Shady
I’ve always wondered why progressives seem to hate Chick-Fil-A with such a vengeance. Does anybody know the reasons behind the hate? Because I just don’t get it. Edited August 3, 2019 by Shady Image

It is just that Chick-Fil-A is a pro Christian conservative fast food outfit and that is seen as being too politically incorrect for the leftist lieberals SJW's out there so they must be attacked all the time. That might be it too.

Chick-fil-A is a pro Christian conservative fast food outlet where it's owners appear to be too politically incorrect for the leftist lieberal SJW buffoons who see Chick as not one of their buffoonery commie ilk. There you have it. I wish that we had a Chick-fil-A here in BC or Canada. I heard that the chicken is better tasting. It's supposed to be finger licking good. Yummy. BubberMiley
I think the owner has also spent a lot of money fighting against recognition of human rights for gay people. Quote Chick-fil-A’s many controversies, explained For Chick-fil-A, boycotts and negative press haven’t been bad for business. The Texas state legislature recently passed what’s been dubbed the “Save Chick-fil-A” bill. The bill, introduced in response to the San Antonio City Council’s decision to remove a proposed Chick-fil-A location from its airport concession agreement, forbids government entities from taking “adverse actions” against businesses because of those businesses’ “religious beliefs and moral convictions, including beliefs and convictions regarding marriage.” Chick-fil-A’s business model is largely rooted in its owner’s religious beliefs S. Truett Cathy, a devout Baptist, opened the first Chick-fil-A in Atlanta in 1967, and the chain has remained in his family’s hands ever since. Today there are more than 2,300 locations across the country — all of which are closed on Sundays. (“Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours,” Chick-fil-A’s website reads, “Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose — a practice we uphold today.” A previous iteration of the website reportedly claimed the restaurant was closed on Sundays as a “testament to [Cathy’s] faith in God.”) https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2019/5/29/18644354/chick-fil-a-anti-gay-donations-homophobia-dan-cathy Edited August 4, 2019 by betsy
betsy
Chick Fil A may be hated by the progressives......but, they're still growing and expanding! That must strike fear into the progressives heart - to see that their mission to sink down Chick Fil A doesn't hurt at all. https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2019/5/29/18644354/chick-fil-a-anti-gay-donations-homophobia-dan-cathy What does that mean? If you've got any source that says Chck Fil A isn't growing and expanding, give it - that's how it is in a serious discussion or debate - otherwise, just zip it. Don't bother. Personal opinions are worth squat, and we know why. Here, read it, and weep! Quote Chick-fil-A Is Now McDonald's Biggest Threat Dec 20, 2018, Value is relative. While many chains—including McDonald’s—added margin pressure this year by chasing value propositions in an attempt to rectify dissipating guest counts, Chick-fil-A sat out the discounting wars. In July, the chain’s traffic was up 10%, making it clear that Chick-fil-A’s customers don’t define value by $1 deals. Happy employees equal happy customers. Being closed on Sundays is a perk for employees who can carry on with their personal lives without the possibility of getting called in or scheduled.
