I don't watch much television at all anymore

I don't even watch the Leafs anymore

I only come here to talk with my friends & followers

otherwise, on my down time, I mostly listen to music & enjoy the outdoors

I don't watch much either.  I think that's why I've been a bit more immune to the "push the lemmings towards the cliff" propaganda.  I only have streaming tv and watch the odd movie (a bit more in October because I freakin' love horror movies. 😄)

I cook and bake a lot - I make lunch for everyone at work almost every Friday.

I listen to mostly Spanish music while I'm in the kitchen.

I just bought a little house - one I can handle the upkeep on my own - and had a garage built this summer.  Next year I have to do some landscaping and build a garden in the backyard.

I'm also, like you, preparing for the coming economic collapse.

My recollection is that ones like yourself and especially Hardner, kept bringing him up as being one of the primary leaders of the convoy and the reason why the EA must be invoked.  You did it because the media and government led you to do it.

My recollection is that the ones here like myself who supported the convoy - we had either never heard of the man or only heard the name and not much else.  No one was "heavily" behind him.  I tried and tried to tell Hardner that the man was a nothing, but with his media-addled brain and rock-solid conviction that the governmental and media institutions are super trust-worthy and should be followed - no questions asked - he wouldn't accept any other narrative than what was portrayed in the media.

My recollection is that you were the same.  Hardner was worse, but if anyone was "heavily" behind King - it was you two.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the milquetoasts like Hardner who defend mediocre and sometimes malignant government practices are actually pretty dangerous when the going gets tough because they’ll go along and give tacit approval.  Psychologists have puzzled over how dictators could win hearts and minds, but we know that fear has tremendous power.  We also know that people can be very unquestioning and almost zombie-like through social conditioning.  The rise of Hitler has been described as mass hypnosis.  Hear and see enough messages, fear enough, and feel exhausted or resigned enough and people will accept all sorts of injustice.

Nope not at all. You were a Pat King ggoupie moaning and whining about him being in becasue he is a a leader.

Fact ism, the real leaders did not want him there and when he came anyway, they wanted him to leave or shut up..... and he didn't.

No personality conflicts when it is all against him. He is the problem.

"under intense stress and lack of sleep"? You are now talking about the citizens living in that part of town. Glad you recognize they were in distress by the protesters.

1. Um okay whatever that means. The fact he was put in jail is what they do in the soviet union.

2. I'm sure he has his flaws. Don't see the relevance to the EA.

3. I'm sure they are blowing it out of proportion as from what I understand they stopped using horns quite early on. My bedroom window is next to the street and my neighbor comes home with his truck at 3am. I just deal with it and don't go crying about it.

As for the businesses, I'm sure they could've just used curbside and been innovative even if they were concerned. Probably would've seen an uptick in sales during the convoy. Have to mitigate their loses which it sounds like they failed to do so the lawsuit likely falls flat

They say trust the experts and folks like Hardner bleat along "yes trust the experts"

This is Canada. We are not Americans.

I already explained the meaning of the American Dream in the West as a motivator and cornerstone of liberal-democracy and free markets.  I don’t know what kind of Canada you think we should have, but I don’t want to live in one that doesn’t value liberty and opportunity.

Chuckle, this is about King. Your hero was, according to the testimony of the other leaders of the debacle, a zero.

This is a lie.

I kept saying I didn't know the man, that he was a nobody with the convoy because right from the beginning, the convoy leaders put out information saying he was on his own and acting on his own, and had nothing to do with them.

I paid no attention to him until Hardner kept trying to portray him as the convoy's Big Cheese.

That is in no way hailing him as a hero.

Yeah, suck it back. LOL

All some of you did was try to martyr him and Lich when they were put in jail.

Seems none of the leaders cared less about him...

Backpedalling when it all falls down on ya.... Chuckle.

It's not hearsay as there was eye witnesses ie the people responsible for the money. Unless you are claiming they lied in sworn affidavits?

You mean the people that were handing out envelopes with $2000, $4000 and some $8000 in them to people they could not identify or name and have no receipts to prove they gave or took the money as the convoy communications guy testified to??

I just live for my wife, I live to make her happy

I would not have left her side to protest,

other than for a stand to, invoked by the brothers to the left & right of me

Your point was about horns... try to keep up with yourself

Ignore him.

He's admitted many times he's a troll.  He lies continually.

Those who supported the convoy on this forum never brought up Pat King.  He was brought up by trolls like this supposed ex-military troll and Hardner who feeds at the MSM slop pail and believes the government cares about him.

Chuckle,

You too are caught in your ill aimed support.

Now attacking me for your misguided praise and hero worship.

Chuckle.

Anyone can go back to the Convoy thread and see that the only ones who held King up as a leader or hero of the convoy were those who were against the convoy.

The convoy sent out press releases every day and one of the first ones, was one that explained that King was on his own, acting for himself.  I even posted it here when Hardner kept trying to portray King as some kind of convoy mastermind and Pied Piper.

Wrong again. You are having big trouble defending yourself. LOL

King is the zero you held up so high.

The hearsay was about the $20k from Ottawa residents.

I have nothing against Pat King. Tamara doesn't like him. Not everyone needs to like everybody... isn't an episode of the mean girls.

Your point shows you have the emotional makeup of a 13 year old girl
