Good, because that relationship is far more important than babysitting Justin Trudeau.

Obama would rather babysit Trudeau than Trump.  Unfortunately for him, he's stuck with the latter.

Agreed, that's why Trudeau is insignificant compared to Putin.

Agreed - that's why Russian interference is so much more significant than Canadian visa overstays.  Canada US relations are very important though - so say Biden and Trump.

Canadians will, of course, continue to chart their own foreign policy, while the American president learns about his big job.

Great...it's like old times when PET sucked up to Marxist/Leninist regimes just to get anti-American brownie points from Canadian voters.

Yeah, because Trudeau has access to the Canadian "nuclear codes" !

Don't worry, Trump will treat Trudeau much better than JFK treated Diefenbaker.   It's just that Putin matters a lot more for worldly things that are above Trudeau's pay grade and resources.

Canada's nuclear codes are just across the border in the hands of Obama.  Soon they'll be in the hands of Putin's buddy Trump.

No problem....Putin would know far better what to do with them.   Better relations with Putin is a good thing.

Can we get on topic ?

This isn't about Trudeau.

No, it's about Trump and Putin - not unimportant Trudeau.

Of course - It's going to be hard for Trump to play nice with his buddy Putin once he understands the gravity of the situation.  He'd know if he'd do like Pence and take the daily national security briefings.

CIA says Russia interfered in the election. The Donald says that is nonsense. How does the Donald know. He doesn't say. The Donald doesn't have to back up anything he says.

Sure, but Trudeau also tried to interfere with the U.S. election.

Sure - I wonder if Putin wants to 'lock her up'?

Trump can delegate whatever he wants...just like other American presidents.   The Putin "file" is more important.

Mitt Romney will have a hard time with that one.  He would have set a very different tone.  It must be hard for you to reconcile support of someone that is so anti Russia and someone that is in their back pocket.

i don't think Putin's interfered to help Romney.

Mitt Romney lost...Trump won.   Why would I care what Romney thinks about Putin/Russia ?

You didn't feel that way in 2012 - what changed?
