Dougie93 Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Johnsson's on fuego, Babcock has him in Brown's spot with Kadri and Bill Nylander.
Dougie93 Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Mitch Marner to John Tavares overtime winner! Let's go, baby!
QuebecOverCanada Posted February 10, 2019 Author Report Posted February 10, 2019 Tavares is filthy, he would be the best player for the Habs if playing for Montréal. He's your third or tied to second best player. Old school hockey that we all like;

Since it's obvious that fights are permitted to a point in the NHL game, refs stand back and watch until somebody falls down, only if it's an elite player they immediately step in and stop it. This cheapens the game for me, I don't need this staged bullshit entertainment. It has no place on the ice, but that is only my opinion. Not to worry however, you people shall remain well entertained. Love Tavares though! Edited February 10, 2019 by OftenWrong
Dougie93 Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Leafs, Habs, Bruins, all in a row. Hopefully the Habs can keep Boston at bay somehow so we can have more of this matchup in the first round. Because that was a heck of a game.
Dougie93 Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 The way the Mike Babcock Country Club is going, mailing every second game in and getting beat by bottom feeders, it could be the Leafs who are on the outside looking in. At least if they missed the playoffs, we'd be rid of Babcock then.
Dougie93 Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Leafs put up fifty five shots for, twenty high danger scoring chances on the power play, I'll chalk that one up to hot goalie no puck luck, plus Garret Sparks shitting the bed.
Dougie93 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 Columbus is reportedly asking a first round pick, a roster player and a prospect for a Panarin rental. That's a steep price, even for the Bread Man.

Statistically, the Leafs generated enough offence to score nine goals on the aggregate of a typical game, last night they just didn't get the bounces.

Look, Montréal has been struggling all season with their Power Play. They suck at it, let's put it that way. Still, Montréal is a decent team. It has good offensive players in it, but they are not in any way close to the skill Mitch Marner or John Tavares of Auston Matthews. Montréal can't compete with teams like Pittsburgh who has Malkin, Crosby and Kessel. The Eastern Conference has all the studs it seems. Edited February 12, 2019 by QuebecOverCanada
Dougie93 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 They need two centers and a left handed puck moving defensemen to play with Weber. Pretty simple, except those are the hardest players to get.
Dougie93 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 They need like a Keith Yandle at least, can't play Victor Mete with Shea Weber on the top pairing.
Dougie93 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 Problem is the Karl Alzner contract cap hit. Ouch.
Dougie93 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 At least the Max Domi trade worked out. Yzermandias said it was a bad trade at the time, but I said I liked it because; Chucky is a bum. Domi would thrive on the energy of the fans in an Original Six market like Haberta.
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Leafs East vs Loafs West. Avaloafs have lost 17 of 20, but one of those 3 wins was against the Mike Babcock Country Club. Clash of the Dipshits
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Andreas Johnsson second on the team in scoring in the last month, second only to Tavares. 7th round pick. 202nd overall. $787,000 cap hit.
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Kappy's on fire! 1-0 Loafs. Loafs getting caved in, suddenly Matty hits Kappy with the stretch feed.
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Loafs power play still gripping the stick. If it was any other coach but one that MLSE owed $25 million to after this season, that coach would be fired by now.
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Kappy two goal game! 18 on the season! Let's go baby!
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Nylander; 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points in the last 5 games. Billy is back, baby.
Dougie93 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 3 point night for Matty, 99th career goal.
Yzermandius19 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Lost 18 of 21 now, pitiful. #FireBednar
