The more you talk, the more I see you have absolutely no clue what any of this is about.

Free speech? White supremacy?  Anti-semitism? Anti-Vaxxing?

NONE of those things are what this protest is about.

I don't think you guys even really understand what the protest is about.  WE ANGRY! FASCISM!  REE!

Not a lot to work with there.

Well apparently Bill Maher compared the Canadian government to nazis himself. Or is he not liberal enough anymore? He is also Jewish.

What's a little bit of War Measures? Papa did it.

The real question is for how long? Why get rid of it once you call it?

Canadians are sooooooo in for a surprise. I was a kid last time...

You mean... other people's conspiracies, not yours, right? I mean of course, you wouldn't want to dismiss yourself.

Better to engage than dismiss. Read Macchiavelli.

That's the problem these days. Not Machiavellian enough.

Interesting point. Permanent state of war, eh?
We are learning more and more about Mr. Trudeau's post-national state all the time.

The past was alterable. The past never had been altered. Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.

As well...

Back then....far less efficient but PET managed to arrest many political enemies as well as apparent FLQ supporter. It was surely to intimidate in many cases...a night in the lock-up for your dangerous views...don't have them again, okay?

You are free to go hide under a chair if you like. Wear 3 masks too if you like. Get 10 jabs too if you like.

Those who choose not to, should be able as well. THAT'S what this is all about.

But...you knew that and are just playing really stupid...right?

1. 2. I don't think I ever much cared about what he said, whether he is liberal or not, or what his religion is. He did get fired for calling the 9/11 terrorist brave, which was an early example of cancel culture I guess.

Yeah go ahead and choose not to.  Nobody is stopping you.  Just don't expect to have your way with everything else.

Well then we agree.

The mandates must end now.

Tell me...do you really know what Maher said and how? Or is this what they told you on CBC...

In what world do you figure we agree on this issue?  It would be hard for me to have more contempt for the trucker protest and its demands, regardless of the fact that I'm tiring of the mandates myself.

Based on what?

CBC's propaganda?

Trudeau's unsubstantiated accusations?

Quote

and its demands

What's wrong with their demands?

Do you have a reasonable defence for the vaccine mandates?

Do you have a reasonable defence for the vaccine passports?

That would be unique.

LOL...What WestCanMan said.

Ya know...its not a crime for you to agree with me, or me with you, on some points.

For instance...the mandates. Do they make sense anymore? No. Would the Ford and Trudeau governments suffer from continuing them? Yes.

As for the chin-diapers...I'll wear one if I must for some extra time, but get the damn things off of our kids! That is simply a disgusting practice/regulation that must go now!

Except you were quoting me on something that we definitely didn't agree on.  Whoops!

Their demands are the mandates. But hey...hyper-partisanship is so much more fun eh?

The mandates of course. How can you disagree completely with the protesters yet agree with their primary demand?

I don't think you're reading what I'm saying properly, or maybe I typo'd somewhere. I DO agree with the mandates being enforced.  I do not agree with the protestors' demands.  Is that clear?

At best I can understand the sentiment of being tired of lockdowns and wanting to move on with life, but I have absolutely no respect or sympathy for the idiots out there protesting making the problem worse and making it last longer than it needs to.

You know more about him than I do.

Canadians have fallen out of love with the PM, and this on valentine’s day. He’s just not that cute anymore.

Similar convoy protests are taking place in other countries. Around the world, people on both sides of the political spectrum have fallen out of love with Mr. Trudeau.

I see...

"regardless of the fact that I'm tiring of the mandates myself."

now...just how have the protests making these dumb-ass mandates last longer?
