And when referring to a billion and a half people, I don't think you can help but generalize. Muslims are hardly the only corrupt countries out there, it's true, but most Muslim countries appear to be awash in corruption, wherever in the world they're located. In any event, I think the position Trump has laid out for Americans is one which takes advantage of their disapproval of the habits, behavior, culture and values of other peoples, particularly Muslims, and their basic desire to not have too many of them in their country. It's a powerful sentiment, and it has and is working for him. The media and progressives might be up in arms over this 'ban' but not a lot of the heartland. More Americans support it than oppose it.
