He had nothing to do with the protests across the country. Every governor is telling people that while they've reopened, mitigation is very important. I guess if Trump had been more vigilant in his language about wearing masks, some people might have gone along with it. But many still wouldn't have. He had a speech in South Dakota where 7,500 people were crammed in an outdoor theatre. He Tweeted LIBERATE Minnesota, Virginia and Michigan in response to their COVID containment efforts. He moved the Republican Convention to a different state because North Carolina had a mask order. He's minimized the threat of the virus at every step. He's lied that 99% of the cases are harmless. He never wears a mask in public. AND Yesterday he threatened to cut Education funding to states that don't open schools, regardless of their COVID situation. Should I go on? Quote

In an earlier post I mentioned how Trump has contributed to the issues the US is facing now. He has done the opposite of leading by example. I also think that the absence of a National strategy on COVID is contributing to the problem. Quote
