Mohammad bin Salman

War criminal Mohammad bin Salman is the new sweetheart of American Zionists —from the imbecile Thomas Friedman of New York Times to the Israeli prison guard Jeff Goldberg of the Atlantic compete writing panegyric love letters to him —

Mohammad bin Salman is the ideal “Prince” for these Zionists — he is a Muslim Zionist who kills weak and impoverished Muslims in Yemen, hates Iran and Iranians and wants to see them invaded and destroyed, he has betrayed the cause of Palestine, and he grants the Zionists the right to continue to occupy Palestine and build a racist settler colony there —of course Thomas Friedman and Jeff Goldberg and AIPAC love him —

Meanwhile in Yemen more than 8 million human beings are in danger of starvation (according to the UN) because of the war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated by this “MBS” character

The only part I agree with is his criminal acts in Yemen. He does hate the Iranian regime and who doesn't, but I am not sure that he hates Iran and Iranians. As usual with most posters here the OP appears not to realize that Iran and Iranian regime are two DIFFERENT entities.

I don't like Saudi Arabia for many reasons . One beause not only its government but its society as a whole have no respect for women and do not believe in equal rights for women (unlike Iran whose population is respectful for women but not its government) however Mohammad Bin Salman has started some reforms but none of his predecessors ever done in that country. Two, because in spite of being rich they refuse to help their poor Arab brothers and sisters in other parts of Middle East. Three, because they have lots of oil money but no brains. Four, because it is a corrupt royal family who preaches Islamicic faith but most of its members are in Europe's casinos and bawdy houses. He may not be a friend of zionists but he follows the logical way of "an enemy of my fiece enemy is my friend even though he maybe my enemy". It was actions by Iran regime which pushed him to behind the door friendship with zionists. In spite of my dislikes for SA and it corrupt royal family as an unbiased poster I don't agree with above statements by the OP except crimes in Yemen.

While I was refreshed to see the OP criticize something other than Israel, I was quickly disappointed to see him once again bring up "zionists", a favorite bogeyman of the far left and the far right alike. If you want to discuss the Yemen situation, might want to try again

From what I've heard about "MBS", he's about as progressive a leader as it might be possible to expect in Saudi Arabia. He's lifted the ban against women driving (a big step for Saudi Arabia, as absurd as such a ban was in the first place) and initiated financial reforms that should allow SA to become not completely dependent on oil revenues over the next decade or two.

Crackdown on human rights and freedoms combined with economic reform leading to improved economic outcomes is now a tried and true combination following the Chinese model. Dictators and absolute monarchs around the world now understand that they can keep power with relatively little unrest so long as they allow their nation's economy to function well enough that people see material improvements in their lives from year to year. And economics is now well understood enough that this is not very hard to do. All you have to do is have your markets open to the world economy and avoid extremes of socialism, and your economy will work. MBS understands this, as seen with, for example, his plans to launch an IPO of Saudi Aramco.

Blech.  Burn the fricken world economy to the ground, go back to the stone-age and try again if this is the best that societies in the 21st century can aspire too.

Economics doesn't know squat about sustainability or natural capital and exactly where do you think you will be relative to the absolute dictators when these run out? Oh right, with your lips planted firmly on their fat pampered asses.

Shrug. I was commenting on the reality of the situation, not what we might wish it to be. Democracies everywhere are faltering and abandoning both principles and prosperity in the name of security and/or "social justice". Meanwhile, dictatorships march confidently onward.

I don't dispute the reality its just that you sounded pretty enthusiastic about it. There's a lot of that going around it seems - Trudeau's admiration for China's government and Trump's congratulating Putin for example.

Some democracies are at risk of being dictatorships.  The notion of 'papers please' no longer belongs to just the Nazis.

Only because people choose that course, its not due to any natural physical law that precludes taking a different path.   The dark side of the force isn't stronger its just easier.

Perhaps if you looked at the facts on the ground, it wouldn't be so difficult for you to accept the reality that Zionism is an ugly ideology.

You should check out What Is Modern Israel? by Yakov Rabkin, a professor of history at the University of Montreal. The central theme of the book is how Zionists have exploited Judaism and western traditions to offer Israel as a liberal democracy when it is actually a nationalist colonialists project hanging on by its paranoid fingernails.

Zionism exploits and props corrupt people, like Mohammad Bin Salman, again, for its selfish gain. You, parroting the marketing of "MBS", does not reflect who he really is. Which is a corrupt, power hungry individual, who has his millions working overtime to sell the image you are parroting.

I don't know much about zionism or what it stands for (I heard from a Jewish friend that it only means he believes in the state of Israel but very likely there is more to it like racism and hate by SOME zionists) but one thing I know about is that Zionism is NOT the only ugly ideology dominating ME and you fail to mention that. Your evaluation is biased as you ignore the fact that Israel is surrounded by a large population of very bitter enemies hundred times it population and likely more violent.

I don't fail to mention it. I have often mentioned Wahabism as being an ugly ideology as well. Both Zionism and Wahabism will trample over other people's human rights for their own selfish gains. One happens to have a much better PR team.

The question is, which one of these ugly ideologies do we support? Unfortunately, at the moment, Canada supports Zionism and very recently, they are supporting Saudi Arabia, through selling military vehicles. Saudi backs its crazy, uncontrollable dog, who creates chaos in the Middle East, ISIS. Not to mention Saudi's crimes against humanity in Yemen.

Zionism and Saudi Wahabism you have said often as forces responsible for all ME problems and chaos but how many times as an unbiased poster should,  have you mentioned the chaos and sufferings coming from Iran regime form of Islamism all over middle east and the poor defenseless nation of Iran???

Do I need to preach to the choir? I have not seen anyone on this forum defending the Iranian regime and their actions.

I don't think anyone here disagrees that Iran is mostly controlled through a theocratic system and there are major human rights abuses, including the lack of freedom of speech, religion and sexuality.

Listen to find out what Zionism is just read. The best way to deal with ignorance is to just read up on the topic. It aont rocket science. No Zionism has nothing to do with race and never did. Not a damn thing. Don't speculate on what SOME Zionists may think go find out what we think. It has nothing at all to do with race. Not a damn thing. More to the point neither Jews or Muslims are a race and neither are Israelis or Arabs.

The problem is forums like this are inundated by extremists who pose with English sounding names trying to incite hatred against all Jews.

"Marcus", the quaint English sounding name,  like "Hudson Jones" how English in sound, Kactus, whatever  does not have the integrity to admit he is a Shiite Muslim extremist who supports the violent extinction of Israel and believes no non Muslim has the right o own land or have the same legal rights as a Muslim. He supports Hezbollah, Iran and Assad and any Muslim fundamentalist who believes sharia law justifies defining non Muyslims as dhimmi and khafir. Why won't he admit he is a Muslim? Hmmmmm? Why do you think you are buying into crap about Zionists from someone who can't admit he is a Muslim? Why do you think this thread is even up on this board. Does it offer anything new? Other than call Zionists names and incite hatred against Jews and Israel what is it? Its the same retreaded script. Does this fine outstanding Muslim who supports Iran and Assad talk about what is going on in Syria or how Palestinians are incited to get themselves shot at the Israeli border being used as a cover for Hamas operatives trying o break into Israel and kill Israeli soldiers along the Gaza strip? Who Marcus discuss why Hamas holds its citizens hostage? Who Marcus?

Who Marcus aknowledge Hamas and Hezbollah are in a declared state of war with Israel and use their citizens as pawns hopefully to get shot and killed  to provide news stories to get them sympathy? Who Marcus talk about the millions killed by Assad and the use of chemials against civilians? Who Marcus the holy Muslim who can't admit what his religion is? That is precisely the point. The difference is I say out loud and boldy, I am a Zionist. Where have you read from me ever on this forum I hate Muslims, I want them dead, or that Jews are a race let lone a superior one? Show me one Zionist on board who has ever written such shit. You won't find one. You will se me not hiding I am a Jew, a Zionist and a Canadian and never couching my beliefs. How about Marcus? You ever read a damn thing from him admitting he is an Iranian Shiite fundamentalist supporter of Hezbollah, Assad and Iran? Why not? What prevents him? Where does he get off smeering Zionists while hiding who he is?

Do me a favour, if you want to buy into crap about Zionists hating people let alone Arabs, go find me the Zionist ideology that states that. It doesn't exist Never did. Zionism has nothing to do with defining Jews as a race. No Zionist ever believed that. It is absolutely false horseshit.

Zionism as I have stated time and time again, defines we Jews not in religious terms, but as a political collective expressing ourselves through a national state and state identity-no more, no less. The rest is horseshit made up by anti-Semitic Muslim extremists and neo Nazis who come on this forum and hide their mandates.

Do some Jews or Israelis hate Muslims or Arabs>  Of course. It has nothing to do with Zionism. Plenty of humans including Muslims and Arabs hate Muslims and Arabs. In fact more Muslims and Arabs die at their own hands then by any non Muslims. It has to do with conflict.

The point that the English sounding  name Marcus does not have the integrity to admit is he does not believe a Jew should have a country or nationhood let alone own land because is religion and sharia law which he follows does not distinguish state from Muslim and defines all non Muslims as inferior in a Muslim state. If anyone is a racist its Marcus for subscribing to a religion that defines non Muslims as inferior, i.e., dhimmi, khafir, inferior humans condemned to going to hell, infidels not capable of having the same rights as Muslims which includes not being able to have their own state or land.

If you think he supports a Jewish state and his only concern is about Palestinians having their own nation read back his crap on this board. Its scripted, it repeats itself and it comes right from the scripts of terrorist fundamentalist Muslims who use the Koran's passages and sharia law to justify their hatred.

His form of Islam is hateful, divisive and should be exposed for what it is. It has no place in any democratic nation and people who prescribe to his ideology are at war with everything democracies stand for and kills more Muslims each day than any Zionist.

When he has the integrity to state he is a Muslim and what form of Islamic fundamentalism he stands for, then and only then may I suggest he have any ground of credibility.

His pathetic attempt to blame Israel for the Muslim on Muslim war between Sunnis and Shiites is pathetic. His ignoring what role Iran financed terror has in Yemen speaks for itself as loudly as his silence over Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, and the hundreds of other conflict zones where Iran finances Muslim extremist terrorist cells in Mali, Malawi, Dahomey, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Mauritania, Morrocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Soithern Sudan, Bahrain. Oman, Qatar, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazahkistan, Chechnya, on and on.

Stop baiting and start debating...

When you learn this simple fact I am happy to discuss....

Hypothetically, Suppose I were a muslim. (which I am not) In your fantasy world am I not allowed to have an opinion enjoy having a ‘quaint’ english sounding name like kactus or is that just something confined to likes of rue having the entitlement to have a french sounding name!? Do you realise how pathetic you sound when you think it’s OK to label and categorise other people and accuse them as muslim extremists hiding behind english sounding names when they do not conform to your view of the world!? There is a name for that rue or whatever you are...That name resonates with hypocrisy aligned with this kind of behaviour....

Focus on your own deeds and talks instead of judging and preaching others...

Zionism is quite ugly in my view. It's the other side of the extremism when it appears that many Zionists want to get rid of all the Palestinians that are in the occupied territories. Zionism is how Israel got it's second start, and it did it really dirty like in my view.   Any other people that say 'THIS IS MINE NOW', are simply going to get laughed at.

Even thought Israel is surrounded by many Islamic nations, this is where they chose to make their home. I have no problem with them living there if they want to take responsibility for it and stop complaining when they get attacked.  And one of the reasons that had the most impact that helped Israel to take hold is because of the large backing by nations like the UK, and the US. Without that, Israel would have died on day 1 of their attempt. They built an army while buying the land in the area to eventually create the nation of Israel. They used that powerful military to fight off the surrounding Arab nations. Now think about it, how did they manage to build such a large army then DAY they declared the re-birth of Israel?

Let's say the Arabs want the land back, and they do manage to take it back, would that be any more problematic than what the Zionists have done?

As I said I don't know much about the Arab Israeli conflict but I do know that there is too much hate on BOTH sides and in my view both sides are equally guilty of hate. It is true that powerful countries (under power jewish lobby groups) supplied large sum of advanced military hardware and financial aid however the other truth is that it were the Israelis not Americans and British who fought the wars and won. It is also another fact that Arabs are very aggressive and their past history shows that they are invaders to neighbors and are brutal so Israelis have the right t self defense by any means.

But the little you do know leads you to conclude;

1. Israel and Palestine are equally guilty

2. accountability for providing one with the capacity to invade and conquer the other is negated because they didn't do the actual conquering

It is also another fact that Arabs are very aggressive and their past history shows that they are invaders to neighbors and are brutal so Israelis have the right t self defense by any means.

So Palestinians don't have the right to defend themselves or rebel against their aggressive brutal invasion?  Is it safe to assume you'd hold accountable anyone who provides Arabs with a capacity to do so?.

Arabs were allowed to buy land from the Sultan as well. However, it meant paying taxes and serving in the Ottoman military...so few did. The Mufti did, however. A bit of an exception. He went-on to get involved in WW1 and the Armenian Genocide...warming-up for later.

The rest of your scree isn't worth bothering with.
