It's all fascism. Some guy in a uniform telling you what to do or worse. Be it virtual or right in your face. All march to the same step...or else. That's where we are all heading.

Only because that's where power takes it and it always heads in the same direction.

So stop following it.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Yes I've been saying for years around here that communist governments and societies have right wings too. They even have their conservatives.

This is nonsense of the sort that only works to keep up the illusion that everyone should be looking back and forth with distrust instead of up and down.

You don't see the NSA CIA and FBI as rogue organizations out to establish their own world order?

To what?

My superior knowledge and grasp of history as evidenced by you having nothing but an ad hominem to counter it.

How so, think how much money you could save on gas, parking, lunches, day care, flexible hours, more freedom of movement...better for the environment... It does have it's good points.

Could this be the next step , from automation, those factory jobs are dwindling,

Not good for the workers mental health and their poor work performance that will show up. It kills downtowns,( as you mentioned why) because many need workers spending money, like in ottawa that the market is dying because gov workers are home. And on work performance that can go south quickly. And when i am dealing with people, i want them up, shit ,showered and shaved, ready to work, not just dragging their hungover arse out of bed late and then get your work done. Nope. Oh and the ones staying at home , I hope they take pay cuts.

Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

Inter acting with others can be met in other ways, clubs sports teams, etc maybe work from home on a rotational bases... I'm sure people could adapt if they had to, Bad job performance should be handled the same way it is now, fire they're ass. Business die and are reborn all the time, massive shortage in living spaces ...  PIK you sound like you got a bit of military in you, the three S's (shit, shower and shaved)....Pay cuts, not sure why, could be consider a pay raise. Imagine no concrete to pay , no utility bills for, more money for other things like chase better talent , or other things I'm sure that job performance can be increased somehow.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

More learnings:

-Foreign funding of protests is 100% fine, even if there's no 'global' element as with environmentalism; so no more complaining about Soros funding BLM protests

-Shutting down a major city - even the capital - for 10 days should NOT evoke a military crackdown

-Calling out individuals for poor behaviour is not an excuse to condemn the whole movement, at a low level of poor behaviour

-We hold the MSM to a different standard than blogs and so on

Yes personally its been good because we got some free money last May from the federal government.  Bought a new dishwasher from it.  I've been doing 5 days work from home.

The negative is that huge period where our children had to stay home and got home schooled - badly.  We both work and just can NOT home school a child.

Showed me what a hateful little troll Anthony Fauci is.  And loved watching Rand Paul argue with that little troll.

That money wasn't free.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
