True.

Ukraine. Finland, Croatia, Bosnia, even Ireland, there were others too. There were a lot of reasons that people with complex histories calculated that their enemy’s enemy was preferable and cooperated with Germany during WW2.

To claim that they were all Nazis then is a massive oversimplification and to claim that if they were Nazis back then some 80yrs ago then they must still be Nazis now is simply idiotic. Especially since the only country that’s actually governing like a Nazi with brutal oppression and invading neighbours is Russia.

There were MANY draft dodgers from the Viet-Nam war. In BC there were numerous pop-up towns full of them.

Ya I spent a night with a bunch of their children on Quadra Island just off of Campbell River.

NATO is not on the front lines in this conflict. They are providing military aid for an outcome that benefits its members.

Which is not without precedent.

Actually it appears there is some debate over if NATO troops are inside Ukraine or not.

It’s interesting that people who condemn the US for regime change, support Russia when it does it.

Who's supporting Russia?

And Westerners are volunteering to fight in Ukraine.

Are you one of them?

I don't have any Military training.

I'd be as useful to Ukraine as the poor conscripts Russia is throwing to the front line to be slaughtered.

So enlist. They'll be happy to train you too.

So here is a summary of where Russia struck in Ukraine.   And as probably mentioned already, it was a response for the bridge sabotage.

On top of that, NATO was beginning to mass troops in Ukraine, and these facilities were struck as well.

Its now plain that Russia is stepping up its efforts, as previously I don’t think they put half of Ukraine in the dark.  16 strikes, including the German Embassy.

Back to this meaningless talking point.

Why is that meaningless?

You think Ukraine is worth risking nuclear war over. I think its safe to say that, without stern opposition, Biden will send troops. Go ahead. Enlist. Go defend Ukraine.

Keep your head down...I understand its safer that way.

So much for "no boots on the ground".

Anyone but me wondering if NATO would like a bigger shovel?

NATO isn't sending troops.

This is just a deflection to bolster your useful idiot Pro Putin Stance.
