I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up working for him in the long term. Hopefully he will write a book at some point. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

The religious composition of refugees to the U.S. has been shifting on a monthly basis as well. In February, Trump’s first full month in office, Muslims accounted for 50% of the 4,580 refugees who entered the U.S., and Christians made up 41% of arrivals. By June, Christians (57%) made up a larger share of arrivals than Muslims (31%). http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/07/12/in-first-months-of-trump-presidency-christians-account-for-growing-share-of-u-s-refugee-arrivals/ Edited July 22, 2017 by betsy Quote
betsy Posted July 22, 2017 Author Report Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) Trump's trying to fulfill yet another promise regarding the issue of abortion: Quote Senate confirms John Bush, Trump’s 6th Circuit Court pick The Senate confirmed John K. Bush for a lifetime seat on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday over protests from Democrats who said he wasn’t fit to be a federal judge. The Senate voted 51-47 to put him on the federal bench despite criticism from Democrats on the SenateJudiciary Committee of Mr. Bush for having made controversial writings such as, in one particular blog, equating the Supreme Court’s legal rulings on slavery and abortion. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut Democrat, criticized Mr. Bush’s blog posts, quoting one where Mr. Bush wrote: “The two greatest tragedies in our country — slavery and abortion — relied on similar reasoning and activist judges on the Supreme Court.” http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jul/20/john-bush-trumps-6th-circuit-court-pick-confirmed-/ God be with you, John Bush. Omni Posted July 22, 2017 Report Posted July 22, 2017 John Bush has demonstrated he is anti gay, anti abortion, anti woman, compares abortion to slavery, and he supported Trump's BS as to Obama's birth place. Great choice Donald. I imagine his work at the 6th circuit will provide ongoing work for the SCOTUS if he applies his character to his decisions from the bench. Quote

I think a lot of people are actually ambivalent about abortion, they're swept by the noise being made through political correctness. The Republicans has to bust political correctness....anyway, there are signs that show people getting fed up with it - another reason why Trump won! They can try to chip away at it.........who knows. I could never understand how the views of those who oppose the forcing of people to bend to the will of others are compared to slavery. It seems obvious to me that those who would force a woman to carry a child to term just because they want her to are the slavers. Quote
