Recent Canadian emigrants to the United States work in fields that are often highly specialized and related to the knowledge-based economy

True....because they can't find such opportunities and investment in Canada.   Canada is where dreams go..to die.

Of course, because some don't think of "aboriginals" without safe drinking water as being Canadian.

So do Americans....lead water pipes were the norm years ago before galvanized pipes....they are talking about the pipes in houses or coming into the house from the cities water mains which is made of cast iron not lead....its the home owners responsibility to replace these pipes as they own them...oh lead pipes are an american invention....

As soon as you engage in personal attacks in a debate...you lose. Pretty simple.

In the words of US Grant...I accept your UNCONDITIONAL surrender.

Insults are the ammunition of the unintelligent - do not use them. It is okay to criticize a policy, decision, action or comment. Such criticism is part of healthy debate. It is not okay to criticize a person's character or directly insult them, regardless of their position or actions. Derogatory terms such as "loser", "idiot", etc are not permitted unless the context clearly implies that it is not serious.
The above statement is true and so was my comment as being not serious.....sorry to have hurt your feelings.....Now GET BACK UP ON THE PORCH

We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Im under the impression that BC and Dog caved to these ways of reducing gun crimes lol

Some ways of reducing gun crimes

1-Spend more on mental health

2-Laws to keep guns out of the hands of people with mental illness.

3-Banning assault weapons and weapons with high capacity magazines/clips.

4-Laws to make gun owners more responsible for the guns registered to them

5-The public to form an association to compete with NRA donations to members of congress to secure there vote for gun controls.

Thats your opinion and you may be right....but something needs to change....Americans can put a man on the moon....rovers on mars...surely they can figure out their gun problem.

Maybe we don't want to....not for other nationals to decide what Americans can surely do.

Your opinion does not make laws in the United States.

There have been these school-shootings and other massacres in the USA for years with no regard to which party has their man in the White House so trying to say that it's this or that party's fault is just trying to capitalise politically on the issue.
