively expanding the system to keep up with the growth

bottom line, you get what you pay for, subsidies and whatnot for the impoverished notwithstanding

So how does bringing up the bad behaviour of the victim's ancestors mitigate our ancestor's bad behaviour?  Unpack that for me please.  Of all the reasons to eschew reconciliation this reason in particular seems the most retarded, especially in light of our awareness that doing unto others as we'd have them do unto us is the appropriate course of action in virtually every other circumstance.

I sat in on a few treaty talks and I don't recall anyone ever using whataboutism as a reason to dial back reconciliation.

I’m not interested in attempts to paint whole groups as sharing in equal victimhood based on race or ethnicity.  That’s a lazy copout.  Each person’s situation is different.  I’ll go along with the take that most students in Indigenous residential schools had a harder time than most students in non-Indigenous schools, but after that assumption you have to look at individuals.  I don’t think most Indigenous students were abused, unless you consider disciplinary methods like “the strap” abuse by yesterday’s standards.  If you do, then millions of children across ethnicities were abused.  Again, I’m not disputing that more Indigenous had it worse.

I’m curious to know what more you think must be done besides the payouts and dismantling of the rez school system.  You know that Indigenous continue to choose to maintain the Indian Act with reservations and Indian status with concomitant benefits.  They must deem that there are aspects worth keeping.

I imagine it burned your bottom to stop fishing once you hit your quota while Indigenous exceeded it.  Too bad for you.

Do you know WTF this jackass means when he said I directed racism and hatred towards you?

You on the other hand I have zero sympathy for.  You made some pretty fascistic comments on the health policy front.  You’re a leftist in political rhetoric but pretty totalitarian in your attitudes. I certainly wouldn’t want to work under you.

Yes but you also know I would banish secrecy from the public domain to such an extent that it would make totalitarianism impossible.

I run a tight but very fair ship and I've had more experience in emergency situations including fires, flooding, life threatening injuries than I care to think about. I've maintained a cool head in situations where seasoned crew members were in tears.

As I recall you did an awful lot of crying these last few years.

I think you need to hand over some fish. Y’know, reparations…

"Socialism is the theft of capital, human rights, and more -from entire nations, leaving the masses in poverty and darkness."

What Does the Bible Say About Socialism? – Faith Founded on Fact

"Collectivisation was launched in the Eastern Bloc countries after the communist parties seized power as part of the transformation of the economic structure. With several exceptions (Yugoslavia, Poland) it was conducted in a very similar way, on the basis of the ideological notions applied by Stalin in the Soviet Union in the 1930s. In an effort to increase agricultural production in the Soviet Union, Stalin initiated collectivisation as a ruthless fight against the class of wealthy farmers (kulaks), who, according to Stalinist ideology, exploited poor farmers and prevented the building of collective ownership in the country. The killing and deportation of hundreds of thousands of kulaks immediately resulted in a significant decline in agricultural production."

1950s - Collectivisation of Agriculture - Socialism Realised

Doesn't this sound similar to Jagmeet Singh and the NDP ideology condemning greedy corporations?

If the Socialists had their way, there would be no private enterprise or corporations, no energy industry.  We would all be living in poverty like Venezuela and many other countries.

I don't think he was a true Minister.  There are lots of false ministers.  The Bible warns us about them.  Wolves in sheep's clothing.  People claiming to be ministers and then preaching Socialism or Communism.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15 KJV)

"But Socialist leaders get extremely wealthy off the stolen plunder. Karl Marx himself never worked an honest job and lived off the efforts of others while going deep in debt to finance his lifestyle.'

Our government took hundreds of people to attend the Queen's funeral and some of our representatives stayed in a $6,000 a night hotel in London.  That's how much they care about the taxpayer's.  Trudeau constantly gives millions of dollars away around the world while running up billions of dollars in debt for Canadians to pay for.
