America under President Trump

If you need to ask these questions then you deserve Trump.

I didn't vote for Trump, but I am delighted with his antics and impact on the status quo.

My question is a serious one....why do some Canadians (e.g. Freeland's speech) so desperately want the U.S. to continue as "world leader" with the burden to do so as a presumption ?    Where does that come from ?

They are a bunch lefty globalists and they just took a hit with Trump.

TPP and Supreme court comments the only ones meaningful, or verifiable. Try again.

He is not going to give the UN climate fund the billions of dollars they hoped for.   He is deporting illegals /criminals every day.  He told NATO to pony up. Don't expect the U.S. to carrying most of the cost.  He told middle east leaders to buck up about funding and supporting terrorism.

Now there's a silly comment. But nope. If he were to be impeached there would be another federal election. My tongue in cheek question was to do if Obama could run in it. I doubt he would even if he could. But I bet he'd win bigly.

Maybe Pence would become President.  So not much gain for Democrats and liberals.

Like BC said, it would fall to Pence.  And If you think Trump is radical or far right, then you don't know Pence.

According to what I see and hear, Pence is even worse. He has a similar agenda, but he is sorta smart, in a way.

Or perhaps in this case much earlier than 4 years.

No.  They don't hold elections every year or two to satisfy the losers.  If Trump were removed (which I don't think will happen), Pence is VP and would rightfully take over.

Indeed. Best of luck. Impeachment is a high bar of course, but Trump keeps on rising closer and closer.

Dude, no matter how many times the MSM use the terms "bombshell" or "damning" or reference "house of cards", nothing was said today that gives any evidence of anything remotely illegal by Donald Trump.  Fact is; the big take away is that Trump agreed that if anyone close to him was involved, that they should be found out, that Lynch was closer to odering a directive to the FBI than Trump...and that Comey provided leaks to the press.  Beyond that, it's just another nothing burger.

The U.S. doesn't need any luck....especially from you.

Bill Clinton was impeached, but served two full terms.

I wonder how the USA became the lone global superpower without Canada's blessing ?

Contrary to popular understanding, this is not Donald Trump's first presidential rodeo. Back in 1999 he actually predicted the future:

Most people, who operate within reality understand that predicting something is not tantamount to being in a rodeo.

WoW! that's the definition of "grasping at straws".  What next "Trump tore the label off a bed mattress"?

Think so? We'll see.

If an employer says to an employee that they "hope" they will do something, that is clearly trying to influence their actions. If that employee doesn't do what the employer "hoped" they would do and gets fired a few days later, the reason why is pretty obvious.

Anyway, Mueller is the man now, so Trump will have to work on undermining him. Comey can go play some golf.

Dude, don't listen to what the MSM says, listen to what Comey said, under oath. What you assess as a "nothing burger", people with legal knowledge see as "Obstruction"
