Sounds an awful lot like control by an entity that is NOT ME.

If folks want this sort of control, perhaps we can work-out some exchange with North Korea. We'll take some of their wretches clamoring for freedom...and we can replace them with eager volunteers.

Well...the US is already halfway down that road with a leader that's about as unstable and silly as NK's.

They wouldn't stay in Canada anyway....many Canadians want better opportunities with better pay, and less taxation.

Point stands:  More Canadians emigrate or have work visas in the "gun crazy" USA.

The world standard of living would contradict you...Canadians have place 1st or 2nd in best country to live

Better pay...think not....minimum wages in Ontario start at $14.00 dollars an hour and going to $15.00 an hour next year.....construction is paying 45.00 an hour plus large benifits

Taxation covers medical services and no estate tax if you factor in the things we pay in taxes to what you have to pay out of pocket ....you get my point.

But i admire your fascination of having Canadians in your country

The USA was not designed to be a welfare state.

Which leads me to my next subject of gun control ... just kidding

I wonder how he'd feel if some kid ran through a school setting kids on fire with a Musk flame-thrower?

Lots of YouTube vids before the great censoring of homemade flamethrowers @ work...or failing horribly.

Perhaps a few high yield thermonuclear tests just to warm the joint-up. Nuke the Moon. Get Elon on-board.

Musk probably already takes this about as seriously as you.

Flamethrowers are overrated. Good for getting Japanese soldiers out of holes...but that's about it.

Gun crazy USA is the world's #1 destination for immigrants...not Canada.

Nonetheless your notion that gun control is not possible without resorting to becoming citizens of a country like North Korea is simply crazy.

You're free to live there if you seek control over your life by the government. Others have expressed their fondness for this sort of 'active control' in this very thread.

You may think Canada as a welfare state....but having anational health care is cost effective.....it costs americans twice as much for there heath care and canadians live longer

Social safety nets like unemployment has benefits...and welfare.....people can still have shelter and food....equals less crime

Less stress which equates to less mental illness Usa proves this with a huge mental health problem...

Subsidized education helps Americans with educated labour  right BC

You can have universal health care or top quality health care. You can not have both.

And still...more Canadians have emigrated to gun crazy USA, voting with their feet, and continue to do so.

Guns are not people.  You're deeply deluded if you think one is the same as the other.

Do you stay awake at night fretting over how your life is controlled by regulations governing propane?
